  • Now I can't figure out how to assign the new tones to my contacts

I used the option "buy more" under ringtones on my iphone 5S.  Now I can't figure out how to assign the new tones to my contacts. Help please!

    Hello p618cg,
Congratulations on your new iPhone 5s!  You can follow these steps to assign a ringtone to a contact:
Set a special ringtone for a contact.
In Contacts, choose a contact, tap Edit, then tap Ringtone. Select the ringtone you'd like to hear when that person calls.

  • N8: How to assign custom SMS tone while keeping it...

The task is pretty much outlined in the topic title, but I'll still elaborate:
I want to assign Knock.aac (just a renamed Message 2.aac from my old N73) as a message tone, while keeping it hidden from the music library.
Hiding it is simple: I just put it to E:\Sounds\Simple and the library cannot see it. But what about assigning it as default tone for messages? When I open it via music player, the only option is to use it as the main ringtone, which is not what I want. When I open the Profile customisation screen and try to find it from there, it's simply nowhere to be found.
The only workaround I was able to find is putting it in E:\Sounds\Recordings as a .WAV file. This way it can be assigned as a Sound Clip. But I'd like to keep it .AAC or .MP3, and that's not possible in this workaround, because Sound Clips have to be .WAV, otherwise they can't be seen in the list.
Any ideas how to achieve this task in a civilized way?

  • How to Assigning the number ranges for Purchase Order using EXIT_SAPMM06E_0

How to Assigning the number ranges for Purchase Order using EXIT_SAPMM06E_001 using Functional Module NUMBER_GET_NEXT explain me ?

    Hi,
First go thourh the FM import export parameters list.
Try to create an internal table of type INRI-NRRANGENR for number ranges.
We can provide the lower and higher values for this table so that what ever PO is created will be with that range.
Try to create the ncessary ones using this FM.
    In the Exit, EXIT_SAPMM06E_001,
    the Export parameters are-
EKKO-EBELN- the PO ios created with in that specified range
Range as INRI-NRRANGENR - Here try to assign the Internal table that was populated in the FM.
Try to code this in the Include provded and keep Breakpint and check the PO number generated.
Reply if u need more help on this.

You can create a structure for that constant .
You can define in this way
    CONSTANTS : BEGIN OF c_pstkey,
                             01 TYPE bschl VALUE '01',
                             02 TYPE bschl VALUE '02',
                          END OF c_pstkey.
    and can access using...
    c_pstkey-01, c_pstkey-02 ........

  • Can I assign specific ring tones to certain contacts?

I would like to be able to assign specific ring tones to certain contacts; how do I do this (assuming it can be done)?

My phone has not arrived yet, but I would think you could solve this by doing these things.
Now lets just assume that you have ringtones A - Z
Set the phone to ring all the time with ring A
Then go into your contacts and set each person you know with ringtone B - Z (but you have to do this for each contact IN your phone) and you can't use A because you only want it to ring with that tone when someone you don't know is calling, right?
Then, when your phone rings with a private caller or from some # that is NOT in your contact list, it will ring A because you have assigned all other contacts either B - Z. The only difference would be that if "Joe" was calling from his office and the line out was different than the # you have in his contact, it would also ring tone A.
Of course, if you could download tones, it would be easier, but for now you can't. So, this is the only thing that would possibly work for now.
Did any of that make sense?

How do you show thumbnail images for the contacts on the iPod?

In another thread I posted a suggestion to try when the iPhoto app in the Application folder will not work:
after upgrading the OS, iPhotos (and Aperture for that matter) should still be in the Applications folder...
    And running well in 10.10.3.
If it stops running in a next "update" do not throw it away: most apps will continue running as follows:
In the Applications folder "rightclick" (CTL+click) the iPhoto app, then "show package contents", then click the MacOs folder open: you see the real app (dark grey), rightclick this and choose "make alias", an alias is made, move this alias to the Applications folder and use it to run iPhoto.
    Same for Aperture.
In older OS this survived several upgrades....

  • 6220 Classic - ring tones for individual contacts ...

My partner and i both got the 6220 classic at the same time.
On his phone he can select a contact, then options and scroll down to ringing tone and have a different ring tone for each contact or group. When I do exactly the same, it says under the contact name that their ring tone has been changed, but it still plays the standard tone. Despite saying that each contacts ring tone is different, it just plays the same one for each.
Is there a setting somewhere which we've missed? Can't understand why it works fine on one phone but not on the other.

Nope, not currently... but hopefully that change is coming in an update.

  • Different alerts for email and sms messages for a contact with custom ring tone

    Hello,
    I have a Curve 8530 with OS 5.0.0.395.
I have my default sound profile set up to play one type of alert sound when I receive and email message and another when I receive an SMS message (so I know the difference without looking at my phone). That works fine except for contacts that I also have a custom ring tone set up for. It seems that under the Custom Ring Tones/Alerts section of the contact there is only one entry for Messages and it applies to both email and SMS. If I have the contact's message alerts set to the alert I have for email, then their SMS messages play the same alert and I might think it's an email. Or if I have the messages alerts set to the SMS alert sound then their emails sound like SMS messages. Is there a way to have a custom ring tone set up for a contact but still allow their emails and SMS messgaes to follow the current sound profile's settings?
    Thanks.

    Hello,
Have you had any luck resolving this issue. I had a 8230 and this was possible. But like you I can get the 8530 to work. If you found the solution, please let me know.

    Hi,

Here is the Procedure for the Inbound Idoc Funtion Module
    Function Module : SE37
    Message : WE81
    Assign message : WE82
    Assgin FM : we57
    Process Code : WE42.
    Assign Partner Profile - WE20,
    To test the Inbound IDOC.
In WE19, Give the IDOC number & execute ... then put the cursor on the idoc control record . then click on the Standard Inbound push button on the application tool bar.it will show show all the details like partner no,type , message type , process code & function module name ...

  • How to get the sms history for iphone 4S

    Hello,
I would like some help to find out how to ressurect the message history for messages that I have received on my phone and never backed up anywhere. The messages have dissapeared by themselves, without having me deleting them or changing any default settings. Please help me to get the message history back.
    With regards,
    Caroline

Apple does not sell parts. You may be able to find something out there, but what you will get is either something stripped from a damaged phone, a knockoff, or marginal parts that failed factory inspection and are now being illegaly sold.

i am having problems assigning a ring tone to my wifes contact can anyone help?

    Hi clarkpostie,
if you select your wife's contact, select options and edit.  scroll down and you should see a detail named 'ringing tone'.  Select this and it should then display the folders you have music in.  From here pick the folder and tune you would like to associate with your wife and select 'done'.
    Hope this helps.
