Try
remove any old authorization that may have got confused, ctrl-shift-D to ADE (cmd-shift-D on Mac)
restart ADE
authorize again with your old Adobe ID.

How to recreate a deleted user account w/ same email address

Hi,
I have a MacMini running Maverics 10.9.1 and Server 3.0.1. In the server, I also have the Open Directory running, but there are no Local Network Users configured at the moment.
I deleted one of my Local Users from the server and would now like to recreate the account with the same email address as the old one had.
When I try to do this, I get an error message from the Server>Users>New User scree saying "The email address [email protected] is already in use".
Apparently the user deletion from the Server>Users screen did not compeltely delete the Local User from the server. How can I get the user including the old mailbox completely deleted?

Just one more piece of detail: the reason why I deleted this account was because every time someone sent it an email to address [email protected] it got delivered to [email protected]
After the Local User account deletion now, apparently the [email protected] still works but all mail is piped to [email protected]
So, how do I disable/fix this [email protected]>[email protected] pipe and then how do I remove the old [email protected] mail box out of the server completely?

No matter what letter I type in after "To" to Write a message, the same email address appears.

I have been accustomed to simply typing in a single letter after "To" when starting to Write a message. The letter is related to the name of the person, e.g. for Bill, I type in b, and up comes his email address. However for the last few days any letter of the alphabet will produce only a particular person's email address, usually not the one I want to write to. I can type in any letter of the alphabet and the same email address comes up after the "To". How do I restore the program to the previous state where a letter will produce the email address I want?

Welcome to the new and not improved address suggestion scheme. Instead of looking for '''Starts With''' it now works on''' It Contains'''.
This is a big source of complaints with all versions starting with v31.
You either have to keep typing until it finds who you are looking for or go back to a version before they broke it like v24.6.
Maybe one day the developers will come to their senses and go back to what worked for most users and abandon this new process. All they would need to do is read the forum posts since they released this broken software.

I have in the past created an Apple ID for use with the UK itunes store, because I want to read in English. If I sign in it seems that this ID will only allow me to purchase from the UK store. But I live in Belgium, so I can't download from the UK store. So I tried to create an apple ID for the Belgian itunes store. But I want to use the same email address as I used for the first apple ID I made (because I'm fed up of having to remember which email address I used for which account). When I tried this, I just get a message saying that the email address is already in use for another account (which I know, because it's me who made that account). Does anyone have a workaround for this?

I'm presuming you went ahead and set up a new Apple ID, yes? Using the same password in more than one Apple ID has worked for me in the past, but I haven't tried it in a while so the tightened security may have changed that. You could use the same password but add "-UK" and "-BE", or something like that, to make it easier to remember.
I understand what you mean about losing the ability to deal with UK purchased stuff, but this is becoming so inconvenient that I do want to delete that UK apple ID account. I have looked everywhere I can think of on the apple website (apple id, itunes, support etc) and I can't find a link/eplanation/contact point that deals with deleting apple ID and itune store accounts. Surely this must be possible?
It's possible, but Apple is very reluctant to do it, and it's not something a user can do on their own. It would be better to just stop using the UK account rather than trying to get it deleted. Just remove your payment information and there should be little reason to have the account deleted. If you really want to try, though, you'll need to send a message to iTunes support specifying that you want the account cancelled.
On a completely different matter, I have bought my son an ipod touch. But since he is younger than 13 years old, how does one go about using the itunes store to get music onto his ipod touch?

A couple of different approached:
Create a second AppleID for one of you that includes the email address and phone number you wish to use for messaging, but do not apply it to the iTunes and app store (just keep the current one). My wife and I do this and it works quite well. Also allows for easier syncing of Contacts , notes etc. using icloud if you wish to do that.
Add additional emails/phone numbers to the existing account and change the Send/Receive settings for Messages. this will not fix the Contcts isues for you however.

However, when downloading games to the game center, we have to use my Apple Id and then it automatically sets up my game center username on my daughter's Ipod. But she wants to play some of the same games that I do but she can't because my username keeps coming up.

An icloud account is designed to be used by one user. That user can have all his/her devices synced with the same Apple data (email, contacts, calendars, notes, reminders, etc.) . When two people use the same account, then problems usually occur when one user edits data that the other user doesn't want changed on their device. You can continue sharing the same ID for the itunes account in order to share the purchased music, apps, etc. itunes accounts and icloud accounts are different.
It's by far better that each user has his/her own icloud account.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes store in the iTunes application on your computer, enter your password and click the "view account" button. Navigate to the Apple ID summary where you have the option to "change country or region".
In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.
You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support.

I can only see three weeks of emails on the imap email account on my iMac even though the same email address set up as a pop account on my iPhone, iPad and another iMac show all my emails. How do I change the setting to see more emails?

I have two iMacs, an iPhone, and an iPad. All use the same email address but the new iMac would only let me set up the email account as an imap account. On this iMac I can only see three weeks worth of emails. On the other iMac, iPhone, and iPad, this email address is set up as a pop account and I can see emails as far back as three years. I use Yosemite on the new iMac and I cannot find out how to change the settings to let me see more than three weeks worth of emails. This is an att&t email account which is basically a Yahoo account.

Nope. It will reset all settings. For fix errors.
Or you can try Logging out and Restart your iPad and Sign in again.
