How to attach a document using the Send mail component

Hello,
I would like to know how to attach a document in a email using the Send mail component.
There are these nodes into the atom but I don't know how to use it.
<attachment doc="/ds/grp/doc" pltype="xml">
          <xsl:copy-of select="/vpf:Msg/vpf:Body/vpf:Payload[@Role='S']/vpf:Msg/vpf:Body"/>
        </attachment>
Does anyone know ?
Thank you.

    Thanks Jeremy,
    Yes I am contemplating the another threat .  I still want to send two files because the two files have very distinct type of information .  The first one is operational and the second one is about statistics .  Of course that I can send both type of inforrmation in only one file . I just want to save time to the end user and let him select what infomation he wants to see .
    Thanks and my best wishes for you and your family ,

  • How to attach a document (using Pages) to a Gmail account?

    I am using Gmail and trying to attach a document ( Mac Pages) but it wont attach, keeps telling me that its failed to attach.

    If a person uses Apple's native Mail App that came on the Mac or iOS device...then is will send attachments of the newest "Mavericks" versions of Pages, Numbers and Keynote. If a person tries to do this from within a Web Browser it doesn't seem to work (as I've recently tested from information from of our churches staff who only use the Web Interface). So, I'm not sure if Google changed something with thier Web Browser version recently or not, since I've always used the native Mail App on all my Macs and iOS devices.
    So, there used to be a problem sending attachments from within the Mail App several months ago...but that was fixed by Apple (again several months ago).
    Hope that helps...
    I highly recommend using the built in Mail App (Email Client).
    Multiple Email Accounts:
    An Email Client allows multiple email accounts from different email providers to all be used simultaneous in one simple to use interface without any problematic POP forwarding settings or delayed delivery problems. i.e. It will gather and display email from Yahoo, Gmail, iCloud, AOL, Microsoft Exchange or any other email provider.
    Accounts can still be viewed separately or all together:
    All email accounts can still be viewed separately or all together with a click of the mouse or a tap of the screen, again without any forwarding settings. i.e. It's great for keeping personal and/or work accounts separate, and it also allows multiple signatures which helps relay professionalism, consistency and saves a little typing, too.
    Select Multiple Messages:
    A person can select multiple messages (even from different email accounts or email providers), and move, copy, delete, or even forward them all at the same time with a single action.
    Work Offline:
    It allows a person to continue working offline. i.e. no matter if Wi-Fi or the internet goes down or is unavailable in a certain area.
    Advanced Rules and Filtering Based on Multiple Factors:
    A person can set rules or advanced rules and filtering based on multiple factors (words, senders, subjects, headers, etc.)
    Quick Look:
    And, if you’re on a Mac, you can used features like "Quick Look" to view full Microsoft Office or Apple iWorks (Pages, Numbers, or Keynote) documents right inside your Mail App.
    No Extra Apps to Download:
    As it's already pre-installed on all Apple computers and iOS devices, so it's one less App to download or maintain.
    Mac and iOS Versions Both Work Similarly:
    Both the desktop and mobile versions work very similarly.
    Easy to Maintain:
    Apple automatically maintains it with each System Update, which is great for security, too.
    Attachments are Easy (with less importing/exporting):
    Working with attachments is super easy without any external importing or exporting (for example: items can be imported and exported directly to and from iPhoto, Contacts, Calendars etc. without any duplication).
    It takes full advantage of the built in systemwide OS X / iOS features that popup:
    Spell Checker
    User Learned Spell Checker
    Dictation and Speak Selection
    Full Thesaurus (no internet required)
    Full built in Oxford Dictionary (no internet required)
    Wikipedia (on demand with an internet or data plan connection)

  • How to attach a document with the Requisition Workflow?

    I am testing the Oracle Requisition Demo workflow.Whenever i initiate the
    workflow process with Reminder Requisition Document Option.The browser pop up
    with the Error "The requested URL cannot be retrieved". Can anyone please guide me how do i attach a document with this process?
    Regards,
    Abrar

    This field in the demo is designed to execute a PL/SQL procedure not store and attached document.
    for example if you launch it from the demonstration Page instead of the launch process page the following will be populated into the document field. (PLSQL:WF_REQDEMO.REMINDER_REQ_DOCUMENT/WFDEMO:A1)
    You can store a CLOB or BLOB in a workflow document attribute. Here is a link to the doc.
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B13789_01/workflow.101/b10284/defcom11.htm#doc
    If you want to upload and pass documents through a workflow you can do it in a variety of ways. Personally I would use Oracle Files if I wanted it off the shelf. Or use Oracle Text and the database and pass the document throught the workflow as a URL. There is also the CMSDK.

  • How to attach a document to a reply mail

    I don't understand why a reply mail can't attach a file. how come Apple people have ignored such an essential feature!!!
    While trying to open a file in "Mail" app from another app such as DropBox, Google Drive should have options to choose for making it a new mail (OR) a reply to a mail which exists in any mailing folder.
    While trying to attach a file in Safari, it accepts only photos to attach and scribble but not even a "Note" or anything else. This is not a good idea. It should allow other apps to share their documents/files through Safari.
    Please someone tell these Apple guys to not to ignore these important features which are essential for a mailing app.
    Please share if you have any ideas on these issues

    On websites such as gmail.com or icloud.com/#mail one can attach any file that is browsable through the Finder.
    I'm not sure, I couldn't attach a "Note" or any other Finder-browsable file either. It is asking only an image file but not anything else.
    Also, you can attach files to a reply mail without any issue. Just reply to a mail and click the paperclip icon:
    Even I couldn't find the attachment icon in Reply mail:
    Are you sure that feature is available for iPhone 4S(iOS 8.1.2)?
    Your question number 2 is so unclear
    As we can open any file in Mail app to send it, is there any way to send that file in a new mail or a reply to a mail?

  • How to send mails in HTML format from the send mail step of workflow?

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where I need to send mails in the html format from the send mail step of the workflows.
    But what I found out that the html tags are not renderd and as such the output is in plain text.
    I know that there is an alternative of using an activity step and use my own custom code from within there,But due to certain business constraints, I need to use the send mail step only.
    My SCOT settings are all right.
    Please let me know how it can be done.
    Thanks,
    Samrat.

    Samrat,
    It can't be done, you have to use your own activity step.
    What are these constraints that refrain you from doing that?

    Does any one know how to attach a document from your mail, while you are already in your e-mail, meaning not having to look for your file first and then open the e-mail.

    Luis
    Good question - and one that a lot of (business) people would like solved!
    Your question prompted me to do some research, and I found this workaround posted by Scott Grossberg:
    His solution actually addresses a second problem too - how to attach a document when replying to an email message. In your case you may not need to consider the "reply" aspect - but if not right now, it'll come in useful someday!
    I've pasted it verbatim - if it works for you (it does for me) then all credit goes to Scott for solving the problem. There's just one thing I'd add to his solution: you will probably want to rename the message, as by default Goodreader gives it the Subject line: Mail with GoodReader attachments.
    THE GOODREADER OPTION
    1.  CREATE the document you want to send.
    2.  SAVE it to GoodReader (this will require you to buy and install the app).
    3.  Go to your email and OPEN the email thread to which you want to Reply and attach your file.
    4.  COMPOSE your Reply.
    5.  DOUBLE TAP the message.
    6.  TAP SELECT ALL. This will copy the entire email thread.
    7.  OPEN GOODREADER on the iPad and go to the file you want to send as part of your Reply.
    8.  At the bottom of the GoodReader screen you will see an EXPORT icon (it looks like a rectangle with an arrow pointing to the right).
    9.  TAP the Export button.
    10.  TAP EMAIL FILE. Depending on your needs, tap either SEND FILE “AS IS” or “FLATTEN ANNOTATIONS.” This will open a compose message screen with the chosen document already attached.
    11.  TAP in the body of the email screen. TAP PASTE. This will place your composed Reply and the prior email thread into the message.
    12.  ENTER the Recipients’ names in the TO: field of your message.
    13.  SEND your email Reply.
    The modified version (= when composing a new message rather than a reply):
    1 Make sure that the doc you want to attach is saved in GoodReader
    2 In the message you are composing, double tap, select all, and then copy.
    3 Open GoodReader and select the file you want to attach
    4 Select the export button at the bottom of screen
    5 Select e-mail file
    6 Position cursor in body of the email message, tap and paste. You may want to delete the "sent from GoodReader" text that precedes the attachment.
    7 Rename your message (as by default it will be Mail with GoodReader attachments)
    8 Add the recipient's address in the To field.
    Hope this helps! All thanks to Scott for this workaround.

  • How can I attach an image without the image is in the email body? (using the new mail the Lion)

    How can I attach an image without the image is in the email body? (using the new mail the Lion)
    I want in attachment, not in the body mail.

    I think your only solution is to zip the image files first and then attach them.
    Read this from a site I found:
    Sending Graphical Attachments -- When you attach a graphical image to your message, the recipient of your message sees the image inline (that is, in the body of the message) if her email client supports inline display. ("Take Control of Email with Apple Mail" contains a table listing the capabilities of popular Mac and PC email clients.) If a client does not support inline display (or the recipient has turned off the inline display option), the file appears as an attachment that must be opened in a separate program.
    On the one hand, an inline image is easier for the recipient to see - all she has to do is look at it. On the other hand, inline images can be frustrating to scroll through. If you do not wish to send a graphical image inline, you must compress the file before attaching it - Mail, sadly, lacks a built-in compression option, though fortunately for Panther users, the Finder offers Zip compression without requiring a separate application.
    Note that when you compose a new message, Mail always shows attachments in the body of your message. You can manually drag them somewhere else, but many email clients display all attachments in a separate list, regardless of where you place them in the message body.
    If you paste an image into a message or drag & drop an image from another window (say, a Web browser), Mail converts the raw image data to an attachment in TIFF format. On the other hand, if you drag & drop the icon of an image file (or use the Attach button to locate the file using the file browser), Mail leaves the attached image in its original format. This difference is significant, because although most email clients can display JPEG images just fine, support for TIFF - especially in non-Mac email clients - is less common. If possible, I suggest attaching image files as opposed to pasting or dragging in raw image data.

  • How to attach a text in the center of the Ellipse using JXML ?

    How to attach a text in the center of the Ellipse using JXML ? Can we use labelFor="$topEllipse" ?
    <StackPane fx:controller="myfxml.ArchiveLogsController" id="Login" xmlns:fx="http://javafx.com/fxml">

    I'd suggest putting the Ellipse and the Label in a StackPane.
    I wonder why so many people call it JXML?
    It is so strange - I guess the JXML name just seems more natural to some people, though I don't know why.
    I think Greg is right and that labelFor is not what you want:
    http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/api/javafx/scene/control/Label.html
    "Labels also are useful in that they can have mnemonics which, if used, will send focus to the Control listed as the target of the labelFor property . . . A Label can act as a label for a different Control or Node. This is used for Mnemonics and Accelerator parsing. This allows setting of the target Node."

    I can't seem to find a way to get them to scan continuously, or a way to stitch them together afterwards.

    Hi dagda24,
    You can scan multiple pages into a single document with the scan to PDF option.  Use the following steps to do so:
    1.  Open MP Navigator.
    2.  Click One Clcik.
    3.  Click Save to PC.
    4.  Change the File Type from PDF to PDF (multiple pages).
    5.  Make any other changes as needed, then click scan.

  • How to maintain format in html email using the send email....

    Does anyone know how to maintain the format in a HTML email using the Send E-mail To Recipients From Recordset behavior?
    When text only is selected instead of HTML text on the Options tab the format of the input is maintained, but when HTML text is selected the email has no format. I have tried to use a replace \n with
    as I have done when hand coding PHP, BUT I am trying to learn to use ADDT. I also tried to use a Custom trigger without success.
    Help!

    Hi Dave,
    in my snippets folder I have this thing which I found on the old MX Kollection forums and which was suggested by the Interakt staff:
    //trigger SendEmail (write content)
    function Trigger_SendEmail(&$tNG) {
    ob_start();
    include("myDynamicContentFile.php");
    $mailcontent = ob_get_contents();
    ob_end_clean();
    $emailObj = new tNG_Email($tNG);
    $emailObj->setTo("[email protected]");
    $emailObj->setFrom("[email protected]");
    $emailObj->setSubject("A new User was added");
    $emailObj->setContent($mailcontent);
    $emailObj->setEncoding("UTF-8");
    $emailObj->setFormat("text");
    $emailObj->setImportance("Low");
    return $emailObj->Execute();
    //trigger SendEmail (write content)
    The only modification is the possibility to include a dynamic PHP file rather than some static text or a HTML file which will also render textarea contents on one line:
    ob_start();
    include("myDynamicContentFile.php");
    $mailcontent = ob_get_contents();
    ob_end_clean();
    That said, it should be possible to define all the "rendering" options in the external PHP file, what would mean to apply the nl2br function there, e.g.: nl2br($row_queryname['columnname'])
    What I´m not sue about is, if you will have to strip the external file´s head and body tags before it´s getting included -- however, please give this a try and tell us how it worked.
    Cheers,
