List item is forms is generally used when you have pre-defined set of values. you can define them property of list item.
It seems you have dynamic list of values to be displayed on your form, instead go for a text item with a LOV. You can define your logic to get list of values in record group.

Maintenance plan search for no attached task list

Hello Experts!
I have tried searching for an answer to this to no avail. Is it possible to execute a search for maintenance plans that have no task list attached to them? I have tried IP15 thinking their would be a status to include or exclude but have had no luck. Any thoughts?

If suitable to you, you can get this information in scheduling overview from IP19 by
1.Selecting Tabular radio button
2. Giving Tasklist Type field value = blank as under.
Also try Tcode IP24 with point 2.

It is better to fulfil this requirement by Recording ( either BDC or LSMW )
If you have a beg set of data and if this is a one time job, you can use 0170/0001/RCPTRA01/B. SAP gives a detailed program documentation about various options.
There are also other objects to update the Equipment Task list, Funcational location tasklist.

How to fetch task list details?

I want to fetch task list details against multiple task lists.
Currently i am calling FM EAM_FM_TASKLIST_GETDETAIL in a loop.
Since it may lead to performance issues in the case of large number of tasklists, I am looking for other options.
Is there any other option?

If you only specify those tables you require in EAM_TASKLIST_GET_DETAIL (e.g. ET_HEADERS, ET_OPERATIONS) then the function module will run much quicker.
I'm not sure why your Code Review Team have issues with this method - its common practice to use SAP standard function modules in this way.
The only real way to know if the Code Review Team are correct is to try testing the report in a test/staging system (copy of production).

How to attach files in workflow notification response/reply message

There is a requirement to respond to worklist notification or email notification with attachments, where in user attachs some data and replies back to notification and this attachments must be handled back by workflow and go to another user.
Any ideas please help!

Unfortunately this functionality is not even planned for any upcoming release. Enhancement request can be filed via Oracle Support and then brought to WF Development attention if the functionality does make sense as a business case.

control-click on the group in Address Book and select "edit distribution list". it will let you select the addresses to be used for contacts with multiple emails.

Problem in Preventive Maintenance - Task list attachment

Dear PM Gurus
In IP42 while attaching task list for a plan (by clicking binacular), a new selection screen opens (Display Task List), in that for Status field value '2' is set by default and it is disabled. 2- is for Released for Order. I want to change it to 4- Released General.
Pl. tell me how to change it ?

In 2-Release for order
reference operation set is released for usage in routings and plans was set. When I uncheck it is comming as 4.

The issue is I can't able to select the task list, since the status is 4 - Released (General) and in the selection screen status is set as 2 and I cant able to change it.

Hi Amit,
There are two ways to incorporate your requirement: -
1. With having singable tasklist( With singable Tasklist counter)
Assume you have a Material "M"
Customer: - C1 And C2
Tasklist Group:- ABC
Counter: - 01
Go to QP02. Select the The Tasklist group counter line item, click on "Material Assignment" And assign the Material and both the customer C1 and C2 here to the material.
(Material will be assigned two times)
Now go to characteristics overview screen. Select the MIC and click on "Dependant Characteristic". Where if you have different limits (5 to 10 for C1 and 5 to 15 for C2), you can assign it the relevant line item representing the customer.
2. Two different group counters:-
Assume you have a Material "M"
Customer: - C1 And C2
Tasklist Group:- ABC
Counter: - 01 for C1
Counter: - 02 for C2
Then it is very simple boss! Go to material assignment and assign the materials along with the Customers over there.

First question is it possible or not? I have tried to search a lot on this topic but does not find a way to achieve this. I know how to integrate task list with outlook but I want to integrate it with exchange
server. Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

In SharePoint Server 2010 , tasks lists are blindly synced to the local Outlook desktop application. You can see SharePoint Tasks only on the client computer to which the SharePoint task list was downloaded.
If you log on to another device, you must sync the SharePoint task list to that device in order to see the tasks.
But in SharePoint Server 2013, SharePoint Server 2013 task lists use Exchange Server to sync, tasks are updated in real time and can be seen on any device that you use to access Microsoft Outlook. When SharePoint
Server is connected to Microsoft Exchange Server, and all client computers are connected to Exchange Server, client computers receive information from the task lists directly from Exchange Server.
For a workaround, you can use 3rd Party tool to connect Exchange Server to SharePoint task lists. For more information, you can refer to the blog:
