How to attached automatic flash update to website

Our website doesn't contain all the text for buttons when
opened on certain computers, i'm not sure but it maybe because the
computers in question do not have the latest flash installed. If
this is the case i would like to incorporate an automatic flash
update to the site so that when people open the site it works
properly. I would really appreciate any advice. Cheers

You haven't yet tried: System Preferences>Software Update>Scheduled Check>Uncheck "Check for updates" ?

This is a frequently recurring, time wasting problem. When will Adobe get the update installation right ?
Doesn't happen with any other update from any other vendor. Frustrating!

Aside from the Flash update failure on my Desktop, I still can't fathom why
I haven't been able to install Flash ever on my HP Compaq Pressario 1000 Laptop ever.
This too sports XP Pro SP3 IE8.
If you have any ideas on this other problem, please let me know.

Procedure on how to Automate Flash Updates

I realized that because Flash is used so universally, it can be a target for hackers. I appreciate it that Adobe provides regular updates to safeguard my computer from attacks. Yet the frequency of update messages makes it pretty annoying to got through the same procedure and how it steals focus to do it! When the last update installed it was right in the middle of a presentation!!! I prefer Firefox Portable and yes, I know some browsers download to a separate update window and Firefox, both Desktop and Portable/Key versions are not an exception.
However until I have completed the Flash update installation, because I can't find a way to automate it, given I answer the same questions in the same "Yes" manner, every time, I find myself wishing for and always on the lookout for a Flash substitute that I can automate!
Unless i've missed a setting, I see no way to stop this nagging, so can anyone help with this?

can we assume you are on a mac? this may be fact of life.
one alternative that i can think of is to disable auto update. this essentially disables any notification. you would need to keep track of updates manually if you choose this option.

How difficult is it to update a website with mobile platforms as well as desktop?

I just updated my Adobe CC for Photographers to the full version of CC mostly to get Muse. I thought it was fully adaptable to mobile devices. Now I'm finding out that that isn't necessarily true. Is it true I have to run three different platforms to have the mobile comparability? If this is true will I have to update all three every time I change or add to my website? How difficult is it to do this?
Also, I read somewhere that if it isn't hosted at Adobe some of the add-ons like forms and blogs may not work. Is this correct?

Multi-platform support depends on what templates/ themes you use and their associated CSS and widgets. Not everything works everywhere and that's something you have to live with, was e.g. support for JavaScript on mobile devices is generally a pain in the rear parts. Otherwise you get what you pay for - if you need more forms or other features, you have to move on from your limited options included in MU and look around. Though I really don't see the issue. You can have anything from blogs to forums for free these days, you may just have to live with the fact that then you wouldn't use Muse at all to manage them and add content.

How not to automatically resize updated images

I'm stumped... I have all my images placed from illustrator at 100%. When I modify the illustrator files, and update the images in InDesign, not only does it resize (up or down), but it moves its x- and - placement coordinates, so I have to go back and double check each image every time updates are made. How do I turn this feature off or prevent it from happening?

If you change the dimension of your graphic in Illustrator, InDesign auto-detects the edges and resizes it, which is throwing off your percentage.
There is no way to turn this feature off, but a work-around is to create a static box behind your graphic in Illustrator. That way, as you change the dimension of your graphic, InDesign will fit to the box instead of the edge of your graphic.
As long as your graphic stays inside the box, this will avoid skewing your graphic and keep it in the same place.

IMO, the best version of Flash for WinXP. Adobe kept up with security updates for 10.3 for WinXP users long after Flash 11.0 came out in 2011 for Vista and newer versions of Windows.

Then you can run the Flash installer, with Firefox closed, of course.

How do I automatically load a page from a Flash intro?

I've created an intro Flash movie for my website and have two
questions:
1) Once the movie has run its course, how do I automatically
get the next swf file (home.swf) to automatically load after it? I
am using Flash CS3 and will be using Dreamweaver CS3 to publish.
2) If someone wants to skip the intro movie and go straight
to home.swf how do I make this happen? I've created a "skip movie"
button but am not quite sure about the code required to make the
button work.

if you use Action script 2.0 i can give you the solution...
we can do the same thing in different manner but i don't know
how you have done... but my part of idea is you can have a base
movie and in that you can load the first intro.swf and in the end
of that intro movie clip you can unload the current movie and load
a homemovie in the base movie clip so that you will have more
benefit like if they skip the intro you can just load the home .swf
directly without loading the intro.swf. this is just a general
idea.
If you give a clear idea how you has created i can give you a
better and a clear idea with the code...

I have this same problem and it occurs with other websites (like ESPN.com) too. Only I don't get the option of disabling automatic page updates on other websites. I disabled and reinstalled Mozilla and it went away for a short while. About two weeks later the same problem popped back up.

Turn off Windows update , follow this.
Also go through this thread, try the suggestion from HP Expert @Nuccii
To do System recovery, follow this - try System refresh instead of Factory reset so that data, files and settings would be preserved. Nevertheless always backup all your data to an extrenal hard drive before doing any sought of recovery.
System restore won't help if you've upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 & want to go back to 8.
