    Hi,
I am user iPad and I do not know how can attach a file into email e.g. CV.
    Thanks

You attach files within the app that creates the file or within the app that the file is saved. For example you email photos from within  the Photos App itself. Typically there will be an action icon within the app - an arrow icon many times - you tap on that to bring other options like Share - then Email.
Attachments must be mailed within the apps themselves.

  • How to attach two files in the send mail action

    Hi experts
I want to attach two files in the send mail action . I tried using ; as a separator but it did not work .

    Thanks Jeremy,
Yes I am contemplating the another threat .  I still want to send two files because the two files have very distinct type of information .  The first one is operational and the second one is about statistics .  Of course that I can send both type of inforrmation in only one file . I just want to save time to the end user and let him select what infomation he wants to see .
Thanks and my best wishes for you and your family ,

  • How to attach a file to email

How do I attach like a bank statement  which says a pdf file to my yahoo email?

Are you using Apple's Mail program?  Or a web browser like Safari?   Either way, while composing a message look for a button with a paper clip symbol on it.  Clicking on that will then give you a dialog box for selecting the attachment.  In Mail you can also just drag and drop files into the message window.

    You aren't doing anything wrong.
If the PDF is short enough, your iPad Mail app will display the text as part of the mail.
Actually it is still an attachment.
Tap and HOLD on the text and you should see options to "Open In..." that will allow you to open the PDF in most PDF readers such as iBooks, GoodReader, etc.

I am having a problem with the FireFox browser. I have attached two files that best describe the problem. I have labeled them A & B. A is the way it should look and B is what happens after I have I opened several tabs. I can get it back to normal if I click on VIEW than click on customize. When the customize window appears FireFox returns to its normal state. I than click on the done box and go back to what I have been doing. I tried resetting FireFox back to default settings, but that did not correct the problem.
This began happening about a month ago. Is there a way I can fix this problem? Thanks for your help.I don't know how to attach my 2 attachments that shows the problem I am having.

  • Attach a file to Email

Hi, can anyone please guide me on how to attach a file in my phone to an email reply. (I can draft a new mail with attached file by using iFile only)

    Hello DrAnujGupta and All,
    The same here...
I use my iPhone/iPad for both personal and professional matters. We all use the Mac email client for long time and clearly being able to attach a file while composing or replying and email is a needed feature.
Below the two situations where I really miss of this feature:
    a) I'm composing an email - already typed large amount of text - and realized that by attach a certain file the information would be more complete.
My workaround: Copy the list of - To: - destination email and past it in some text file, copy the message body text  and past it in some text file, go the proper application containing the file a want to sent by email, use the application "share" or "sent by email" button - assuming that the application has such feature, copy back the email list and the body text.
    b) I have received an email from from someone that is after a report. I need to reply with an attachment, keeping the same email conversation thread. This example, the current workaround can be a bit more cumbersome if the sender email address is not part of my address book.
address is not in my address book.
My workaround: I reply to the person - or list of people - informing that I will sent another email with the required document.
Please note that those workarounds are not meant to provide solution to this problem, but to expose how hard is to live without this feature.
I believe that this may be related with the fact that iOS applications are "sandboxed", jailed aiming a more secure application runtime environment - I'm not an expert, just guessing here... The email application seems to have a reasonable ability to know which application can open a received attachment file. This demonstrates that there is a way - or there could be a way - to allow the applications to exchange files in a secure way. If this is truth, the other applications should also be able to share files with email application.

  • How to attach multiple file in one mail

    Hi,
I've problems with sending multiple files via Gmail account (Ipad version)  When sending the photo or video, I've to just click the photo and choose send to mail one by one. Any simpler way?  Sometimes i did sent both mpg and jpg but the reciepient didn't see any attachment too
Anyone can help advise how to attach different file (doc, video, photo) in one mail will be a lot appreciated. Thank you so much

You can attach multiple pictures to an email on an ipad2. Don't know about original iPad.
Choose a photo or take a screen shot (hold down home button and button next to volume control at same time--screen shot now will appear in photos).
Go to photos and edit your picture or screen shot, save it, then hold down on the image and copy it.
Go to mail, create a new mail and paste it in.
Save you mail as a draft.
Go back to photos and select a different photo, copy it, and return to your draft, and paste it in. Repeat if you need to add more.
Anything that you can take a screen shot or have an photo of can be pasted in one at a time into that draft email.
If mail gets uncooperative, during this process, then double click on home button and quit multitasking mail, then open up mail again and send your draft. Uncooperative means gets frozen.

  • How to attach a file

    Dear All,
I want to send an email but I don,t know how to attach a file. I am using gmail on my ipad2 now I wish to send an email to my friend along with my mail I wish to attach a PDF file.
Kindly please help me out because it is not showing the option for attaching the file.
    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately you can't. But other apps will allow it, like Goodreader. Goodreader is free and lets you open PDFs which can then be emailed. Pages, which is a document-layout programme also allows documents to be emailed within itself.

Tamer is not working and I prefer not to use TERMINAL (defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool yes)
Right click send as icon is not a solution.
    Any other options? Thanks!

and I think It does something to do with the way I send files.
    Thanks
It's nothing to do with the way you send them. Every mail client chooses how to cope with attachments: in some there is a preference setting but in many cases it automatically displays embedded images. Even where there is a preference setting it's up to the person receiving the email: you can't control it. Why are they so fussed about your sending as an attachment? The image can be saved easily enough, usually by dragging it to the Desktop, or by a button to save attachments. If they really want this you are going to have to zip it, there isn't any other way round it.

  • How to attach a file to the mail

How to attach a file to the mail

I know that this can be done when going to any PDF program and push (send as  email)
This also can done with multiple files or even with separate pages from that PDF file (Many programs can do that, like: PDF expert, Adobe Reader, iBooks, PDF Provider, Documents, etc)
But what if I begin to wright an email, then I wanted to attach a file (such as PDF, or word, or any file) , FOR BASIC APPLE MAIL IT IS UNAVAILABLE
You can attach Photo or Video but not PDF or other document
There are some email programs that can attach files to email such as my.mail (as you can see from the photo)
But why Apple don't provide such simple service ???
