How to authorise many iPads with one Apple ID

Hi all,
This is for work purposes. Is it possible to have one Apple ID, authorised with multiple iPads, could be 30 or more? The iPads will be used for teaching so will all run the same apps. They are handed back in after class.
I should say I want to download all the apps using this one Apple ID to the multiple iPads.

We're screwwwwwed! Not THAT familiar to apple, just barely plugging along and dove in with two ipads and two ipod touches. Previous experience was just two ipods (160 GB) that I had to still rotate audio books out of every few months... well, for me. My wife doesn't use hers as much. ANYWAY, I lost a zillion things with the ipod classic since it didn't have a back-up option and many of the CDs I scrounged up when it first came out were already lucky to have survived college. 8 years later and the computer that had the original files had been replaced umpteen times. ipods failed and decided to quit being a tight wad. Unfortunately there's no way to do this unless the game has a username and password that you sign in within the game format. If Apple allowed users to use different apple IDs and get the same purchase how would they ever make money?
Each purchase made on apps is associated with the Apple ID it was purchased under... they cant' be transferred or used by another Apple ID.

Apps are tied to the Apple Id they were purchased with. So any updates for the Apps will ask for that apple ID to update.
The only way to prevent this is if you remove all the Apps that were purchased with your ID from the iPad.

Sign out of the Apple ID on the device in question, making sure to disable the Find My iDevice feature.
Sign in with the new Apple ID.

As far as I am aware you cannot split, or use separately. What are you trying to archive by trying to have one Apple ID, but separate? Maybe if you can mention what your aim is, there could be a suggested solution.

Yes, it is possible. 1 apple ID can be associated with up to 10 devices.

You can't. Not directly anyway. You might be able to import them to your computer and then sync them to the iPad but there is no way to transfer them over the air or by connecting the two devices with a cable.
