How to auto log out of a page after a minute

I have a page with a webcam, the webcam streams in flash
where I cannot really set it to stop after a certain time. So if
someone wants they can leave it running all day etc. I'd like to
set it that the page will wait about a minute or 2 and then it will
auto forward to another page which will give the option for going
back to the original page to view the cam etc. this way if someone
leaves the computer or page open they will not chew up all the
bandwidth of the cam.
What would be the best way to do that?
Also for extra credit, is it possible in CFMX to encrypt the
source code of the flash player so that users cannot copy and paste
the code of the cam on their website?
Thanks

Thanks guys you really helped me! And I changed my password
Chris I figured that but just wanted to double check. My cousin once logged in on my iPod and when I tried to download something for myself(he was still logged in) it immediatrely asked me for HIS password. Gave me NO CHANCE.
As a reward guys here's the rest of the story:
I am AGAINST posers and showoffs so when I walked into the store and saw a picture of a stereotypical thug posing and flipping off the camera in the iPhone's Camera Roll I decided to have some fun. He was trying to look tough and disrespectfully had his middle finger in the foreground of the pic.
I downloaded Glow Draw app and loaded his pic. I then wrote "nerd" on the pic and saved it back to the Camera Roll. So next time a customer see's the "thug" they will laugh. I was in a hurry and ran out of the store.... leaving me in the curremnt predicament.
Foolish? maybe. Karma? IDK.

I used Share to post a page on Facebook. Now I'm getting Facebook notifications when I'm logged out of FB. How do I log out of Share, and only log in when I want to use it?

    Hi NimaG!
It seems like you may need to adjust your notifications settings for Facebook in order to address this issue:

  • How do I keep myself active so I don't get auto-logged out?

    Hi,
My wife & I have a computer that we share with our young kids. They each have their own account with Parental Controls turned on and time limits and it all works well with one exception. When they run out of time, their programs (often resource-intensive Safari) stay open and using CPU and memory and making the computer run slowly. We want to try setting the Security preference to log out after X minutes of inactivity, but we don't want the account we use to be auto-logged out.
My thought was that maybe there is a simple piece of software that could do something every few minutes that would keep her account active. Thinking about it now, I'll bet there are a lot of users who have the opposite problem - they want to be logged out when they are inactive, but something is keeping them active!
Anyway, does anyone know of a simple program that will keep her active so she doesn't seem to be inactive even when she is so we can 'trick' the Mac into thinking she never goes inactive? Then we can set the preference to log out inactive users, thus fixing the problem of our kids' programs running even after they've used up their time for the day.
Or maybe there is another solution to this problem. Any thoughts?
    TIA,
    Thad

Mac OS X is a multi-User system. Settings for Parental Controls are on a per-User basis.
Parental Controls do not apply to your Account, unless you set your account to have some Parental Controls as well.

  • How to log out of EWS page?

I'm new to the EWS pages but don't see anyway to log out of the page so that the password will be required on the next access.
    Thanks!

    Hi Jim,
The term EWS is mentioned when the user right clicks on the Ditigal Imaging Monitor and then selects the network printer. Along with the options of Status, Toolbox, etc., EWS is one of the options. IIRC, it is also mentioned in the manual. But yeah, calling it Printer Home Page would make things easier.
As for the OP's question, you can directly close the browser. There is no logout button. You can clear the cookies of your browser after you close it, so that the password is not remembered by your browser.
Make it easier for other people to find solutions, by marking my answer with \'Accept as Solution\' if it solves your problem.

  • I want to disable auto log-out

I have a Mac Air OS 10.9.5.  Normally, when I it is either idle for a time or I close the computer, it goes into sleep mode  (but it does NOT quit all applications and log out) and requires a password to use it again -- that's the way I want it.
But sometimes, it when it goes idle or I shut it, it logs out or there is a count-down to logging out that I need to cancel when I come back in.  Although I DO want to have to key in my password, I don't want to have to log back in because when it logs out, it quits all my applications.
How do I retain the password function while disabling the auto-log-out function?

    From the menu bar, select
               ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Security & Privacy
If there's a closed padlock icon in the lower left corner of the preference pane, click it and enter your login password when prompted.
Click the Advanced button and, in the sheet that opens, uncheck the box marked
Log out after … minutes of inactivity

  • How do you log out?

How do you log out of a forum? Is it at all possible?
Seems I am logged in to any forum I go to if I switch between different ones, even ones I never previously used to be a member of. So am I now a member of all existing forums just because I logged in?
I've actually been a member of several Adobe forums since 2002, but today they all consider me a new member who only joined today and gave me a screenname I  haven't used for quite some time. Not funny.

Actually, it could be a lot simpler.  The system could add who you are replying to automatically.
But; if it isnt obvious to you; Im not going to be able to convince you.
Curt, please listen to me. First off, pointing out that some new features do not seem to be an improvement doesn't put me in dinosaur territory.
Second, even if we added an extra 'feature' of telling me who is being replied to, that doesn't tell me what they said. To know that I'd have to start jumping back and forth. If I don't even realise that an apparent non sequitur is because a person is replying to something a couple of pages back - because they are using threaded view - that's a recipe for confusion.
Before, if we needed to reply to a post some way back, we'd swipe through the relevant text - as more than one post was visible when replying, another new annoyance - add a greater than symbol, paste and carry on.
How do you think people will react if they've never been here before, have no clue about what threaded/flat views even are?
I don't particularly like threaded view, partly because of the ever-shrinking width, but I'd live with it if everyone used it.
If I insisted on living in the past I'd still be using Pagemaker or Quark and Pagemill - but you don't have to lose your critical faculties every time someone waves something new and shiny in front of your eyes.

  • I created a new Apple ID for iCloud on my iPhone, but I can't seem to find a way to "sign out" or "log out" of that Apple ID (for iCloud) to sign in with another Apple ID. The only account login I could change was the Store. How do I "log out"

I created a new Apple ID for iCloud on my iPhone, but I can't seem to find a way to "sign out" or "log out" of that Apple ID (for iCloud) to sign in with another Apple ID. The only account login I could change was the Store.
How do I "log out" or "sign out" of iCloud on my iPhone? There is an option to delete the account, but I just want to log off. I want to keep the account name for future use.

It looks like the article below has the information you are looking for.
    iCloud: Change iCloud feature settings
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2613
    Turn off iCloud completely
Depending on whether you want to stop using iCloud on all or only some devices, do one or more of the following:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.
Note:   If you delete your iCloud account, iCloud will no longer back up your iOS data. You can still back up your device in iTunes (for more information, open iTunes and choose iTunes > Help).
On your Mac, open iCloud preferences, then click Sign Out.
If your Mac has OS X v10.7.5 and you turn off iCloud, your calendar information and reminders aren’t stored locally in iCal. If you want to retain your calendar and reminder information, you need to back it up before turning off iCloud. For more information, see the Apple Support article iCloud: Calendar & reminder data removed from Calendar and Reminders or iCal when disabling iCloud Calendar.
On your Windows computer, open the iCloud Control Panel, then click Sign Out.
Note:   If you turned on automatic download of music, app, or book purchases (in iTunes preferences or in Settings on your iOS device), your iTunes purchases are still downloaded to your devices.
Set up iCloud on your devices

  • I have 2 iphones, one for personal and one for business.  I need my phones not to sync otherwise they will both ring all the time.  How can I log out of my icloud and unsync my phones?

I have 2 iphones, one for personal and one for business.  I need my phones not to sync otherwise they will both ring all the time.  How can I log out of my icloud and unsync my phones?

Syncing your phones to the same iCloud account won't cause them to both ring all the time, it only puts the same contacts, calendars, and other synced data on the phone.  The phones will only ring with someone calls the number associated with the phone.
If you want to stop using iCloud on one or both of the phones, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then choose Keep On My iPhone when prompted.  This will disconnect them from iCloud and keep a copy of the synced data on the phone.

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back.  You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.
