How to automatically activate dam resources indirectly relatived to a pages when it is activated ?

Hi,
As we create a page, some images are included dynamiclly(image's path is generated programmatically in templates), so when we activate
this page, in the assent pick list, these images could not be shown there. I want to know how to activate the page with these images programmatically.

Thanks a lot.
Yes, we sure that the very same images are used on publish.
All of those images are stored in node separated from pages.
In these pages we can't write them as properties because those images are managed separated,
we only kown the folder where those images are stored.

    (display 500 records ) but I don t have the logic to do this only with methods of CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
    can you tell me a standard method of CL_GUI_ALV_GRID witch can help me do this?? any hint will be good..
    Till now I was used to add a column to my structure witch represents a flag that is a number corresponding to every 500 records (a batch containing 500 records )
    first       500 - flag -> 1
    second  500 - flag -> 2
    etc..but I m convinced that exists a way of doing this more easy..without damaging my structure..

    if method SET_FILTER_CRITERIA doesn´t help, I think that you must work with 2 internal tables, a counter and a loop for filtering the records to be displayed:
    case counter.
      when 1.
         loop at int_table1 from 1 to 500.      "<-- your table with all records
           move int_table1 to int_table2
        endloop.
      when 2.
         loop at int_table1 from 501 to 1000.     
           move int_table1 to int_table2
        endloop.
    etc, etc.
    Call grid-->SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY
       exporting
         IT_OUTTAB = int_table2                "<-- instead of your currently table int_table1

  • How to automate a redundant task on PC to "Include Prefix when Numbering Pages"

    I work in book publishing and we're generating indices using the book feature. The big problem is that for the print version we need the folios styled a certain way "without a prefix" but to create our index in the book feature, the prefix needs to be turned on.
    Is there any way to do any kind of drag and drop so I don't have to open every chapter of the file to turn the prefix on? Though it doesn't take long, it's repetitive and has to be done every time we update our books. (The "Section Prefix" information is alreay inserted, it's just a matter of toggling it on or off depending on what doing in the InD file.)
    I do not write scripts. It seems like a simple task but would take me months to figure out. If you can send me to someone who can figure out how to automate this task, I would greatly appreciate your help.
    Macgrunt was able to help me but then I realized I was on a PC. Is this something that can be done in Javascript?

    Well, as a very crude test you can set your authentication scheme to be Application Express Authenticationand define some users in Apex. Then create a before header login process on the login page (101) to automatically logon containing:
    apex_authentication.login(
        p_username => :P101_USERNAME,
        p_password => :P101_PASSWORD );
    :P101_PASSWORD := NULL;conditional on P101_PASSWORD is not null.
    Then you can login by specifying your username and password in the URL e.g.
    f?p=YOURAPP:LOGIN:::::P101_USERNAME,P101_PASSWORD:username,password

    The ONLY way is to go onto your account in the music store and hit the "Deauthorize ALL" button. This option is not to be taken lightly. The button only appears once a year so say you use it today Aug 24th 2006. It will not appear til Aug 24th 2007 even if you reach the max of 5 before that date

  • How can I activate Dreamweaver CS3 on a second Apple Mac when the original Mac has gone wrong?

    I have Dreamweaver CS3.
    I have used it on my laptop and my desktop Macs.
    In the past, I have simply deactivated it on one Mac to use it on the other.
    My laptop, which has Dreamweaver activated on it, has a graphics card problem and is in for repair.
    I cannot use the Dreamweaver installed on my desktop computer because I cannot de-activate it on the laptop (which is being repaired by Apple and which Apple say they can't access to de-activate it, because there is no screen display).
    This is obviously going to be a future problem if one of the Macs blows up while Dreamweaver is activated on it. I will not be able to use the Dreamweaver I bought nor service my website.
    Help! ?

    You could always download the trial version until the laptop is fixed. But, I don't know if you can even save a file from CS5 that would be compatible in 3.  It is sucky to not have the single user, two activation license. This is one of the things I applaud Adobe for. Most major software licenses are meant for a single machine, and not so concerned about users - that they know it's unlikely that several users would share a machine.it does happen, but it's also quite an inconvenience.  The two activation solution takes into account a more realistic scenario for a single user. The other option being used with some programs is the dongle, which I also like, even though many others don't for various and valid reasons. Anyway, I just looked at a page in cs4 and it doesn't really save in any particular version, HTML is HTML. I just don't know what will happen if someone goes to open it in CS3 - will it open less any CS4 code, not open, erase the code on save? Will it be the same for 5? Just wondering as you may be able to use the trial.

    I did the following, but it didnt work....
    1) Created a hidden item on the page, and in the Default Value field, I set the value to N.
    2) Created a button in the report with the following values under "Optional URL Redirect":
    Target is a: Page in this application
    Page: 4
    Set these items: P1_SHOW_FORM
    With these values: Y
    3) Created a form of HTML text type with the following values under "Conditional Display":
    Condition Type: Request=Expression 1
    Expression 1: P1_SHOW_FORM='Y'
    What have I done wrong or have i missed something?

    Dear Firefox,
    After an embarrassing amount of frustration, I was able to sync my bookmarks from my desk top PC, to my new MacbookAir...so proud of me :) All of my 690 bookmarks are on my Macbook.
    On my desk top PC, when I open Firefox, all of my bookmarks are immediately visible on the left side of my Firefox homepage which is yahoo.com. I would LOVE to have this identical manner of opening Firefox on my Macbook and seeing the bookmarks in their various folders, all on the left side of my opening homepage. As of now, I have to go to the top of my Firefox homepage and tap on "bookmarks"....I'm glad they are all there, but it would be awesome to have them displayed without the extra step.     Thank you mha007, your suggestion has always been my "go to" when I was using my PC. Maybe I'm too "green" when it comes to my first Apple lap top....It didn't work for me when I clicked ....but here's what I ended up doing...I played....on my Macbook, I simply went to the very top Firefox bar. I went to "View", and scrolled to "Sidebar". Within "Sidebar", I clicked on "bookmarks"....and voila, it worked like a charm.
    P.S. Guess what! Because of you I just tried something. On my Macbook, there is no CTRL button....there is a button that says the full word "control", and that's what I used along with "B"....it doesn't work. I just tried my Macbook button that says "command", and then tried the "B"....WOW, how easy was that....it worked! Thank you for responding to my post.

    In iPhoto I am exporting a slide show in the display (size) 1280x800, the original images in the slide show are 600 dpi @ 11" x 8.96". I am using iPhoto 11 Version 9.4.2 on my MacBook Pro OSX version 10.8.2. I am using a wipe transition with a total slide show length of about 17 minutes long with about 96 images. The Display.m4v is 543.8 MB. The slide show is crystal clear when played before downloading to a movie, but once it is in a movie format it is no longer clear. What else can I tell you?

    600 dpi @ 11" x 8.96"
    600 x 11 = 66,000 pixels and you're reducing them to 1280...

I was wondering if there is a way to create a generic template in InDesign that, when updated, would also update all the pages made from it. The behavior I am looking for is similar to the way Dreamweaver does templates... when you create a new page, you can tell it to make the page from the already created template. That template has been pre-configured with editable regions. Anything outside the editable regions cannot be modified unless editing the template directly.
    Does this functionality exist in InDesign? I am running CS5.
