How to automatically initialize Firefox immediately after installation
I am installing Firefox from the Fedora YUM repositories via Kickstart. After installation, the .mozilla directory and its subdirectories do not exist. Although I have the Firefox configuration files I want to install, I don't have a place to put them. And since Firefox seems to create a .mozilla/firefox/*default directory with a random name, I can't easily just create the directory and then insert my files. Is there a way to make this fully automatic?

I am trying to setup a network interface with the following steps on a new fresh Solaris 10 installation using the instruction titled How to Add a Physical Interface After Installation in Solaris 10 3/05 ONLY from http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19253-01/816-4554/esxhb/index.html:
1. # ifconfig lo0 plumb up
2. # ifconfig lo0 10.56.8.101 netmask 255.255.240.0. This was the working Windows DHCP environment prior to installing Solaris
10 on top of it.
3. # Added saturn to /etc/hostname.lo0.
4. # Added 10.56.8.101 to /etc/inet/hosts
5. # Added 10.56.0.0 255.255.240.0 to /etc/inet/netmasks
6.# reboot
However, the following errors kept recurring:
svcs –xv …. unable to qualify my own domain name,
failed with exit status 69.
Any idea on what other steps have I missed? I was hoping to only do step 3 – 6 for the change to apply permanently.

1. # ifconfig lo0 plumb upThe loopback connection (your lo0)is NOT a physical interface. There are no hardware components for it. Nor can I think of any reason why it should ever be anything other than the default 127.0.0.1
Use your favorite Internet search site (such as Google, Bing, Yahoo) to learn more about it.
2. # ifconfig lo0 10.56.8.101 netmask 255.255.240.0. This was the working Windows DHCP environment ...I have no idea how a nonexistent software construct gets a DHCP address in a MS Operating System, unless you are confusing this with the "Microsoft Loopback Adapter" which is an utterly different concept. Again, go see what Google tells you.

Hi,
In order to have a new version of a java class, the current classloader must be
deleted and a new one created. This is what redeployment does. I believe that
this is more of an issue with Sun's implementation of classloaders. You could
ask BEA support (719.232.7878) and see if they have any plans to periodically
check jar files to see if java class file timestamps and destroy and re-create
classloaders on the fly.
1) You will still have to accept the performance hit of destroying classloaders
and creating new ones. There isn't any way around that.
2) I would think you would want to have more explicit control in production and
integration anyway.
You can redeploy applications from the command line (script) file not just the
console.

OTR CREATION IN BATCH MODE / AUTOMATIC "CIF" CUSTOMER IMMEDIATELY AFTER CREATION IN ECC
Dear All,
My scenario is: We have a Web dynpro customized screen for Customer Creation and Sales Order creation in SAP ECC. This screen first send data to CRM where Customer is created and Customer code is flowing back to my screen immediately. Using this Customer Code, Sales order is created from the same screen using standard BAPI.
Now as per standard behavior, data will be sent to TM immediately after sales order creation for OTR creation, where it will fail as customer created was not CIFed to TM. So as per my understanding, my issue can be resolved by any of the following ways:
Option 1) Automatic CIF customer at the time of Customer Creation: By this if customer will automatically CIFed to TM immediately after the customer is created in ECC through CRM, then there will be no issue even in creating OTR immediately after Sales order creation.
OR
Option 2) Creating OTR in batch mode instead of immediately after Sales Order Creation: By this I can first CIF Customer to TM in Batch JOB and then subsequently OTR will be created in Batch Job.
Please suggest more feasible option out of two options mentioned above and also how to achieve the same?

Running Windows XP on Sony Vaio laptop, which seems to meet system requirements. There is no error message, nothing happens when trying to open application.
Try to use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.
It is possible that Firefox fails to close properly and that there is a hanging Firefox or plugin-container process showing in the Windows Task Manager.

I installed Solaris 10 withouth choosing to add Norwegian locale. I really don`t care for Norwegian messages, but it seems that X will not let me choose norwegian keyboard layout if I don`t install the Norwegian locale. My question is: How do I install the Norwegian locale after initial installation?
locale -a gives me:

iso_8859_1
And I guess I need no_NO.If you are using a graphics terminal you may want to try using the "prodreg" utility, as root?, to add en_US support. It appears to involve numerous packages, at least for 64 bit support.

Can't initialize the recorder after installation?
i have installed the OATS 9.0 in the win64-bit system, while it start the recorder always get the error message " Cannot get a connection from helper after 15 seconds".

We have a Virtual Machine as our test server that installed the OAT and on that Virtual machine we had created a Repository folder. I was able to record the script in that folder early today when I logged into the server to test out the installation.
I now have a problem on my local machine when I try to open the script that I created early today. I got a message saying that I did not have enough privillege to modify the script although I was granted full access to the repository. It seems to me that the script was owned by a certain user and different user can't open and modify it. How can I share the scripts so that each user can access and modify the script? Is there any configuration I miss out? Do I have to be an admin on my local machine to be able to open the scripts stored in Repository?

How to automatically turn off leds after 1 minute/button press
I need help on how to turn off my LEDs 1 minute after my program starts or when the stop button is pressed.. I tried putting a while loop over the LEDs but it doesn't work.. Also the score automatically resets after 1 minute.. how do I maintain the score while turning off the LEDs? thanks.

How to view the changes immediately after a jsp is modified?
Hi All,
How can I modify a JSP and view the changes immediately
without packing a war and deploying again.
The JSP may reference a tag library.
And also, I don't want to register the compiled jsp class
as servlet class in web.xml because there are hundreds of
jsp files.
Then, how can I do this to save the development time.
Any suggestion is appreciated.

Hi Kammau,
the next thing you should do is:
- create a standard EAR (jar, not "exploded"), with application.xml,
manifest entries, etc.
- try to deploy. If you can't deploy this way, you still have some
problems which have nothing to do with the jsp-reload-thing. Solve them
first. (You can ask us, of course)
- if it works, try to deploy the EAR "exploded" with "exploded" WAR in it.
- if that works, try the jsp-reload.

How do I initialize an array after getting xml data via httpservice?
I am having a problem trying to initialize an array with data from an external xml file obtained via httpservice. Any help/direction would be much appreciated. I am using Flex 4 (Flash Builder 4).

I am using this following Tour de Flex example as the base -http://www.adobe.com/devnet-archive/flex/tourdeflex/web/#docIndex=0;illustIndex=1;sampleId =70500
and updating it with the httpservice call and result handler. But I cannot get the data to appear - I get [object Object] instead. In my result handler code I use "icdcodesar = new Array(event.result.Root.Row);" and then "icdcodesar.refresh();".
The key question is: How to I get data from an external xml file into an array without getting [object Object] when referencing the array entries. Thanks much!

How to I keep Firefox installed, after shutting down or restarting computer?
After a successful install, I use Firefox, all is great. Problem is, when I shut down, or restart computer, all shortcuts, start menu Firefox, etc. no longer work, and icons are all windows icons, and all the shortcuts, etc. say files had been moved. I uninstall, restart coomputer,install again, successfully, and, same thing again. I am having to uninstall/install everytime I am restarting computer. Is there something I am suppose to check or uncheck after installing? Like compatibility mode, or something? My os is vista home premium 64bit. This happened the first time and everytime.

How do you restore Firefox Bookmarks after an OS overlay for Windows2000?
Second time system has been crashed by power interruption. First time, the OS overlay "fix" solved the problem and everything was still there regarding bookmarks when the Firefox browser was reinstalled. This time, the OS overlay looks like it swiped everything on Firefox. The folders are still on the hard drive but now I have a Firefox and a Firefox II folders but only one active profile that matches what the articles say I would find. The one "places. sqlite" file I can see from troubleshooting is 10 MB big...that's got to be the old bookmarks, so how do I make it active in this latest copy of Firefox that had to be re-installed again from the actual Mozilla website?
I'm not certain what it was as it wasn't really a system restore nor was it a legitimate reformatting process. It seemed to delete everything except emergency backing up of some files that I was allowed to select. I could see the file names and locations but while halfway, I accidentally started the process halfway and it started the process. I could've turned it off but I knew better than to turn off a computer in a vulnerable state. Better to get some data and limit the mistakes.
It wasn't really a recovery, the computer was going into the blue screen and wouldn't boot into the start up menus, etc so I'm lucky that I was able to salvage most of the files with the built in emergency backup. I'm lucky because the last time I had another computer that died and I couldn't salvage a single file and there were thousands of files and bookmarks on it!
A good lesson learned, always backup and be ready to expect the unexpected! I tried the recuva program and it wasn't that thorough and I couldn't find my files. Thanks! -

I am downloading multiple html files and converting them to pdf files. Adobe Pro Create command or the command line when right-clicking in a web browser for Adobe will convert a html file to pdf but also opens them. How do I automatically close them to a designated folder?
