How to avaoid the respawn
Hi All,
I have started my processes through SMF functionality.
It gets started successfully.
But when I kill my processes, it¡¦s getting restarted. But in Solaris 9 and below if I kill it will not get restarted.
In Solaris 10 it should not get restarted ¼
How can I perform the operation similar to Solaris 10 and below?
Please help me in solving this issue.

In Solaris 10 it should not get restarted Is it started with an /etc/rc?.d script in Solaris 9? If so then copy the script to Solaris 10 and remove it from SMF or disable it in SMF. SMF uses a master restarter which hunts for and restarts failed processes.
You might want to check the SMF docs to see if this can disable on a per service basis.

How to avoid the page to move up when I click the button on the Tableview?
Hi, EP fellows.
I currently have 3 tableViews and 1 header form set in one jsp page (I know, it may not be a good design to put three tableView in one jsp page.....but for the sake of avoiding client side eventing between each tableViews..I combined them into one jsp page). I set the Load/Navigation value to be URL.
Here is the problem. Everytimes I click on the Navigation button (Up/Down) to navigate the tableView data to another page, the whole page will move up and away from the table that I navigating.
I know it is bacause the page get refreshed, and go to the first item of the page. In this case, how do I avaoid the page to move up and away form the tableView? As it is really look bad when user click on the button, they have to scroll back to the tableView they click.

KentAs far as i remember,this javascript function pops user a dialog to save a file:
javascript: document.execCommand('SaveAs','1',null);
But i m not sure will it pop up for pdf, just try to google javascript to save a pdf file.

i have three input fields and one search button in my main window. when i click search button it should display popup window.whenever i click on selected row of the popup window table ,values should be visible in my main window input fields.(normal tables)

Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component.So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.

3. Then while calling the FM,
pass this parameter also .

How to register the recipient when create job by function
I am now use JOB_OPEN , JOB_SUBMIT and JOB_CLOSE to create a job in the program. And need to post the result of the report to the person by email.
Can you tell me how to register the recipient when create the job.

How to use the same POWL query for multiple users

I have defined a POWL query which executes properly. But if I map the same POWL query to 2 portal users and the 2 portal users try to access the same page simultaneously then it gives an error message to one of the users that
"Query 'ABC' is already open in another session."
where 'ABC' is the query name.
Can you please tell me how to use the same POWL query for multiple users ?

SandhyaBatch processing usually involves using actions you have recorded. In Action you can insert Path that can be used during processing documents. Path have some size so you may want to only process document that have the same size. Look in the Actions Palette fly-out menu for insert path. It inserts|records the current document work path into the action being worked on and when the action is played it inserts the path into the document as the current work path..

ThanksMake sure you donot have any data in cube. If you have some data in cube, then you will not be able to see Delete option.
Right click on the cube-->Delete data.
Then double click on the cube>Goto Edit mode> select the IO under that Dimension> right click> now you will be able to see the Delete option (provided you have deleted all the date from Cube)
Then right click on Dimension-->Delete

Step 3: Press Shift +F6 (Or Click on the Assign Button, next to the Pencil icon)

ADF Desktop Integration : How to delete the table in Excel?
Hi,
I am using Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 and Excel 2007 for Oracle ADF DI, I had created an ADF table using pageDef file in the excel. Now I wanted to delete that table and use a different pageDef file.
I could not find a way to delete that table.
I deleted full row of tables and then I used different pageDef file and created a new adf table. But when I am running this version of excel, I am getting runtime exception and excel is getting corrupted.
My question how to delete the table not corrupting the Excel.

You can delete the table by selecting the top left column (of the table) and then select delete from the ADFdi tab.

If you want to delete the rows in the table control and simultaneously delete it from the database table, then you can implement a 'DELETE' functionality specific to your table control. Have a MARK field (you will find that in the screen attributes of the table control -> give a name for the MARK field, you will find an additional MARK column at the beginning of your table control). You can check whatever rows you want to delete from the table control, call the delete module.

Those are the data of the installed apps. Don't listen if someone says that it's an iOS, because it is not. On your iPhone, go to general > usage. It will show you all the programs installed on your iPhone. If you click any of them you will see how much of "others" it has (documents and data)
There's no way to delete it if you want to still have those apps. You can reinstal those which has the most "others" but after some time of usage, it will raise again. -

I am a newbie of XML, I have a exercise which is creating a Tree View from XML file. But the trouble is I do not know how to read the content in one node of XML file. I decide to use the algorithm as following:

I've requirement, in one dimension, needs to build the one level1 member as level0 in essbase.

Kiranthere's no such functionality in EAL to create Essbase outlines based on levels. the only workaround to this is to use Mapping tables:
1- create the dimension in essbase with the desired HFM level 1 members as level 0.
2- set this specific dimension to mapping in your design grid within your EAL Bridge
3- create the SQL Mapping table and start mapping those members from HFM to Essbase.
