How to avoid printing an additional blank page at the end of the report

I have a report which has 3 panels in the main section of the report, about 3 pages in size. 1st & 2nd panels are enclosed in a repeating frame, and 3rd panel in a different repeating frame.
The vertical panels per page in the property inspector of the main section of the report is kept as 2. And thus, when I am printing the report I am getting an additional blank page at the end. Also I tried to make the vertical panels per page to 1 in the property inspector for main section but the following error is being returned:
REP-0801: Layout canvas must remain large enough to fit all layout objects
Can anyone tell me how to handle this?

I too faced similar prob.
But when i made the After Page Value property of the report as blank it removed the blank page for me .

Hi All,
I am printing out a content of a web dynpro view as a non modal external window with the browser print functionality.
Even if the content of the web dynpro view is not more than the half of a page the browser print functionality prints 2 pages. The second page is a blank page.
I tried to change the external window size in web dynpro, but it is still printing 2 pages.
How can I set / configure the browser print functionality, so it prints only the page that contains the web dynpro view content?

Hi,
I'm guessing the concurrent program is outputting text (character mode) as opposed to PDF?
This could be a number of reasons:
1. Printer driver issue, e.g. the number of lines printed on the page is more than is defined for the printer driver: Try reducing the "Rows" on the current program definition
2. Printer PRT issue, extra page break could be being inserted.
3. The "box" in the report definition containing the address could be being expanding due to the extra address line, but not enough space so it forces a new page to be printed.

Hello Experts,
Can anyone please let me know as how to avoid/delete the blank page at the end of adobe form output.
I have a master page with header n footer and a body page seperate.
For ex.. I have 3 line items and i want each line item to be displayed in the new page. I am able to get this functionality . I have set the settings in the paginationb tab of the subform as
"after " Go to Next content Area" " but an extra page is getting printed at the end. 3 + 1 extra pages total. I want to avoid this blank page. I have checked the Allow page break with in content box but it is still not working.
Can someone guide me as how to solve this problem.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

hey mahesh,
this normally happens because of triggering a new page manually, what u would have done is that you would be checking for the new line item and when this condition is satisfied , you are triggering a new page , the reason for the last blank page is that the condition gets satisfied ( beacuse the line item number changes from the last line item no to initial or space).
This can be handled by doing the following
By knowing the number of line items by the following stmt.
describe table itab lines v_lines.
Now you have the value in v_lines.
use a counter in ur form and keep it increasing it by 1 ( say v_sno ) ie v_sno = v_sno + 1 in the loop of ur internal table.
ONLY WHEN V_LINES IS LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO V_SNO , TRIGGER THE NEW PAGE
this should be along with the condition which u have already put, ie when ever line item no changes
when both these conditions are satisfied , then only the new page will be triggered.

I might make a wild guess that you are using WORD and have used hard page breaks. If that is the case, then likely what happens is when you print to PDF the document is being reflowed to match the printer and the forced page break may end up on the next page and be forcing a second page. Just a guess.

How do I print a newsletter in Pages?

I have read many Q & As about printing booklets and that Cocoa Booklet is the best way to go. I would like to print a newsletter on 11X17 paper. I used one of the newsletter templates to create a Homeowners Association newsletter. I tried to print 2 (8.5X11) pages side by side on the 11X17 paper and it shrinks each page to 4.5X6.25. I tried using Cocoa, but it seems to only make small booklets. How can I keep each page 8.5X11 and print 2 pages side by side on the front side of the paper and 2 pages side by side on the back side of the paper. Thanks

I did a search and found this which seemed right on the money.
Use Cocoa Booklet to create a booklet with any number of pages (best in a multiple of 4). Create your Pages document in Letter-size as normal & then Export the Pages document to a PDF. Launch Cocoa Booklet & open its Preferences. In Paper Size set the Paper Format to "Personnalisé" with the Width 17 x Height 11 (measuring unit is set in a drop-down menu at the lower left of this preference window. Leave the default margins. In the Destination preference, select Yes for Add a suffix? to avoid overwriting your original PDF & click Save. The choices in the Options preferences are all left unchecked for your tabloid-size document. Then drag the PDF to the icon of Cocoa Booklet to will create a new PDF in booklet form.
I think I followed it exactly. I still printed 2 pages side by side that measured 4.5X6.25 not 2 pages that measure 8.5 by 11. I must be doing something wrong. I have spent all day working on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hp envy 4501 does't print just leaves blank pages

I can see by your post here that after installing a new cartridge the printer is producing blank pages. I should be able to provide useful information for locating a fix so you can get printing your essay!
If it is the cartridge causing the problem and you need to get that essay printed and out of the way. The printer works on a single cartridge mode. This means if you remove the problem cartridge then the printer can use one cartridge to print. The black cartridge will print grey scale and the tricolour will mix colors to make black.
Does this blank page only happen when printing from the computer?
The first thing you will want to check when getting a print quality issue is to perform a stand alone copy on the printer. To perform a stand alone copy please follow the link for Copy Text or Mixed Documents. this will let you know if the issue is related to the printer hardware or the computer software.
If the copy IS blank then please follow the document for Printer Prints a Blank Page or Does Not Print Black or Color Ink for the HP ENVY 4500 and Deskjet In...
If the document prints WITHOUT quality issues then you are likely looking at a software problem within the computer. If that is the case, for me to provide relevant troubleshooting steps I will need you to provide me with some info on the computer. What operating system your computer is running (ex. Windows or Mac). If you are running Windows please provide the bit version of Windows (ex.Windows 7 32-bit or Windows 7 64-bit.)

Hp photosmart 6510 printing and photocopying blank pages even after putting in new ink cardridges

Hi there, can anyone help?
My photosmart 6510 has recently started printing and photocopying blank pages. The ink cardridges were low and I have replaced them with new ones. I have cleaned the printer head and the test comes out in colour.
I have no idea what to do other than buy a new one !
Any advice appreciated.

I'd like to help. Please begin with the steps in the following document; Printer Prints a Blank Page or Does Not Print Black or Color Ink for the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage an... < this applies to the 6510, and 6515 too.
If you complete, or have already completed all of the steps in the document above and the issue continues, my own personal recommendation, not one of HPs, is to use the solution offered in the following video. I only suggest doing this if the printer is out of warranty; How to fix a HP Printer, not printing black ink and missing colours

Printing an extra blank page at last in the report with result!

Dear Team,
I have one report ZFI_KKKKK i.e working fine with the result.
The problem is that this report prints an extra blank page in the end of the report.
It should not print the extra empty page. Itu2019s a bit annoying for some users.
If you execute and print this and you will get a page with results and a blank page with just the title.
Any input from your side to rectify the issue?

How can I print directly out of Pages on my iPad?

How can I print directly out of Pages on my iPad if my Brother printer is not airprint compatible? I currently have a Brother MFC-J615W and have downloaded the Brother iPrint app; but that only works with pictures and PDFs it seems. I know I can use the cloud to transfer and just print from my macbook, but I am starting school and would love to cut out that middle step if possible. I know... how lazy is that? But I feel like I should be able to make it work with a little ingenuity. Thanks for any info you can provide.

If it is the HP Deskjet 1510, this is a USB printer and it does not offer any network capabilities.

How to avoid printing of void cheques

Hi Friends,
In the check printing program FBZ5, whenever there are more than 25 line items, the first two cheques are getting cancelled and the third cheque is getting printed and thereby wasting the first two cheques.
I would like to know, how to avoid printing of such cancelled cheques.

you can use like this when you r going to FBZ5 tcode in the right hand side there is a tab called Output Control, there if you check the test print out it ll give you this result
Indicator: Test Print
If you select this indicator, the print program carries out a test print (for purposes of fine-tuning the printer output) before printing the actual payment media.
so before taking the original print out you can able to understand which is going to be cancel and which one is going to print .

3 new computers at work print incomplete or blank pages

we got 3 new computers at work with windows 7. The computers we already had have windows 7 also. We have a konica minolta fax, printer, scanner, copier that we print too. Everything the 3 computers print comes out fine, except when I log into citrix so I can log into Microsoft Outlook when I print an attachment from my email that is opened with Adobe Reader it prints incomplete and blank pages. Incomplete meaning that different parts of the document are missing. Now if I print an attachment that isn't adobe it prints fine. I have updated, reinstalled, went from 11 to 10(which is what everyone else had), made it print as an image. I called our IT department and they are not helping. Can someone help me? This makes my job so much more difficult seeing as I am in medical records and need to print documents that are sent to me.

The last 2/3 of my 430-page PDF file are blank. The pages are numbered at the correct position but there is no content visible. Just got a new computer with Microsoft Wndows 7 and a new Adobe Reader XI. This same document worked fine before I changed computers.

Printer sends extra blank pages

I have an HP all in one Photosmart C7280. Recently, the printer started sending a blank page after ever printed page. This happens whether I am sending a single page document or a multipage document. It happens whether I am printing from any of my software products or from a downloading web document.
Any ideas??

This may be overly simplistic, or not apply.
The same thing has happened to me in the past within office, and I realized what was happening. If I was to create a document, and thereafter remove text, I would get a blank page as supplemental to the printed one. What I realized was that I needed to set the cursor at the end of the text, and delete everything beyond. This way, in some instances, I had one less page than I started with, and the printer only produced pages with text and no extra. I don't know if this will help you or not. I'm waiting for someone to help me with my issue and happened to run across yours. Good luck either way.
