How to avoid reference errors in SAXParser?

Hi,
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The entity "MyExternalEntity" was referenced, but not declared.
can someone tell me how to tell SAXParser to just ignore the entity refernces it finds while parsing, any workaround?

here is what i tried. i still get the same problem you had in the beginning though. namely, "org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Reference to undefined entity "•""
