How to avoid Room Part folder while adding Room Part?

Dear friends,
When i add new Room Parts in the Room Maintenance, it add the room part with the folder.
Is there anyway where i can avoid the folder to be displayed and only the part link to displayed.

I'm also looking for a solution to this. I've tried some fancy stuff that I though should work - configuring the Room Part Workset as a 'Leaf Folder' and then setting the page underneath as 'Invisible in Navigation' and as the 'Default Entry for Folder'. This works properly in the normal DTN, but it seems like the rooms use a special DTN that incorporates some additional logic, and does not understand the 'Leaf Folder'. It displays the workset as a page, but then when you click on it, a blank page shows up in the content area and the DTN does not select the just selected node. If I had to guess, SAP forked the code and created a similar looking/functioning DTN specifically for Collaboration Rooms, but did not include all bug fixes or features.

I might be missing something to configure or verify but many times I have faced below situation :
When I click on document in document library either its just opens or first save to disc and open.
When I check in a document , its asking for credentials but sometimes doesn't
Can anyone please describe the reason behind above behaviors ? how to avoid saving doc while opening and lo-gin prompt while check in the document?

How to avoid line break ( br ) while exporting Interactive report in Excel

I have defined some of the column heading in multiple line using break 
when I export this into the excel sheet..the column heading contains break also..
- Any idea how to avoid line break while exporting in excel.
- also how to put the columns heading in BOLD when exported in excel.

what is the solution to avoid extra trailing spaces without any java code change.
do we have any option in oracle to avoid extra trailing spaces during the query processing ?
I am using Oracle 10g
CURSOR SHARING is a feature in which multiple sql statements
which are same will have a shared cursor (in the library cache) for an oracle session,
i.e, the first three steps of the sql processing (hard parse, soft parse, optimization)
will be done only the first time that kind of statement is executed.
There are two ways in which similar SQL statements with different condition values can be made to "SHARE" cursor during execution:
1. Writing SQLs with Bind Variables: SQLs having no hard coded literals in them
For e.g., the query below
SELECT node.emp_name AS configid
FROM emp node
WHERE emp_no = :1
AND dept_no =
DECODE (SUBSTR (:2, 1, 3),
:3, :4,
(SELECT MAX (dept_no)
FROM emp
WHERE emp_no = :5 AND dept_no <= :6)
AND node.dept_type = :7
ORDER BY node.emp_name
Here all the variables are dynamically bound during the execution. The ":X" represents BIND Variable and the actual values are bound to the SQL only at the 4th step of the execution of the SQL.
In applications: The queries written with "?" as bind variables will be converted into ":X" and are sqls with Bind Variables.
2. The CURSOR_SHARING parameter: Only Useful for SQL statements containing literals:
For eg., the query below:

WHERE emp_no = 'H200'

DECODE (SUBSTR (:1, 1, 3),
'PLN', :2,
(SELECT MAX (dept_no)
FROM emp

In the query above, there are two hard coded literals H200 , PLN. In this case when the same SQL executed with different values like (H2003 , PLN), oracle will create a new cursor for this statement and all the first three steps ( hard & soft parse and optimization plan) needs to be done again.
This can be avoided by changing the CURSOR_SHARING parameter which can be set to any of three values:
1. EXACT: Causes the mechanism not be used, i.e. no cursor sharing for statements with different literals. This is the default value.
2. FORCE: Causes unconditional sharing of SQL statements that only differ in literals.
3. SIMILAR: Causes cursor sharing to take place when this is known not to have any impact on optimization.
So, FORCE and SIMILAR values of the parameter will be helping in cursor sharing and improve the performance of the SQLs having literals.
But here the problem arises if we use the FORCE and SIMILAR other than EXACT.

So, this will give extra trailing spaces in when we retrieve from java method and any
further java processing based on the hardcoded literal values will fail. this needs lot of
effort in remodifying the existing millions of lines of code.
My question is i have to use cursor sharing with FORCE or SIMILAR and can't we do the trimming
from the oracle query processing level ?
please help me on this ?

How to move Mobile Applications folder while sharing an Itunes library

For reasons that would be long and hard to explain, I decided some times ago to open a second user on my Book Pro dedicated to my music collection. The collection required to be stored on an external HDD, so the second user's Itunes folder links to a folder where all music is stored, and I put it with all library files (xml etc) in the Shared folder. Now I have decided to let the primary and mostly used user to share the same music of the secondary one. I easily succeeded in doing this, just simply opening the primary ITunes and ask it to link to the Itunes folder under the Shared folder. I have got my entire library also from the primary user, with covers and so on.
The trouble is that I use to manage an Iphone with the primary ITunes, and since I have not moved the Mobile Application folder (and what more?) into the shared ITunes folder, I cannot see anymore all data and applications into my IPhone section under ITunes, and I do not want to run experiments, doing a sync and just running the risk to lose all. How can I share the same ITunes library between two users, but to allow one of those still to see the IPhone data that was originally managed only from her ITunes, that now addresses to the ITunes folder under Shared folder that addresses to a HDD?.....

Still misspeaking. Further use reveals that while the users iTunes use the shared file, when the phones add new apps their iTunes recreates its iTunes Media directory in the users home folder. This time I can exit iTunes, move the apps to the shared Mobile Applications, delete and empty trash the original apps/ and folder, then the users iTunes will find the app in the shared folder when it restarts. Clearly not very tidy...

How do you create a folder while saving a bookmark?

While saving a bookmark I realize I need to create a new folder. How do you that? I don't see an option at all to create a folder on the fly.

Here is one way to do it.
Select "Add Bookmark" after clicking "Share" button.
"Add this page to:" box appears.
Click "Bookmarks" menu in the Safari menubar.
Select "Add Bookmarks Folder". A new window will open with "Untitled" folder created.
Name it and close the window.
Now the new folder will be available in "Add this page to:" dialog box.
Safari does not have an easier way to do this like some other browser can.

I don´t understand the connection between BAPI and the printing program. I guess - at least that is what I have done - is to generate the form when creating and invoice or something, then I could understand.
When you ask for GETPDF = 'X' then you always get the PDF data back and not the popup.
Or if you would like to display the print preview without a print settings popup. Or variants...

How to avoid Cost error log while confirming production order

I dont want to post actual activity cost via production order activity confirmation. But i want standard value keys for my production duration purpose. So,i defined activites(strd value key) in work center without assigning cost center to that work center. While i confirm system throws erro log as Actual cost calculation contain errors and allows me to confirm the activities. I am doing MB31 and all CO settlement activities also. But when i try to close the order it says error log exists,so closing of order is not possible. How to overcome this problem as i dont want to capture any cost of activites via production order,but i want confirmation only for production analysis.

You can make the operation not relevant for Costing by using a Customized Control key which is not relevant for Costing or else in the operation details you need to leave the "Costing relevancy" field blank.

Even after these settings I am getting prompt which asks printer name and other details.
Please tell me how I can avoid the prompt which asks printer name and other settings such as new spool request and print immediately.

How to avoid jerky zoom shift while shooting videos?

Hi!
Recently I purchased EOS 70D with kit lens (EF-S 18-55 STM) and tele-zoom (EF-S 55-250 STM). Both lenses give excellent result for still photos.
But while video shooting, I notice considerable jerk in the video due to adjustment in the zoom ring of the lenses. Less noticeable nuissance in the video if I make sudden turn of the zoom ring but very much noticeable while making slow & gradual shift on the zoom ring. Thus an inferior video result in comparison to cheaper cameras that have TELE / WIDE zoom buttons! As such the zoom ring is quite free to rotate & no mechanical defect on the lens body.
Any suggestioins please?

In professional video they REALLY RESIST the urge to "zoom" while shooting. I wont say it's "never" done... it is, but it's something that should be done sparingly as zooming in general is very distracting.
If you want a professional result, you can pre-plan focus changes and zoom changes prior to shooting the clip.
Pro videographers will go far as to wrap a piece of masking or gaffers tape around the lens ring, and put marks on focus or zoom positions (which were pre-tested before the shot). When they're ready to perform the zoom or focus change, they can visually look at the marks and do a smoother transition from one mark to the next.
For a really really professional result... the camea is mounted on a rail or boom and the zoom ring isn't touched at all.
Keep in mind these lenses are not "parfocal" which means if you set it to any given focal length, focus it to your satisfaction, then zoom to a different focal length, the lens will require re-focusing (there are only a few true "parfocal" lenses where the focus does not change at all as you zoom.)

I have created a report which will show text like. Report output has double quotes as typed below

I have export CSV=YES with link name as download and filename
when I run this report, it shows me text as shown above but when I click on download link, text file is opened/saved but it has all "(double quotes) shown twice. How can I get it in file as it is

How to make a script dynamic while adding forminstances in a dynamic form

I have a form . Which has 8 pages (page 1-8).There is a radio button at the bottom of the page - 8 , If it's clicked as yes , then it will add an instance of Page 6,7,7&8.There are two Dropdowns in Page 6.
1st Dropdown is for Entity and the 2nd Dropdown is for State Value.Script is written on the onChange event for the Entity : Suppose a value is selected in the entity , then basing on that value some fixed valued dropdown list will appear for State field.If i add an instance for the Page 6,7,8 which is under Subform Section -1 Then the Drop Down for the State value is not working in the new instance created.I tried a lot but it's not working.Is there anyhelp for it ?

It is a bit awkward without the form, but basically the script does not know which page6 your are referring to. When there is a single instance of the page, it can be referenced by "...page6.State", but when there are several instances of the page, they are referenced by "...page6[0].State", "...page6[1].State", "...page6[2].State", etc.
So the task is to find out which instance of page 6 the dropdown is in and then reference that instance. You will see from above that the index is zero based, it is a good idea to include a line that will print the output (i) to the Javascript Console (Press Control+J when previewing). You can comment this out (//) or delete it after testing.
The next thing is to resolve the node when combining the page SOM and the particular instance of it (i).
So:

We are facing one problem in our ID document.
In one of our Indesign CS4 machine (MAC), we have Powermath plugin installed.
And we have created a new Indesign document in that machine. Here the powermath is not used in the document.
When we opened this document in another Indesign CS4 machine, we are asked the missing plugin information even though that plugin is not used in that document?
Can anyone tell me how to avoid missing plugin information while opening the document.

Export the document to IDML and open that. That should strip out the plug in info.

RSBBS setting is done for the multiprovider & uses the info source 2LIS_11_VAITM .

try doing the following:
1.you can suppress "Settings > Suppress warnings from server" messages on ur BEx toolbar .
2.Go to transaction RSRT, type in the query, click on the messages button, and suppress all messages
3.In RSBBS, go to the sender query in change mode. There should be a tab in the middle column where you have to give your infosource name..
For. eg If you want to jump from Cost centre report (BW) to Masterdata transaction in R/3, you ust assign this particular infosource in RSBBS settings.
4.Apply note: 971614 or 975164 or OSS : 1013370 if applicable.
