How to backup all the tracks on a Zen Tou

How can I back up my Zen Touch aside from just using Nomad Explorer and copying over all the files?
Note: I don't want to backup the files is MediaSource, it doesn;t have all that is on my Zen.

You can use pretty much any of the software, aside from Nomad Explorer (which doesn't recreate directories). There are some ideas on this in my Nomad Primer.

I think my harddisk is failing soon. I need to do some backups.
Can I know where can I find the folders currently that stores all the tree structures/subfolders/events in the iPhoto09 ?
I went to Macintosh > users > pictures & it only have jpeg files that I used for the screensaver.

I did the "Show File" as suggested by you.
But apparently when you did show file, there are in:
Macintosh > Users > Pictures > iPhoto Library > Originals > .... etc where etc are all the events and subfolders.
But the problem is iPhoto Library is not a folder when you go via the Finder mode. When I clicked on the iPhoto Library, it opens up iPhoto & I cannot see the structure.
When I go via the "Show File" mode, there are folders shown after the iPhoto Library icon.
Any ideas how to backup my iPhoto ?

To take a cold backup, shutdown the database. Then use the "tar"
command to backup all of the files that make up the database.
You should also backup the config.ora, and the initxxxx.ora
files.

How to backup all the views in a table

I want export all the view in a schema.
I used the below command:
expdp A12/A12 schemas=USER INCLUDE=VIEW directory=pump_dir dumpfile=expdp_VIEW.dmp
The command executed successfully but,

DeanYes, it even showed the export was successful, but the blocks size was 0kb.
If I import the dump which I took with the *"include=view"* export command, will the views imported?
And, can you please tell me when I googled about this it was mentioned *"Metadata of the objects(view,procedure,etc) will be exported"* can you explain it?

Don't drag the midi into an open Logic project. The tracks won't set up correctly.
'Open' the midi file with Logic as if it were a Logic project. Then all the tracks will be set up so you can start editing them and applying better saved sounds and instruments, but you'll be at a starting place where you can hear what's going on.

HOW YOU GET IMOVIE TO SELECT/TRIM ALL THE TRACKS IN THE TIMELINE?

trying to burn dvd of my vacation and imported the clips from the camera into imovie. worked great. i imported my audio into garageband to add some filters, compression and eq, and imported it back into imovie as a separate track. then, i muted the origional audio track from the camera. still great. now, i need to trim some clips because idvd says my movie too long to burn on a single-layer disc. not great, *****! so, then i went back to imovie and trimmed a clip and now the audio that is after the trimmed track is totally out of sync. really really *****!!!! it turns out that imovie only trimmed the video and left my second audio track alone. WHY??? ***!!! does anyone know how to trim clips so that imovie trims all the tracks? do you hold down 'shift' or 'option' or something??? there must be a way to do it. HELP!!! god, i hope i can burn this disc sometime in 2007.

yea, thanks matt but i thought of that. if i do that i have to do my whole idvd project over again. i dont think i have enuff sanity left for that. i have a really complicated idvd project thats totally done. i think im just gonna burn it to a DLdisc instead.

i made a disk image of my vacation in maui, which is 1 hour 43 mins & chose the 'best quality' option. it has lots of violent ocean footage w/lots of motion, crazy colors, rainbows etc. its taken from a canon alura dv cam & looked awesome in imovie. my imovie project is roughly 23gb. when i watched the 4gb disk image that idvd created in DVD Player, it looked really blocky especially in the water/ocean scenes. like a bad divx rip from 1997, haha. im not happy with it at all. i kinda thought about how idvd would get 23gb compressed down to 4gb and worried about how it would look. well, my worring paid off cause it looks like crap.
then, i looked at the project info window in idvd. if i select 'best performance' the capacity changed from 3.6gb to 6gb, whoa??? uh, that doesnt make sense. \ im gonna try to encode it using this 'best performance' that they speak of, and see if it helps. i just want my movie to look good and ill do anything, ill use a dvdisc if i have to! why spend hours making a perfect imovie/garageband/idvd project if your source footage looks like dog poop in the final stage. im assuming it will look better when i select this 'best performance' thingie because common sense and logic tell me 6gb is bigger than 3.6.
then i got really CRAZZIIEE and looked at the 4gb idvd image next to 1 of my source .dv files in vlc player. vlc player says my disk image is getting about 4-6,000kb/s fluctuating, BUT my .dv file is 30,000kb/s sustained!!! how do i get 30,000kb/s sustained on my dvd??? wow, that would be great!!! prob not possible with my luck? my dvd player will explode into flames when i try to play it, right? also, how can i get the quailty higher? idvd is only going to use 6gb of a dual-layer disc, why if it has the capacity to hold 9gb? any help would be greatly appreciated!!! i thought about dvd studio pro but i would only try that if it will import my idvd theme perfectly, cause im not doing all that crap again. if im stuck with a 9gb dldisc that only used 6 gb, at least thats better than 3.6gb. ill settle for that if i have to.

Happens all the time and you are probably correct about cause.
Some CD manufacturers use various forms of copy protection on discs designed to interfere with computers reading the discs. I have found iTunes to be very picky about this too. I have had several discs iTunes would not acknowledge but could rip with another program. Other times the fix is as simple as cleaning the disc ro turning on error correction for the ripping process.

one way i find is to solo every track and bounce the master everytime...
and other way i found was something called export all audio tracks but when i try that all tracks have different length.
i want all the tracks to be of same length and same size..

File>Export>Export All tracks as Audio Files
This will export all tracks from bar 1, beat 1.
I too, am curious why the OP needs his tracks to be the same length. Using the Export feature insures all tracks start from the very beginning (i.e., the same starting point), which is what you want and need when moving the tracks to another DAW.
The length of the track is of no consequence in this example. It plays through the song, until that track is over, like a guitar solo that appears in the middle of a song, but doesn't play past that point.
Unless I'm missing something?

I am copying audiobooks on CD to the iTunes, so that I can send them to my iPod, however I do not know how to keep all the disks that comprise a book ( sometimes up to 18 disks ) organized so that they are recognized as part of abook and played in sequenc

I guess I asked the question in the title, anyway one more time:I am copying audiobooks on multiple CDs to Itunes so that I can sync them to an Ipod and listen to them, how do I keep the multiple disks inone folder under one book title and how do I keep the tracks from intermingling with the tracks from another disk? EXAMPLE: I just downloaded one book, consisting of three CDs and I see the Track o1 information from each CD in sequence followed by three Track 02, instead of all tarcks from the first CD followed by the tracks of the next CD etc.

I have no way of following all of those steps successfully since I am about butterfingered a sthe last dinosaur and will make every mistake in the world and get frustrated with something that SHOULD be simple.
I have the three disk autobook showing in iTunes library as one title , I had to enter the dat amyself since it was not listed on the internet data base, All entries for all tracks match and I have indicated the disk number as one, two or three of three as indicated.
Yet when I sync the iTunes to the iPod I am being presented with each individual track listed in the Audiobook Menu.
I am using the latest version of iTunes and a iPod Classic 160G-- that I purchased three days ago purposefully for the converting of the audiobooks to a portable device since the Library of Congress ( NLS BARD ) books are formatted differently and the player is bulky.
Does anybody hav eany other ideas?
Does anybody have an e-mail address for Apple, preferably iTunes folks?
This is a handicap accessability problem since my wife cannot see and depends on these audio books.

Adobe staff does indeed read these forums. The support team, engineering team, and quality assurance team are all quite active on these forums. The first reply to your question was from an Adobe staff member.
There are also many other helpful Muse users on these forums willing to answer questions or suggest workarounds.
Muse does not currently have a feature to collect all the linked files. If enough users ask for it, we'll add it to a future version of Muse. Note that Muse 1.0 shipped less than a year ago. Since then we've added lots of new features and we'll continue to add lots more.
You probably already know what your workarounds are, but I'll spell out the ones I can think of:
1) Always move your placed assets into one folder before placing them so you can keep track of them. As you note, this is hard to always do in practice.
2) When you're 'done' with a project, embed all the links. This way you don't need the linked files if you open the project again in the future. This does prevent Muse from checking for modified links, so it may not match what you're looking for.
3) When you're done with the project use the assets panel to find where all your linked assets are and move them to a single folder yourself. Note that Muse has alittle known feature that might help with this - if you move your files around so that you've got missing links, and then you relink one to a new folder, Muse will look in that folder for all your other missing links.
