If the differences depends on the different purposes.
May I set up in simple environment of Java EE initially, then

There are a number of approaches you can take. A webservice would work well. You may also consider using EJBs and calling them via RMI or a webservice.
Either is a viable option depending on your requirements.

Why not create a Java ServerSocket in your Java program.
Connect the VB program to this ServerSocket.
Send the input to the Java Program over this socket and have the Java Program encrypt the information and pass it back on the same socket.
Don't know how hard Sockets are in VB6 but a Server Socket in Java is simple.
No need for new DLLs, JNI, etc.

How to integrate Java SSO with Oracle Weblogic

I am new to Oracle weblogic, but i want to do something like below.
I want to use Oracle weblogic as application server and want to integrate Java SSO into it. I think we can do it using Oracle access manager but since OAM itself is massive drop this plan.
I think we can use OC4j Java SSO into Oracle weblogic, but don't knw whether it is feasible.
Can somebody please guide me solve this problem.
Any suggestion or comment is most appreciated.

I'm learning J2ee and I'd like to use and debug
Java adventure. I tried to find some information but found nothing.
What I tried to debug , is to start the j2ee server by adding the following options into the bin/asadmin.bat file:
-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8000,server=y,suspend=n
This it doesn't work because the j2ee server is started with the javaw.exe virtual machine. So I'm stuck here.
My first question: 1- what visual debugger is great to debug J2ee apps ??
I'd like to known what are the steps to:
2- how to start the j2ee server in order to attach the jdb or a visual
debugger ?
3- when starting the j2ee server, what do i have to do in order to step
into the code source of Java adventure and follow function calls ?
4- how do I have to start the jdb to attach to the J2ee server ?
5- Any useful tip to debug J2ee apps ! :-)

But i would choose MYSQL. Mapping files are used to store information correctly into database to avoid the need to write new code for each type of XML files. You are missing some steps.
When you invoke a java method from C++, the parameters have to be java parameters, no C++ parameters.
For example, your code appears to me as thogh it is trying to pass a (C++) array of ints into a java method. No can do.
You have to construct a java in array and fill it in with values.
Here's a code snippet:
jintArray intArray = env->NewIntArray(10); // Ten elments
There are also jni functions for getting and setting array "regions".

How to lunch Java Console with java code?

I have an application which runs using JWS, everything is fine (running during 3 years), but sometimes an unexpected Exception happens, and my client doe not have the Java Console Activated to show (in Windows Control Panel).
What I want to do is:
set in the java code to whenever Exceptions occur the Java Console shows up and he (the client) can see and send me the Error Exception.
Does anybody know how can I set that in my code?

Just some using XML, I dont want to use XML
configuratio.You don't need to use XML for log4j configuration. Log4j properties are set in a .properties file.
But it sounds like you should build your own logging framework where for every exception that occurs you call the framework and then it will display the exception and stack trace in a dialog box and proceed to email the exception to an email list specified within a property file.
