  • How to block changes in purchase order after purchase release

    Dear all
Can u please tell us how to block any changes in purchase order after purchase order is released...
(We don't want any line items addition or quantity addition or any changes once purchase order is released..)We wanted this for a particular purchase order type only
    Regards
    Sudha

    Dear Sudha
Yes it is possible to confiquire your system insuch a way where once if the PO  gets final relase then it cannot be changed.Only possiblity that will be available for the user to make chanegs in PO is possible when the final release is to be reset and then make the changes.
Release Indicator: specicfies whether the PO documents is blocked or can be processed for the follow functions.
You can define the release indicators you need for your release procedure:
•The Released indicator is used to specify whether messages (PO documents in output format) may be transmitted for a purchase order with this indicator.
•The Changeability indicator shows the effect of changes to the PO (a change to a PO may require a new release strategy to be determined, for instance).
•By means of the Value change indicator, you can specify that the release strategy is to be re-started if a PO is changed and the value of a PO item thereby increases by a certain percentage (e.g. 10%). Set the Changeability indicator to "4 - Changeable, new release in case of new strategy or value change" or "6 - Changeable, new release in case of new strategy or value change/outputted" and enter a percentage in the Value change field.
And after that you can specify release statuese where you can specify which release indicator/status a PO is to have after having been released via a certain release code.
    and after release simulation .
Test for the PO change after final release System will not allow you tomake changes by giving the message that the release  indicator doesnot allow you make the changes in PO.

  • ME29N - Block changes in screen after validation

    Hi,
We have a workflow which allows to change only specific items during the ME29N validation. However, once the PO is fully validated, it should no more be possible to change anything.
The problem is how to block the changes in the ME29N between the moment the user validates and gets out of the transaction.
Right now, he is able to change items he should not be able to.
    Could you please help me,
    Thanks

Is your question related to SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM?  If yes, where do you want block, in B1?  That might be done through SP_Transaction_Notification.
    Thanks,

  • How do I change device name after connecting to old machine?

That's right, I've gone ahead and connected my new power book to my old dual G5 in order to get the information onto the new machine.
Now, my new machine has my Dual G5 name as it's device name.
How can I change this so my power book has the correct name?

I wish that was it, but that only changes the name of the "Hard Drive", not the actual device name.
In other words, when browsing the network there's 2 computers with same name.
    Any other suggestions?

  • How can I change the hostname after Oracle Database XE is installed?

I currently have XE installed and working on my ubuntu machine.
When I change the hostname of my machine, oracle database no longer connects and says "ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor".
Can anyone tell me how I can change the hostname of my machine and keep oracle database working correctly?
    Thanks

Stopping, reconfig, starting the instance is one way, although that is somewhat like using petrol to kill ants.
The database instance pretty much does not care about the hostname setting. But the listener does- the installer finds the hostname and uses that in the setup bits.
As posted somewhere here, when using the 1521 default listener port, the listener.ora config file can just be moved out of the way. Another potential fix is setting the HOST=0.0.0.0 for the IPv4 "any IP" address setting, or setting it to the correct hostname. Or HOST= can be set to IPv4 address. For IPv6, have to use HOST=<hostname> and it must resolve, can't HOST=... an IPv6 address.
To move the listener file, stop the listener first. To change a HOST=... setting, also stop the listener first.
      lsnrctl stop
      mv $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/listener.ora $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/listener.bk0
      # or
      vi $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/listener.ora
      # change HOST=<whatever> to the correct value, or 0.0.0.0
      lsnrctl start
      sqlplus /nolog
      conn system
      ... password ... Connected.
      alter system register;
      exit
      # start the lsnr
      lsnrctl start
      # check the status, services
      lsnrctl stat
      lsnrctl serv
If the host has a wireless (or another NIC) that one does not want to offer up remote connections on, the 0.0.0.0 is not a good way to go either

  • How to block a material that not to creation of service notification thru-IW51

    Hi All,
I have tried in all over areas ( MM02 level and MM06 level ) to block a material that not to create service notification with that material but didn't get a solution. If any one knows solution for this kindly provide me.
"How to block a material that not to create a service notifcation thru IW51?"
    Best Regards,
    Narendra Konnipati

    Narendra,
    1. I do not see any possibility without using this exit. It is a very simple and effective thing for your ABAPer and you too.
    2. In case of many Materials-Notification type combinations, you can maintain similar code by joining several elseif s.
    3. Alternatively, you can maintain a Z Table as under:
    QMART
    MATNR
    S3
    10000000099999
    S3
    10000000099988
    S1
    10000000088988
    S2
    12000000088988
Means, for every Notification type there will be one or more prohibited materials. The coding will not be difficult, but will have around 15/20 lines. Finally, if you have to get your issue resolved, I feel this is the way and also easy way through your ABAPer.
Tell me in case of any further opinions.
    Best of Luck

  • How to block changes of desktop background image

I manage a 30-computer Mac lab in a public high school and I would like to prevent users from changing the desktop background image.
As far as I know, there are two ways to change the desktop background image: through System Preferences and by right-clicking an image and selecting Set Desktop Picture.
Blocking System Preferences is easily done through Parental Controls.
But how do I prevent the right-click, Set Desktop Picture method of changing the desktop image?
You can imagine the kinds of images that end up as desktop backgrounds in a high school computer lab.

You might try going to System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts. In the left pane select Services, then uncheck the item "Set Desktop Picture" under Pictures in the right pane. Once that's done, block that prefs pane.

  • How to block changes in system generated Plan orders

    Hi,
As after MRP RUN we get Planned order generated by the system,  with type LP  , I have a requirement that system generated plan order quanity cannot be cnhage by the user if plan order is generated for quanity 85  user should not make it 100 no quality chnages,  also the manual plan order type LP cannot be create manully it should be creat by system only,  and for manul other type of plan order type should be use,
    How to do this.
    regards,
    zafar

    Hi
Firming can be used when you don't want certain planned orders to change during subsequent MRP runs.
Say today you have created certain palnned orders.
In a normal scenario, when you do the MRP run again, the planned order may get changed if the requirements have changed.
However as a normal business practice, it is not desired to change the production plans everytime there is a change in the requirement...especially in the immediate future (maybe a week or so).
We set this as the planning time fence depending on the MRP type settimg in the material master, you may have firm orders.
MRP will also generate firm planned orders for materials with MRP type P1 to P4.
In addition to the above, any planned order that is manually changed is also firmed.
    Hope this may help

  • How to block changes only in integration directory

    Hi,
I explain the situation I´m experimenting right now:
After importing a tpz file, a developper needs to make some changes for example in the repository but he told the last time that he also modified data in a communication channel in the ID and I´d like to prevent this kind of actions right now...
What kind of roles could I use to stop this user modifying anything in Integration Directory and allow him at the same time making changes in the Integration repository?
    Another thing:
Is there a kind of registration log in the Integration Directory in order to consult with details committed actions in the past?
    Thank you in advance,
    regards,
    Olivier

    Hi,
    >>>What kind of roles could I use to stop this user modifying anything in Integration Directory and allow him at the same time making changes in the Integration repository?

  • How to prevent changes qty. reservation after goods issue

    Dear Expert,
Is there a way to prevent user change their reservation qty. after goods issue?
    Example :
    Reservation No 32XXXXX item 01 requirement.qty = 5 PC
    Goods issue                                                            = 5 PC
After GI, user change qty of reservation to            = 3 PC
    and Save it
    Best regards,
    Dedy W

    Hi,
You can delete respective Reservation Item with MB22 t-code.
With this deletion indicator, you can manually earmark an item for subsequent deletion (if, for example, you do not expect any further movements in respect of this item or prevent any changes in the reservation). The actual deletion process is then performed by a reorganization program (MBVR).

  • How to undo changes in Delivery after goods movement happened

    Dear All,
I need to undo the manual changes done in delivery note but the goods movement and billing document has been created.
    Advise me regarding this.
    Thanks in advance
    Raghu

Agreed with Amit. It doesnt make a sense that after doing PGI and billing user can change delivery document. This is standard functionality of SAP to avoid missuses of Sales documents. Like Delivery document you also can't change billing document or delivered items in sales order. For this you need to go reverse your whole sale process e.g Reverse billing VF11 > Reverse PGI VL09 change or delete delivery document VL02N and change or delete sale order VA02
