How to block/reject "NO ID incoming call" ?

if you are trying to block anonymous calls then look for Block ANC Setting parameter under User tab of your PAP2....default setting is "no"...change it to "yes"

Personal rant, why do people write the entire problem in topic line
It's not possible with Windows Phone 8.  What's the point, a call is coming in and the phone allows you to answer.

  • How do I see numbers of incoming calls?

  • Skype is rejecting all my incoming calls.

All my incoming video calls are rejecting automatically.Interestingly the voice calls are ringing and connecting properly. When I call back the call is connecting and everything just fine. I am confused why only for incoming video calls are not connecting. I can see the incoming call just for a moment then dropped automatically. Also I can see the dropped calls in my miss call list. I have deactivated my voice mail. Still the problem is not solved.I have tried to log with another skype account and that just works fine with the same computer. So I think the problem is with my account settings,But I cannot figure it out. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestionsSyamya

    Hi all,
I had the same problem with Skype 7 on Win 7 Pro 64-bit.
I found this thread with the same information, plus a link to a v6 installer if anyone wants it. Downgrading fixes the problem for me and I can put up with the tired old GUI in return for software that functions properly
The only annoying thing is that Skype asks if i want to upgrade everytime I start Skype/reboot my PC, even though I have turned automatic updates off.
    Cheers

  • How to suppress leading '1' for incoming calls

i am in seattle, washington. all my incoming calls have a leading '1', is there a way to suppress this in the phone's settings?
    thanks you!

Most, if not all, of my incoming calls have the leading '1' to them. I even used a friend's mobile to call myself to make sure that is the case.
I thought maybe the region setting has something to do with the number format as this was mentioned in the manual...
    - International
Use the International settings to set the language for iPhone, turn keyboards for different languages on and off, and set the date, time, and telephone number formats for your region.
So I go into General->International->region format
    1. for US - it shows (408)555-1212
    2. for singapore - it shows 4085551221
    then i call myself
    with option 1, i get 1(415)555-1212
    with option 2, i get 14155551212
I just don't understand where the leading '1' comes from

  • How I can hang up an incoming call using the IO7 ?

    I'm using the IPhone 5 , and updated to software iOS 7  ; V 7.0.2
earlier in the previous iOS6, i was able to hang up an incoming call while the screen was locked. But now i can't. The only thing possible is just mute the ringing tone.
Is it possible in the iO7 to hang up an incoming call ?

Tap the Sleep/Wake button to silence the call, a double tap sends the call straight to Voicemail.

  • How can I be notified of incoming calls while on-line?

I am currently using dial-up and I'm wondering if there is already an application in my hard drive which would allow me to be notified when I was receiving an incoming call while I'm online? (I'm looking to get rid of my 2nd phone line which I only use for internet connection.)
Any suggestions? I also know there are services out there: CallWave, Pagoo, BuzMe but I hear they will bombard your waiting callers with advertisements. Isn't there also a device which you can plug in which lets you know if the incoming call is fax, phone or whatever? Any suggestions, advice, recommendations would be very helpful.
    Thank you!

    tinpan,
Thanks. I haven't heard of any of these programs. I'll also check out those websites. But, I'm not concerned about caller ID, per se. I don't care if I know who is calling me before I pick up the phone, I just want to be alerted that a phone call is coming in while I'm online. I thought I saw some sort of "box" that could let you know this but it was years ago and I don't know if it's available anymore nor can I remember the name. If I recall correctly, it was about $40. I was hoping it was cheaper by now.
And, I wasn't sure if Apple actually had this capability on any of their Macs but wanted to check. Sure would be an added plus, don't you think?
    Thanks again!

  • How can I find out the incoming call and out going call from my orher chine

How will I know if my friend knows who I call

It is not you who have blocked them. The caller has opted to block their number from displaying on caller id displays. You can find out who it is by answering the phone. In the future, if the caller dials (I believe) *82 before your phone number (in the us anyway) the number should appear. Ask them to do this in the future. Some medical facilities and women's shelters have caller Id blocked for privacy reasons.

  • HT4528 how do i increase volume for incoming calls and incoming text?. i have it to max

i have incoming and text messaging to the maximum volume. How can i increase it?

If while you are in Messages and set the volume, that is all you can get. You can try and see if Volume Limit is checked by going to Settings>Music and see if Volume Limit is off.
The only other thing I can recommend, is to create your own ringtone/text tone in a music editor and increase the volume in the file. You may also want to check your speaker area and see that it is clean and not blocked by any debris.

  • How to block text messages but not calls from a specific number

I want to block text messages from my father but not his phone calls. Is there a way to do this? I have an iPhone 5, but don't want to upgrade to IOS7 yet.
    Thanks!

You have a fantastic phone, joy3141. I double checked features for the iPhone 5 and confirmed there's not a way to block messages from a specific contact without blocking calls too. Our Call & Message Blocking http://vz.to/MqEgqB is a great way to block unwanted contact from specific numbers, but it would block both calls & messages. If your dad is on your account and you're hoping to block all of his text messages to or from anyone, there is a text message block available at www.vzw.com/serviceblocks you can add to his line.
    Thank you

  • How to know if the incoming call is a diverted cal...

    Hi,
    I've Nokia 5230 mobile.
How can I know if the incoming call is a diverted call from another number?
Say I have two numbers A and B and I activated all calls divert from B to A.
If some one calls to B, it gets diverted to A. Then I've to find out in mobile A that this call is a diverted call.
In many other Nokia phones, it will show a small arrow next to phone symbol when the phone is ringing if the incoming call is diverted from another number.
Nokia 5230 also shows this small arrow but only for very short duration (1 sec). Generally no one will be looking at phone waiting for a call. when a call comes, we hear the ring tone and look at the mobile,, by this time the diverted arrow symbol is gone.
Is there any other way to find out if the incoming call is a diverted call? is there any application available for this kind of purposes?
    Thanks,
    Kamal

In your scenario phone A should show an incoming call from phone number B - is that not enough to recognise that the call is diverted from that number ?

The last 3 lines were my best guess at how to tell it what the incoming call phone # is and I'm not sure it's entirely necessary.  Any thoughts?

    Dear MRLindstrom,
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues receiving incoming calls to your Skype Connect Online number.
In looking at your Asterisk configuration, I would suggest changing your 'incoming call field' (the last 3 lines you have included below) to your 9905xxxxxxxxxx, rather than 281203xxxx.
Please make that change and let us know if you are able to receive calls.
    Thank you,

If it's cold callers that trouble you I would defintely reccomend this option.
If they know your not answering they will (although it may take some time) leave you alone.
