Your phone can btw be tracked, but not as mccbleue mentiones in his guide. First of all the Imei number must not be blocked cause what you want to happen is that the person who found it/ stole it, switches Sim cards and start using the sim card registrated on him with the phone. That way it will be able to see who has started to use his SIM card with the IMEI number on your phone. Then it should be able to track down the adress of the person and get it. However, it's unlikely that the police will do this unless it's a matter of importance. But it never hurts to ask your local police about it. They migh actually do it for some reasons or others.
If they don't have the time or don't want to track it you just ask if they can request the imei to be blocked or you call your operator your self to hear if it ccan be done without going through the police. After a IMEI block, the phone will be totally useless for calls and sms's as mentioned in a previous post.
Most likely your important content isn't of any interest for the person who finds it. It might even be that the phone is found and given to the police. In that case you should contact them anyway just to make sure it isn't found. Blocking your Sim card won't make your phone useless, only the sim card.

When I import videos taken with my iPhone 4S to my Windows PC, some of the landscape videos are upside down and all of the portrait videos are rotated 90 degrees. It makes a difference depending on what position I hold the Iphone when taking videos. Help!!!!
Sometimes syncing will have problems with very large video files like this. I'm not sure you will be able to overcome this, but if the videos are important enough you may consider purchasing 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer them.

Need help...Only the carrier might be able to do that and as you say you have called them and they're not willing/unable to do that so you are stuck. Make sure you have find my phone installed and turned on in you new phone and use a pass code lock on it also so if it happens again you will be in a better position

I left my iphone in a taxi, but i found the taxi's home, i went to his home and i told him to give me back my iphone but he told me that he never seen iphone in his taxi.

If you go to the Photos app, is there content in the Photo Library? These would be pictures that are synced to the phone from the computer. Photos in the camera roll are those that you take with the phone, or save from email, MMS on the phone. What type of pictures are you trying to get rid of? If you are trying to get rid of the synced photos, you need to connect to iTunes, select the iPhone in the device pane, then go to the Photo tab in iTunes and remove the check mark by sync.

Hello. Today, I was updating my iPod Touch 4th Generation to iOS 6. I unplugged the iPod when it was during the installation because it appeared to be frozen. Now the iPod is stuck at a light blue screen even after I reset it. How do I fix it?
You will need to do a DFU restore by holding the home and power buttons down (while the device is plugged in to your computer) until the device's screen goes black and as soon as the screen goes black, count down from 3 and release the power/sleep button, but keep holding down the home button. Then, iTunes will say the iPod needs to be restored. The restore process will take some time and even though the iPod may appear to be frozen, don't interrupt the restore.
