How to block unwanted urls

Thinking about making Firefox default browser.
Question/s...
With IE there is a IE7/Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Sites list of 'Managed Sites', is there the same with FF ?
Also, just recently, lost all of IE blocked url list, and am not able to get an answer on how to restore the lost list.
Would assume could go to a backup file get the list, but it is a registry file, and no one appears to know how to go back and get that particular type file and restore so can get the data back to the registry... ie not find old list with regedit, but find the actual registry file with the old url list data, and use that to restore the registry with regedit or other.
Is there an easier way to restore a 'lost' list with FF ?

True call/SMS blocking must be done at the carrier level. So, contact your carrier to see if they offer call/sms blocking. Some do, some don't.

Once they are marked as junk, any future emails from them will be sent to the junk or spam folder, thus I will still be receiving emails from them, they a just routed to a different location in my email. If this is correct, I would like to completely block the email address and prevent them from sending me emails versus routing them to my junk box. How to Block unwanted email from Apple?

My email address is constantly being flooded with iTunes emails every day. They are from the official itunes email address and I'm just getting sick of it. I've tried unsubscribing from the mailing list (I've done this 6 times over the course of two weeks total but to no effect) and even when I mark the email as junk in the mail app on my phone, it still ends up in my Inbox BUT NOT the Junk Folder.
Gonna have to report this email address to my ISP to hard-block if Apple doesn't get their act together.

Thankfully Gmail has some good options for this, after searching around myself.

I guess the native iphone email app doesn't play well with many functions beyond simply reading the email.

It can't be done with the phone, only your provider can help you.
If it shows the number calling, you can try to create and assign a silent ringtone to this number, so you will not hear the calls from this number.

Solved this problem myself by right clicking on the pop-up and finding a way of adding the name of the pop-up to a list of pop-ups that I did not want to hear from. Thank You.

Please run a virus scan, most likely, you have clicked on a malware link.

How to allow Teamviewer while blocking Uncategorized URLs

Hello All,
I would like to allow Teamviewer while blocking Uncategorized URLs.
Uncategorized URLs have been giving me some problems since many unwanted webpages leak trough this category, but when I blocked, Teamviewer stop functioning.
I found that Application Visibility can identified Teamviewer successfully but since there is no "Allow" action for this, I dont know how I can get to make it work.

You have a couple of options:
1. Go to the Cisco Iroport support site, and submit it for categorization https://securityhub.cisco.com/web/submited_urls (requries a login). Your box will get it in a few hours.
2. TeamViewer uses a user-agent string of "DynGate"
Create an Access Policy above the one that's currently blocking the uncategorized stuff (Web Security Manager/Access Policies) . At the bottom, there's a section labled in blue called "Advanced". Click Advanced to open it up, and click "None Selected" next to User Agents. In the Custom box enter "(DynGate)" Under URL Filtering, leave everything to Use Global Settings, except Uncategorized URLs. Set that to Monitor.
You could also create an identity using the user agent string, and then create a similar policy using the identity...

How can I block unwanted calls? (Besides Do Not Call List)

We just moved into our new home and have Verizon's home phone service (and everything else). In less than the month we've been here we've been BOMBARDED by HUNDREDS of solicitors! Half are non-profits, half biz/telemarketers.They're all unwanted (I don't even do charities over the phone). I've never been so overwhelmed with unwanted calls before! (Must be a California thing? We just moved here from Seattle). Our number is on the National Do Not Call registry, but of course that doesn't stop the non-profits, charities and politicians from calling (they're excluded). Nor does it stop the ones who just don't care. I see that Verizon no longer provides the option of blocking unwanted numbers, and it also discontinued the Do Not Disturb feature. There used to be other options from many of the various phone providers to block all calls except those on a pre-approved list of your choosing. Why aren't these options available to us anymore???
I'm thinking... with all this advanced technology... there MUST be some way to block all those unwanted calls!!??!!
Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are a couple of options, including one that is on done through your account online, or by calling customer service and requesting the block. Customer Service can tell you how many of these blocks can be done for free, and whether you will need a specific plan to cover more.

Your ISP should (most of them do) have a capability to block senders. The Mail application does not (as far as I know). If you get unwanted mail, mark it junk.
