How to block update for NOKIA SUITE?

It is very bad that NOKIA SUITE does not have any checkbox to limit update or make it possible MANUALLY.
How to do it as constant is update each day and I do not need.
I think when I send SMS per NOKIA SUIT it will still not store message not even in NOKIA SUIT.

Hello, I tried to disable web updates for Nokia PC Suite -German 7.1.40.6 by using following methods,
1) DISABLE="WEBUPDATE"
2) by changing registry value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Nokia\ConfServer\App

i really want the belle update but nokia suite is telling me there are no updates yet ? when will there be and how do we know if we will get one or not ? my product code isnt on the list of available updates yet.

I am a huge fan of Nokia and their Symbian platform.. But I am getting more and more disappointed with them.
I cannot use another OS. Cannot use new softwares. Very slow and low hardware and performances..
I was hoping to get a Symbian ^ 3 update for my 5800 but that is not possible... So I have decided to see the last firmware update for 5800 and see if its any good. Otherwise I'll simply throw it away and start using HD2.

There are rumors about a v60 coming out, but I quite doubt it... and even if it comes it will most likely be a failure...
Nokia has done so much stuff wrong latelly (even Symbian^3 devices are filled with bugs and issues) and doesn't commit into fix them before launching something new based on the old ones.
This angers the users and most likely drivens them away... Nokia was once one of the biggest (if not the biggest) name in smartphone industry... now ... iPhone, Android based and even the dieing Blackberry are way ahead of them ... only 'dumbphones' on Nokia worth some consideration...
If you think 5800 has issues then don't look at it's more expensive brother ... the N97... so much for a top of the line phone...
Nokia has the firmware so fragmented that makes Android look like an homogeneous mass of software...
Because how some companies work, I start a personal blacklist of devices/brands that will never buy.... Apple and Sony are on the top of that list, Nokia will soon join them :[
Well... true to be said, I have 2 old 'dumbphones' - one of them has a 3.2MP camera with OPTICAL zoom, while it has 6~7 years more than 5800 it beats it in screen quality, camera quality and build quality, it also cost half the value of it - that I would most likely return to once 5800 dies... because it will die...
5800xm on a blender ... will happen sooner than expected.... v51 is a failure as an update .... v52 just postponed its fate....

Please make an update for Nokia 5800. We already used it for years. Upgrade it to symbian ^3 if you could, so we (your loyal customer and user) can feel how is it to use the symbian ^3 like the later phone that came out after nokia 5800. Since the Nokia 5800 is the first phone that have the touch screen feature and it was came out to take down the iPhone in the past, so please give us the feedback for supporting you.

The 5800 will never get symbian^3 as it lacks the necessary hardware to run it. It's processor is too slow and it does not have a GPU.
It may get further updates to improve it's symbian^1 operating system, but with it now being an old model it may get nothing. All you can do is wait and see what happens.
If you are unhappy about this you can raise a complaint directly with nokia by using the "contact us" link.

Can't find software update for Nokia 110

Model is Nokia 110. Country is Bangladesh. The latest version of software for Nokia 110/112/113 is 3.51. The version of my Nokia 110 is still 3.33. Can't find any update through device menu. But the update was available in our country. I've updated several 112 and 110 myself. But I can't find it anymore. It can't be updated via Nokia suite cause it doesn't have data cable feature. Any help? Can anybody give a standalone copy of the update?

@Ahmedshawon92 currently that code has V 03.33 as last version because it is a country variant (CV) for Bangladesh (BD). A new version of a country variant has to pass all network operators in that country. Obviously that did not happen (yet). The trick is to change the product code which fits to your region and gets the latest updates. Officially, only a Nokia Care Centre is allowed to do that change, because software is required, which is copyright protected to Nokia Support channels only.

Here's an example for you to understand.
Let say, you just bought a phone with the earliest firmware. And you planned to upgrade your phone to the latest firmware. When you update it through Zune, it will automatically update the first update, then second update, third update until the latest update. It will update all those one by one and it will tell you to unplug your phone when the latest update is updated on your phone.
Your friend's phone is updated, but probably not on the latest one.
Anyway, you might want to check your phone for the latest update. It is available for your phone according on your product code. If your phone has camera extras, Internet Sharing and Flip-To-Silence features, it means your phone is fully updated to the latest update.

we are planning to block some of articles for purchases. However we want to allow for stock transfers using stock transfer requests( ME21N-UB doc type).
when i kept 01 Blocked for procment/whse in X-site status of baisc data tab system is not allowing for stock transfer order creation also.
plz suggest how to block articles for purchases without impacting for stock transfers.
what is the usage of follwing selections for blocking
01     Blocked for procment/whse
02     Blocked for task list/BOM
03     Blocked for Purchasing

If you want to block articles from procuring into DCs and do not want to block DC to Store movements, you may block articles in site-specific Block status (MARC-MMSTA) in Article/DC view. So DC to Store STOs can be created.
You may see the definitions of various blocking statuses in transaction OMS4. For example, 01 Blocked for procment/whse means blocked from Purchasing,Forecasting and RP (No Message, Warning or Error Message).

I am new in Nokia development.
I have a Nokia 701 (SW version 111.020.0307 - Symbian Belle).
I want to develop a NFC application which sends NDEF messages (through SNEP protocol) to an Android phone (Ice cream).
From what I could see till now, the SW version that I have in my Nokia phone does not support SNEP.
I want to know if there is any SW update for Nokia 701 which supports SNEP.

Just adding more information in order to clarify my questions related to this post.
I am pretty new in Nokia developing. Actually this is the first application I was asked to develop/change.
I work to a company which has a client that has an application that runs in Nokia 701 (SW version  111.020.0307 - Symbian Belle). They want us to change this application in order to be able to send NDEF messages through SNEP protocol.
From what I could see till now, current SW version in the Nokia 701 does not support SNEP.
I also saw that new QTMobility versions support SNEP. I would like to know if I download the Nokia SDK and the new QTFramework/QTMobility:
1- I would be able to change the existing application to send NDEF messages through SNEP.
2- Would the modified application run in the current  Nokia 701 SW release? Or we would have to install any new lib to have it working?
3- Where can I find which QTFramework/QTMobility version are supported in current SW 111.020.0307 - Symbian Belle?
Sorry if my questions are very rudimentary, but, as I said, I am new in the company and pretty new in Nokia development. All those terms  QTFramework/QTMobility are new to me.

@GEN82012, this is probably the wrong thread for enquiring on updates but...
No you can't download directly from Nokia if the update hasn't been released for your product code.
Updates are by Product Code, type *#0000# on the Call screen. For example mine is 059C7R0.
These codes are country and operator specific.
Be aware there is a difference between a "Vanilla" handset brought directly from Nokia and an "Unlocked" one.
If a carrier "Unlocks" the handset it means you can use it on other networks but the Product Code will remain the original one and can't be changed.
If the phone has been repaired at some stage it may have a non standard board in it as well and I think those can only be updated at Nokia Care.
If you take the phone to Nokia Care with proof that it is legally unlocked they may be willing to load the local "Vanilla" variant for you.
Note; mine has recently updated to 111.040.1511.
