and i tried to raise it from get info tracks in Itunes ,. and it is still low .,

Are you talking about needing it louder through the Apple earbuds?
It's hard to believe that you need it louder - I like loud music, and I can't turn this the whole way up...
If you really want to go to the next level, then better headphones and a headphone amp are in order, but then, it seems odd to be using a Shuffle.
So, give a little more info.

It goes into a little more detail on the differences between Clip Keyframes and Track Keyframes (generated with Audio Mixer). While the effect of those can be the same, there are nuances, that one should make note of.

Thanks for the quick response.
I have a number of slides which act as a training module. The quiz follows this. All the answers to the quiz are in the module slides. I'd like the user to be able to see which questions they're failing on, but not be shown the answers, as, if they are failing the quiz, the whole module needs to be reviewed and the test retaken.
If this isn't possible, I'll probably just remove the review option, thereby meaning my retake button can stay, and the user can just go back and re-read the module slides to learn the answers.

I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever.
But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

and techncially, you don't "own" the movie, You simply have a license to use it.
Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.
Actually, no it does not tell you that.
FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.

How to boost audio levels.

Hey guys, i'm kind of a newbie to FCP, I've been editing a lot lately w/ Canopus Edius.... I have a question on how to boost my audio levels of a clip. Is it true I can only raise the level of a clip 12db? I can't find any other place or filter to gain the audio. In Canopus Edius you had 12db of timeline reference then you could drop on filters to gain it. Hopefully I'm just overlooking something...

There are several options for you
1. soundtrack pro
2. double up the track and boost both
3. Crank it up, export it, reimport it and crank it again.
4. Put on the parametric eq filter and punch the whole thing.
5. Any combination of the above.
Keep in mind that you are also raising the noise floor and it will begin to sound unnatural. Best solution: audio engineer on set.

Whether they are suitable for creating a Timelapse sequence without significant flicker is entirely subjective and up to you - and of course, dependant on your specific images & how they change over time. Sorry, not much advice beyond try PV2012, and revert back to PV2010 if you get too much flicker.

I'm not sure this is going to help, but try to convert the songs to a higher bitrate (ei. 128kbps)..... iTunes can do that for you. You don't have to use or download any other software from other third-party site.

I have an iphone 5 and need to boost podcasts and music volume through my earbuds. I have iOS7 and can't find a decent app that works.

In Settings => Music see if the Volume Limit is turned on. If it is turn it off and see if this help. I have always left this turned off because it does keep you from turning the volume up to a high level.
I get that they are trying to help us not destroy our hearing, but it is too soft for me when this is turned on .
Also what earbuds are you using? Have you tried a different pair? I have never liked the ones that came with the iPhone. They sound to tinny to me and the overall sound quality is terrible.
I have a pair of Skullcandy earbuds that I really love. They cost $50 but they were worth it because of how much I listen to music on my phone.

Right Way To Boost Volume Of Your Music Before Synching

I'd like some guidance about boosting the volume of music on my ipod.
Do I import the CD, and THEN boost the volume prior to synching.
Or... Do I boost the volume of the songs FROM the CD before importing the CD? This is what I do now.

You do know that if you increase the volume of a song in iTunes, all you do is make it so that the maximum volume on the iPod is reached before the volume bar is at full? You're not going to make the iPod any louder by doing this. Indeed, what you may do by doing this is introduce distortion.
For example, if you increase a track's volume in iTunes by +100% then when it's on the iPod you will find that that track hits it's maximum volume level at about half volume, and turning the iPod up to full volume will not increase the volume any higher after this point. A track which has not had it's volume altered in iTunes will reach exactly the same sound level, although of course you will need to turn the volume level of the iPod to full in this instance.
Try it for yourself.

Flash Slide Presentation...how to control volume?

I am working in Flash Slide Presentation mode. I have a
started a sound file playing on the "master" slide and I want it to
play throughout my entire presentation. However, on a couple of
slides, I want to play some short voice clips. How can I "turn down
the volume" a bit on the main sound file so as to hear the short
voice clips? And then turn it back up when the voice clip ends?
I understand basic Actionscript. Can anyone tell me the code
or point me to a tutorial which I can use to accomplish this?
