How to Boot Camp 5.0.2 iMac Windows 7 USB?

Hi, this is my first boot camp. I was serching in web, how to make boot camp but I can't find it. So, I have Windows 7 .iso file and boot camp 5.0.2. I don't have a first option with USB installing. Please can anyone give me a link to some tutorial? Sorry for bad English. My iMac is 21.5 version 10.8.3 (half 2011).
Please help!

The new iMac is only compatible with 64-bit Windows editions, so you have to install a 64-bit version on your Mac.
If you want to install a 32-bit version, you will have to install Windows on a virtual machine. To create a virtual machine, you can use Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox, but if you need Windows for heavy tasks, it won't be useful

    Lion cannot BootCamp XP.
You can install XP under virtual machine software (Parallels, VM Fusion, VirtualBox).
And Windows 7 Pro has XP mode.  XP will requires probably days of pathing after install and will be completely unsupported by MS within 1 year, but Windows 7 Pro still has great support from MS.

Yes, purchase Paragon Camp Tune for the job.

  • Learning Macs.  How does "Boot Camp" work exactly?

    To whom it may concern:
My friend just bought a Mac Book Pro and I just about ebay'd my current computer right there. I love it. Here's the problem though, he said that with "Boot Camp" the Mac runs on Windows, but does that mean when i use that Operating System, it's now classified as a PC? The current field that I am in uses AutoCAD for PC. Would i be able to load AutoCAD, the PC software, on the Mac when it's using "Boot Camp"? Or do I have this all wrong and PC software is still unusable on Macs? Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time.
    Sincerely,
    Andrew Kosloske

You'll probably get better responses to your questions if you post them in the Bootcamp Forum.
Just to touch on a few of your questions...

PC means Personal Computer. Any home computer, laptop, etc. running any operating system is considered a PC.
Installing Boot Camp followed by Windows Operating System on your MacBookPro means that you have a MacBookPro running the Windows Operating System. This is not unlike having a Dell Laptop running a Windows Operating System.
Would i be able to load AutoCAD, the PC software, on the Mac when it's using "Boot Camp"?
    Yes, you would.

  • Boot camp is getting stuck while windows support software

I am using macbook air and currently trying to install windows 7 using bootcamp 5. The bar is stuck and is not progressing further no matter for how much long i keep it. Can anybody guide me on what might be wrong

Thanks for the note. But neither link lists our MacBook Pro mid 2014.
And how can I use Boot Camp Assistant to write the Windows.iso to USB-stick because it forces the download of support software (it is selected and grayed out).
The following page recommends using BCA for the MBP mid 2014.
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204048
I guess I could write the Windows.iso to USB using Windows (in fact I already did and it boots the MBP) and then try if the aforementioned software packages (which one?) contain necessary drivers for our MBP.
But I'd rather do it the recommended way letting the Boot Camp Assistant do the dirty work.

  • Boot Camp Assistant fails to copy windows installation files

I have been struggling to get Windows 8 installed on a brand new Macbook Pro Retina. It seemed simple enough to just run Boot Camp 5 with a 16GB flash drive in the USB port and a Windows 8 Professional ISO sitting on the desktop with the intent of creating a bootable USB drive, but it's not working for me. After selecting the path to the ISO file, boot camp proceeds to format the flash drive, create the WININSTALL partition, and attempt to copy the contents of the ISO to it, but it fails.
The error message isn't all that helpful, but the console logs seem to indicate that there is some sort of problem remounting the flash drive after formatting:
5/15/13 2:05:05.609 AM fseventsd[40]: could not open <</Volumes/WININSTALL/.fseventsd/fseventsd-uuid>> (No such file or directory) 5/15/13 2:05:05.609 AM fseventsd[40]: log dir: /Volumes/WININSTALL/.fseventsd getting new uuid: FD5D8B3E-A08E-4710-8925-CAA898FA70C3 5/15/13 2:05:05.679 AM fseventsd[40]: Events arrived for /Volumes/WININSTALL after an unmount request! I have tried rebooting, removing and re-inserting the flash drive, mounting, umounting, and reformatting. Boot Camp always winds up in the same place.
Any hints as to what might be going wrong?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
That's because the Boot Camp volume was created, but your Mac hasn't been set up to start automatically from the Windows disc. Insert the Windows DVD and press C key while your Mac is starting to start Windows installation.
If you want to make sure that everything is correct, open Boot Camp Assistant and choose the option to remove Windows 7. Then, open that application again, select the option to install Windows 7 and you will be able to install Windows as usual

And it leaves new partation as a unallocated space.
Can someone help me how to create one more Partation in windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
    Many Thanks in Advance

Once you install  Windows on a Mac you can NOT FOOL with any of the partitions in Windows or in OS X.
Hopefully OS X still boots. At startup hold down the Option/Alt key to get the Mac Boot manager/selection screen. Select yopur Mac OS X drive and boot to it. Run Boot Camp assistant and Remove the Windows partition/s if you can.
If not use Time Machine to backup the OS X partition and then you'll need to use the Online internet Recovery system to repartition your drive as One Partition to remove the FUBAR you have created. Then once that ios done restore your Mac from the Time Machine backup you created.
You can then use Boot Camp Assistant to recreate the Windows partition and reinstall Windows. Then do NOT try to make any other partitions in Windows or OS X.

  • Cannot install Boot Camp 3.2 upgrade for Windows 7 64 bit

I recently installed Windows 7 64 bit on my macbook. I also installed Boot Camp 3.0.1 after Windows 7 installation, however, WiFi did not work. Therefore, I needed to upgrade to the latest Boot Camp 3.2. However, when I tried to install Boot Camp 3.2 upgrade for Windows 7 74 bit, I got an error message saying that I needed Boot Camp 3.1 installed first. I CANNOT find Boot Camp 3.1 upgrade for Windows 7 64 bit on Apple website at all. Can someone please help me on this? Is there a way to get the complete Boot Camp 3.2 package that can simply be installed on version 3.0.1??

here is the link to bootcamp 3.1 for windows 7 64 bit http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1336 .. and no there is no package that can be applied to the windows side to go from 3.0.1 to 3.2

  • OS Mavericks - Boot Camp Assistant can not download windows support software because it is "not currently available from the Software Update server."

When trying in install windows 7 on my mac, the Boot Camp Assistant attempts to fownload windows support software.  However, the program continues to return the following error: the windows support software "not currently available from the Software Update server."
Is there another way to get this software?

64 bit.  I found the support drivers and got the windows installation done.  When trying to run the 64 bit support drivers in Windows 7, it says my computer doesn't support 64 bit.  Sooooo.....
I'm assuming I have to download the 32 bit support drivers for Windows 7.
    Correct?

How to install and use icloud in imac windows 7 based

Have you carefully read iCloud - Learn how to set up iCloud & iCloud on a Mac?, What do I need? If you are trying to run on Windows 7 on your iMac and ignoring OS X well you're pretty much on your own. You would need to look for supports on Windows forums. If you happen to use BootCamp there is a Bootcamp forum that you can post on for BootCamp and Windows assistance.

  • "Your bootable USB drive could not be created" "Boot Camp only supports 64-bit Windows installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for 64-bit Windows installation."

I try to install windows7 system on my macbook air, which version is 10.8.5. When I open the bootcamp, it let me to choose a windows ISO image, which I've already downloaded from this website: http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads.12325 /, it also asked me to select a USB drive, which is kingston that has 8GB. Then when I clicked "continue", it said that "Your bootable USB drive could not be created" "Boot Camp only supports 64-bit Windows installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for 64-bit Windows installation." But actually the ISO image I downloaded is 64-bit windows7. I don't know why this would happen. Could someone help me please!!

    Thanks for your feedbakc Kiranjj!
I identified the reason to be that the W8 installation file didn't download completely from a Mac OS-device. I downloaded from another Win-device and the moved the installation file with a USB-stick and then everything worked diectly! But thanks anyway.
