When my wife tries to update one of her apps a strange Apple ID pops up. Her Apple ID is correct in settings and in the apple store. What does this mean? Where did the other one come from?
There is something on your iPhone (a music file, iBook, document or video) that belongs to another Apple ID. Only your wife would know how that file arrived there. Your iPhone is asking for the correct Apple ID for all of the files that are resident on the iPhone.

I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now. Before I updated my phone, I really liked it, now I don't like my phone at all! When will this be fixed? I hope it's soon. Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Here's how top get a slideshow that will let the viewer manually control the forward and backward movement of the slides with the forward and back buttons on the DVD remote.
1 - put the images you want to use in an iPhoto album.
2 - launch iDVD, select a theme and add a slideshow using the "+" button at the bottom:
3 - click on the Media button at the lower right hand corner of the window and then click on the Photos button.
4 - locate the iPhoto album containing your photos and drag it into the left hand pane:
5 - select Side Duration to Manual.
In order to get the maximum manual control of the slides you cannot have add any music to the slideshow. If you do add music the slideshow will continue you advance unless you pause the slideshow and/or use the advance/back buttons and then pause.
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.

My computer is not recognizing my ipod shuffle. The computer says to use the ipod reset utility. When I did that it came up with another message that it was only good for a 32 bit version. The music files, were they bought from your iTunes account or did someone gift them to you after buying from the iTunes account? If they are yours you can download them again if you clear or de-authorise the ipod, it has to be done by whoever gave you the ipod to do this (the registered owner). If they were bought for you on another itunes account I don't think Apple let you use them as they are copyrighted and they don't belong to you, they belong to the person who bought them. If the music files where ripped from music cd's then click and drag them to a new folder on your desktop and have the person who gave you the ipod to de-authorise and unregister it. Then you re register it and put your files back from your desktop folder in your iTunes folder and synch. Hopefully that would work. Any files which you did not buy, I would not know how get around this, best bet is to take it to you nearest Apple Store and explain that they were gifted to you and ask how you can use them. The best way to gift music files is to buy the gift tokens and give these. Hope above helps. -

Sending Graphical Attachments -- When you attach a graphical image to your message, the recipient of your message sees the image inline (that is, in the body of the message) if her email client supports inline display. ("Take Control of Email with Apple Mail" contains a table listing the capabilities of popular Mac and PC email clients.) If a client does not support inline display (or the recipient has turned off the inline display option), the file appears as an attachment that must be opened in a separate program.
On the one hand, an inline image is easier for the recipient to see - all she has to do is look at it. On the other hand, inline images can be frustrating to scroll through. If you do not wish to send a graphical image inline, you must compress the file before attaching it - Mail, sadly, lacks a built-in compression option, though fortunately for Panther users, the Finder offers Zip compression without requiring a separate application.
Note that when you compose a new message, Mail always shows attachments in the body of your message. You can manually drag them somewhere else, but many email clients display all attachments in a separate list, regardless of where you place them in the message body.

So, yes. Most of my master pictures are gone, long story - please don't ask why. The question now is whether I can use the previews (which are still there) which is surely better than nothing. But except for browsing, there's nothing I can do with them, unless they have a master file connencted. Has anyone got a clue how I could make Aperture treat these remaining preview as master files as well as previews, or in some way make this files useable.

I assume, your library is referenced? And the versions are now pointing to missing original master image files?
Then try the following - for each project separately.:
Select all images in a project and drag them from the Bowser to a folder outside the library. This will export the previews as jpegs.
Now - with the images in the project still selected - use the command "File > Locate Referenced Files" to open the "reconnect" window. In the upper part of the reconnect Window select the first of your images that needs to be reconnected, and in the lower part point it to the corresponding jpeg you exported. Hold down the alt/options-key⌥ to force the connect-buttons to appear. Press "Connect all".

P.S: If the reconnect buttons refuse to become active, even with the⌥-key held down, check the filenames. The previews should be named exactly like the missing originals. I tried this in Aperture 3.4.5, but I am not sure, if it will work in all Aperture versions the same. -

I had thought about this, but it seems other people have already chosen the screen name "pinksharkmark" and virtually every variation of it I can think of. So that isn't an option for me. As for getting it to display something else as well, do you mean that if I were to get an AIM screen name like "CromulentCat" I could somehow log in to iChat under the AIM account "CromulentCat" yet get iChat to represent me to my Buddies as "PinkSharkMark"? Because I have to admit I don't see how that can be done. It appears as if iChat displays to anyone chatting with you precisely the account name you logged in under and nothing else. So if you logged in using a .Mac account, then you are displayed as "[email protected]" while if you logged in under an AIM account, you are displayed as "CromulentCat". But that's it that's all... there is no way to change CromulentCat to PinkSharkMark.

If your optical drive is broken, you will either need to replace it or get an external. There is no other way.
Why do wish to upgrade? As you can see it is going to be expensive, probably more the Mac is worth.

Yeah, I did. But if I go to settings and change the standard ring tone again, the ring tone for that special contact is still the old standard tone. But I want to 'tell' my iPhone/iPad that this contact should always have the standard ringtone from settings.
