How to burn Cd's including the Lyrics ?

Hi!
I am trying to backup all my music cd's collection and I would like to burn them including the lyrics, so far I couldn't find a way to do so, I would like to know if it is possible and perhaps a hint to do it, I like to sing the song while I am listening them although I am not exactly a good singer....
Hector

If you are backing up, you should burn them as data, not audio (as macmenno stated).

  • How to burn a cd in the AAIF format

I burned a cd in the .MP3 format and it will not play in some older cd palyers. I understand that if I burn the cd in .AAIF format it should play on all cd players (old & new). Can I do this in Itunes, if so.....how?
    Thanks

What you need to make is what is called an audio format CD (sorry, these all say iTunes for Mac but I suspect the instructions are similar for Windows):
iTunes 10 for Mac: Create your own audio CDs - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH1747
iTunes 10 for Mac: Disc burning overview - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH1746

  • How do I get to see the lyrics for a song?

On my old iPod I just pressed the center button in the wheel to get them to view. I tap the screen of my iPod Touch, while a song with lyrics is playing, and nothing appears. Am I doing something wrong?

I was having the same problem with my iPod where some lyrics would look really nice and others would be just some massive paragraph. When I called apple support, the guy told me to go on the internet and find the lyrics, THEN paste them in to Microsoft word or text edit or pages (some word processing application) and format the lyrics the way you want them to look, THEN paste the lyrics from the document to itunes. Then, they will look the way you want on the iPod. This is basically kind of a copyright thing, and this is a way to get around it.

  • How to burn CD's from the command line in 2009?

I've always managed to burn CDs and DVDs from the command line but I haven't done it in a long time. cdrecord wasn't working as root and I noticed it was just a symlink pointing to wodim.
I tried the following command as root in a directory with some wav files:
    # cdrecord -dev=/dev/sr0 -driveropts=burnfree -audio -pad *.wav
    Which gives me:

This worked for me in 2008, so has anything big changed?

Hmm strange, I tried the same command as in my first post and it works fine with the real cdrtools but not with wodim (I also tried k3b and that failed too). So I just stick with cdrtools
    Hooray, one more convert
I haven't really followed the discussion either but why choose an "emulated cdrecord" that doesn't work instead of the real program that works great?

  • How do you put the lyrics of songs on your ipod?

My brother has on his lyrics to songs on his ipod and I was wondering how you do that.

You copy the lyrics. The you right click the song you got the lyrics for and press "Get info". Then you select the lyrics tab and paste them in there.

  • How to put Company logo in the report?

    Hi,
How am i going to include the company logo or a image file into my report?
    What is the best tools?
I have try to use the "Link File" tool and it required me to specify the "Source Filename". So if I put the file path and filename in the "Source Filename", it's hardcoded...
How to specify the "Source Filename" at run time or any otherway so that it won't hardcoded?
    Regards,
    Cheong

Note that you can also use the read from file functionality.
If you have a character based column, then any layout field based on this column will have the Read From File property. If this is set to Yes, then reports will attempt to use the value of the column to read a file from the file system. You can also specify the type of the file (image, text, or even an image URL to read an image from over the web).
For example, if you have a column in the data model that returns a value ("c:\temp\mypicture.bmp"), and you set the Read From File property to Yes, and the File Format to be Image then at runtime, reports would look for c:\temp\myimage.bmp and return the value. And of course, since you can create a formula column in the data model then you can control the returned value as much as you like.
    Hope this helps,
    Danny

  • Gather & include the changes to Transport object in NWDS

    Dear Friends,
I am working on a open DC in development system.
When ever I start working, many times I missed to logon to NWDI.
But I have created some views and made many changes during that time.
The time has come to move my DC changes to UAT system.
Before releasing to UAT system, how can I gather and include the changes/view which I created without logon to NWDI?
If I release this incomplete application to UAT, I am sure it won't run as it is running in Development system.
Can anybody help me on this.
    Thanks in advance.

    HI,
Have you created a Local DC?
if that is the case, you can right click on the DC and click on add to DTR which asks you for an activity name.
provide some name and checkin and all other necessary steps.
If you have created a DC (not local) it will automatically prompt you for logging in to DTR.
    Regards,
    Satya.

When I burn a cd in itunes, how do I get the song titles to be burned onto my cd. My car cd player used to display them. Previos versions of itunes had a "burning options" tab.

    Select the playlist.
File > Burn playlist to disc.
Select Audio disc and tick Include CD-TEXT.

  • How to burn karaoke music with lyrics thru itunes?

i need help!! i downloaded a couple karaoke songs from itunes but when i burn it onto a cd or dvd the cd or dvd wont play or show the lyrics on the karaoke. how do i fix this?? the cd or dvd i burn will only play the music on the laptop but without the lyrics. Im running itunes on windows.

i downloaded a couple karaoke songs from itunes
No you didn't.  The tracks labeled "karaoke" in the iTunes Store are only instrumental backing tracks;  they are not actual karaoke tracks.  They do not have lyrics, and cannot be burned to the usual CD+G format that a karaoke machine will accept.
If you want actual karaoke tracks,  go to a specialty online download store such as KaraokeDownloads.com.

  • How to burn DVDs without the graphics?

I'm trying to burn a DVD for a client, with only the video piece on the DVD. However, the iDVD keeps putting up the graphics/themes/whichever you call them, and I can't get them off. I've tried autoplay, deleting the graphics - nothing works! I don't want to lose a paycheck over this, so can someone help me?
    Thanks

    (From fellow poster Mishmumken: )
How to create a DVD in iDVD without menu (there are several options):
    1. Easy: Drop your iMovie in the autoplay box in iDVD's Map View, then set your autoplay item (your movie) to loop continously. Disadvantage: The DVD plays until you hit stop on the remote
    2. Still easy: If you don't want your (autoplay) movie to loop, you can create a black theme by replacing the background of a static theme with a black background and no content in the dropzone (text needs to be black as well). Disadvantage: The menu is still there and will play after the movie. You don't see it, but your disc keeps spinning in the player.
    3. Still quite easy but takes more time: Export the iMovie to DV tape, and then re-import using One-Step DVD.
Disadvantage: One-Step DVD creation has been known to be not 100% reliable.
    4. (My preferred method) Easy enough but needs 3rd party software: Roxio Toast lets you burn your iMovie to DVD without menu - just drag the iMovie project to the Toast Window and click burn. Disadvantage: you'll need to spend some extra $$ for the software. In Toast, you just drop the iMovie project on the Window and click Burn.
    5. The "hard way": Postproduction with myDVDedit (freeware)
    Tools necessary: myDVDedit ( http://www.mydvdedit.com )
    • create a disc image of your iDVD project, then double-click to mount it.
    • Extract the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders to a location of your choice. select the VIDEO_TS folder and hit Cmd + I to open the Inspector window
    • Set permissions to "read & write" and include all enclosed items; Ignore the warning.
    • Open the VIDEO_TS folder with myDVDedit. You'll find all items enclosed in your DVD in the left hand panel.
    • Select the menu (usually named VTS Menu) and delete it
    • Choose from the menu File > Test with DVD Player to see if your DVD behaves as planned. If it works save and close myDVDedit.
    • Before burning the folders to Video DVD, set permissions back to "read only", then create a disc image burnable with Disc Utility from a VIDEO_TS folder using Laine D. Lee's DVD Imager:
    http://lonestar.utsa.edu/llee/applescript/dvdimager.html
Our resident expert, Old Toad, also recommends this: there is a 3rd export/share option that give better results.  That's to use the Share ➙ Media Browser menu option.  Then in iDVD go to the Media Browser and drag the movie into iDVD where you want it.
    Hope this helps!
