How to burn images to cd using elements 12

Using Elements 12, how do we burn images to cd?

Hi,
Can you please tell us your operating system and why you want to burn them to CD.
For example, on a Windows system, if you just want to save a copy of the images to CD then you could use the organizer. Select the images you want to copy, go to the File menu and select Copy/Move to Removable Drive. Do NOT check the Move option as this would the remove the images from the hard drive.

    I asked a similar question once and the answer I got was - Don't.
    Instead, store the images on a drive somewhere and store the path in the database.
    But I'm no expert - that's just what I was told by someone who does this kind of stuff a lot.
    Hope that helps.

  • How to burn to DVD in Premiere Elements 8 to play on DVD recorder.

    I'm using Premiere Elements 8 with Windows 7, quad core i760 and 8 GB RAM. When I burn a project to disc, it will play on this PC but the disc is not recognised on my XP PC nor by my DVD recorder. My guess is that I'm burning as an HD DVD but can't see any way of changing this. Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

    Geoff, I think you're chasing the wrong issues. The least likely problem is that Premiere Elements is producing unreadable discs.
    Have you burned your DVD files to a folder on a hard drive rather than directly to a disc?
    Have you tried using DVD-Rs or DVD+Rs rather than DVD-RWs (which many DVD players can't read)?
    Your source files -- no matter where they come from -- will have no effect in how your DVD plays. Once it's all been transcoded, it's a matter of your disc player reading your disc. If that's not happening, you need to troubleshoot whether this issue is a problem with the discs themselves, a problem with your DVD player or a problem or a problem with your burner.
    Burning to a folder on your hard drive will eliminate Premiere Elements as the cause of the problem. If the program can produce a VIDEO_TS folder full of VOB files, then you know the problem is either in your discs or your hardware.

  • How to resize image in JSP using JAI ??!!

    Please help me how to resize an JPEG image from my JSP, could I use JAI lib ? how ?

    Hello,
    I had the same problem few months ago ( in that case i used Jimi instead of JAI).
    The answer to your question is: use the java class called "Image".
    Infact you can use JAI just for load or save to disk your image that you have to resize and then use the following code to resize the image :
    Image imgResized = img.getScaledInstance(100,1,Image.SCALE_AREA_AVERAGING);
    The object "img" is the image to resize and the object "imgResized" is the image resized with width equals to 100 and with a right height.
    I used Jimi just to save my image and i think that with JAI there is a method to do this.
    You can use JAI to load in memory your image too so you can avoid problem with MediaTraker class.
    I hope that this can help you.
    Cheers.

  • How to burn to DVD without using a menu

    How can I burn a project to DVD without using a menu? When I open iDVD, it wants me to select a menu. I just want my project to play without using any kind of menu. Can someone walk me through this? Thanks.

    If you use iDVD it is quite simple: after creating the iDVD project, open the tree view, where the project is presented as a tree of menus. Drag your movie from the finder to the top (root) node of the tree, and burn the DVD. Your movie will be played just after inserting the DVD in the player, without showing any menu.

  • How to separate image from alpha using Quartz Composer?

    Cross posting here and in the developers forums... (sorry for any duplication - also posting to the QC mail list)
    I'm attempting to construct a Quartz Composer composition that will take an image containing transparency, and — within the structure of that composition — disect the image so that I can perform separate operations on the alpha mask and the full image (i.e. as if the mask did not exist).  This would be akin to opening a PNG or TIFF in GraphicConverter, then accessing the images I want via Show Alpha Channel and Remove Alpha Channel.
    I'm able to easily access the alpha channel by applying a Color Martix patch to the image, but I can't seem to figure out how to get to the full "unmasked" image.
    Can anyone nudge me in the right direction as to how I could remove the alpha mask from an image?
    Thanks!!
    John

    Hi John,
    You could use the Core Image Filter to extract the Alpha channel as a mask, and then other filters to use that mask.
    In the 'Settings' pane of 'Patch Inspector' for the 'Core Image Filter' place the following Core Image Kernel routine code:
    A Core Image kernel routine
    Alpha to Mask White Opaque, Black Transparent
    kernel vec4 alphaToBlackWhite(sampler image)
    vec4 pixelValue = sample(image, samplerCoord(image)); // Get a pixel
              unpremultiply(pixelValue);
              pixelValue.r = pixelValue.a; // Red channel
              pixelValue.g = pixelValue.a; // Green channel
              pixelValue.b = pixelValue.a; // Blue channel
               pixelValue.a = 1.0; // Alpha Channel make Opaque
              return premultiply(pixelValue);
    Alternatively you could rewrite the above Kernel, more details on writing Core Image Kernels is in the developer documentation 'Image Tutorial: Writing Kernels'
    Hope this helps,
    Neil.

  • How to upload images to server using flex and blazeDS

    Hi All,
         Could you some help me, regarding uploading two images while click on the upload button. i am have two browse buttons and two upload buttons. i am able to select the image, while click on the browse button. but i am unable to upload the image, while click on the upload button. like this, i have to do in my application.
    if some help me i will appreciate , its very urgent.
    Thanks
    venkat

    When uploading a file, I use a byte array as a temporary buffer..
    So, you should then be able to store the byte array in the
    database as binary data.
    example>
    //Temporary Buffer To Store File
    byte[] tmpbuffer = new byte[860];
    //Some Code To Upload File...
    //File Should Now Be In Byte Array
    //Get DB Connection and execute Prepared Statement
    Connection con=//GET DB CONNECTION;
    String sql=insert into TABLE(page) values(?);
    PreparedStatement ps=con.prepareStatement(sql);
    ps.setBytes(1,tempbuffer);
    ps.executeUpdate();
    //Close PS and Free DB Connection
    ..... and this method looks like you dont even have
    to store the file in a byte array, you can just give
    it the input stream.
    ps.setBinaryStream(int, inputStream, int);
    You may have to make several attempts at this. I have
    uploaded a file and temporarily stored it in a byte array,
    but have never from there stored it in the DB as binary
    data.. but this looks like it'll work.
    Good Luck!
