I can see, that the question has been asked before, but I'll try my luck anyway...
It seems impossible to buy Adobe DPS pro edition - i've tried contacting support and have been redirected back and forth between sales and support with no luck. Their last suggestion was to use DPS contact form and somebody will contact me in the next 24 hours - I did that 2 days ago
I also tried a Latvian company, that was suggested buy the customer support, but they said that they are not selling DPS.
is my only option really just waiting and hoping that somebody will contact me?

Either take the Mac in for service at an Apple Store or AASP and pay the full service charge that includes the labor. Or purchase an equivalent battery from any good online store and put it in yourself, all for substantially less. Apple won't sell you the part directly, only to authorized service providers.

Well... Of course that i've tryed that in a first place, but...
1. There is no iStore and App store in Serbia, so i've opened (like 200.000 thousend users from Serbia) account on our friendly country who used to bomb us in 1999. USA!!! Heheheh...
2. Of course, i've tried to connect my debit VISA card to my USA account but all the time i get the message that my VISA is invalid... Of course!!!

Hi,
CON-SU1-AS2A10K9 contract if for ASA+IPS bundle. If AIP-SSM-10 ws purchased as a spare the contract would be CON-SU1-ASIP10K9.
I am not sure whether or not this Cisco Service for IPS contract can be used to cover just the AIP-SSM-10 if it was purchased as part of a Bundle instead of a Spare.
I would recommend that you check with your Cisco reseller or Cisco Sales Representative.

How to buy windows 7 for macbook air?

I want to finally buy and install windows 7 Home premium 32-bit or 64-bit so badly but i don't see the way of doing it.
Since my Macbook air 13" (mid 2012.)" doesn't have a CD slot i guess i have to buy it online and download it, but i don't see that option on microsoft windows site. I just see the option for buying a Windows 7 CD...
So please someone tell me how to buy this OS for installing on Macbook air 13"?
If i can use Windows 7 CD and install it on macbook air, how do i do it? What am i supposed to do with that CD, when i don't have CD slot?

I found the answer on my own again.
Just need to buy USB SuperDrive and that's it.

Tha's something you need to decide for yourself.
Do you think you need 16GB of memory or 8 will be enough?
Do you need to carry your macbook around with you more often? if so just get the 13" it's easier to carry.
Or maybe you enjoy watching media on a bigger screen?
As for word processing it shouldn't be a problem on both notebooks.
Also can you afford buying the 15"?
And what about the hard drive capacity?

I'm sure the problem is that you have the trial of iWork '09 installed. It's a "giitch" in the installer code that Apple has not fixed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

How to optimize macbook pro for video editing and 3d animation

Hello Everybody - I've had a macbook pro for about 5 years now. It works great, havn't had any issues with it yet, but I've started doing more video editing and 3D animation work on it with FCP7 and Blender (usually using photoshop at the same time). Even when I quit all other programs, it's not really able to handle many things I try to do in Blender (for example cloth simulation) and I end up waiting a while with the wheel of death and then having to force quit. I'm not in the position to buy an entirely new macbook pro right now - so I'm wondering if there are any ways I can modify my current macbook to render it more able to handle the heavy processing load?
Here are its specs:
Processor - 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory - 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
Startup Disk Macintosh HD 320 GB
Software - Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b)

Honestly, IMO, no. Even if you were to upgrade your HDD to a SSD, and increase your RAM, your CPU and GPU just aren't equipped for the tasks you ask of it (and there is no way to upgrade either your CPU or GPU). It would improve performance to upgrade these parts on your machine, no question, but ultimately, the processors would act as a bottleneck for performance/

I cannot figure out how to enable Acrobat 10 for commenting. When I click on Help, it tells me that I don't have a browser! (I tried everyone one I have, same result).
Both these features worked fine in Acrobat Pro 9. I need help here...

How to package DPS Tools for InDesign CC

We are using the creative cloud packager to deploy Adobe CC at my College. I tried integrating the DPS tools version 32 for Indesign CC 2014 :

But it doesn't work. Here's what I tried
Start Indesign and go in Help > updates. Doesn't work because it is greyed out
Building a new package and give it the path to the patch folder (AdobeDigitalPublishingCC2014)
Simply double click on the patch on one of the computers. Doesn't work, it says that the updates are disabled.
Is there a way to enable software updates once Adobe CC is deployed? If not, how can we package the updates in our installer.

How to buy Snow Leopard for education use?

We are a college located in the UK. Our Media Department has recently purchased several new Macs which have come with the latest Mac OS X on them. They need to be able to run certain pieces of software which require Snow Leopard as the newer versions are not fit for purpose (e.g. Final Cut Pro). We would like to know how to purchase the necessary licenses from Apple. We already tried telephoning but were told that Snow Leopard is not available from the Education Store and we would have to purchase it through the regular Consumer Store, but it does not show up on the Consumer Store web site at all (http://store.apple.com/uk). We have checked on this forum but other similar topics only have US telephone numbers to call - we need a UK one.

My best guess would be amazon or ebay, and it probably won't be cheap.
If you get a new Mac, it may or may not run SL. We got a bunch of iMacs this summer model MC978LL/A - these are i3 based Macs that are only availble for schools, and they will run SL. I have no idea if other new models will run SL.
