So on iTunes via iPod touch 4g. How do you buy and hd movie? Does a screen pop up saying do you want this version or hd? I'm a bit confused if it would just download normal version only and not hd right away. I want to buy a movie in hd but idk if the normal version would download instead. Help

You can connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, that should copy it over to the Movies part of your library.
Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the film studio allows it, you might also be able to re-download it on your Mac via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page.

How do I buy a movie on iTunes for my wife?

I want to buy a movie for my wife's iPad 4 from iTunes. Aside from giving her a gift certificate, How can I do that? Of course, iTunes is of ABSOLUTELY NO HELP and there is no way to contact them. For being so greedy, they are immensely stupid when it comes to dealing with customers... I apologize for the rant but it is frustrating dealing with the "geniuses" at Apple.
Anyway, please advise if you have any insight.

If you don't have the option to buy then there's nothing you can do about it. The film studios are the one that decide how the movies are consumed. (Maybe it's new and just released).

Assuming it's in a supported format (which is likely), simply sync your iPad to iTunes on your computer. Make sure you have specified that you would like to sync movies on the "movies" tab on the top right of the iTunes display (when your iPad is plugged in and its row highlighted).

Check the songs are really not in the Music section of the library by clicking the magnifying glass in the search box and unticking Search Entire Library if it is ticked, then typing in the name of the album. If the tracks still don't show try closing iTunes and deleting a hidden file called sentinel from inside your iTunes folder. This should make iTunes run an integrity check on the database when you start it again. Make sure the tracks are checked before you try syncing again.

you can't, unless you fulfill these requirements:
