I cannot imagine any official site but that is only part of the problem ... reliable as a Mac generally is, you still need service facilities; how do you take advantage of any guarantee and the Apple Care facility will not be open to you.

I think I got a little ahead of myself explaining my problem, so let me clarify...
Only the one iMac is having the network file deletion problem, but it is included in the network user logon problem. So 4 out of 5 of the iMacs have had or are having logon problems with network users accounts using mobile accounts on the systems. 2 of the 4 I have wiped and started over on and the other 2 have different network accounts being used by the primary system users. The 5th iMac has not caused any problems except I forgot to mention that the USB on it seems flaky.
So we are apparently full of problems.

I am interested in purchasing "x" ITunes gift cards and shipping them to one of the countries in the Gulf like Qatar, Dubai, or Abu Dhabi. My question to you is, is that possible without running into any legal issues or so forth? Are you referring to making purchases from the ITunes store? Or are you saying that in order for me to make purchases from the Apple store, I have to be in the United States to do so?
I would appreciate it if you could explain a little bit more about the last part of your response, "are there other music purchases download sites that you have access to, or you can copy your own CDs via your computer's iTunes." I am interested in this too. Thanks.

How to use iMac w/Airport and DSL connection as a wireless router ???

My iMac G5 (with Airport) is connected via Ethernet to a DSL modem.
I want to connect my iBook G3 (non-Airport) wirelessly through the G5 to access the internet in a small home network, (without a standalone router).
I have a USB adapter (ASUS wl-167G) and MAC OS drivers for the iBook. I seem to be getting a connection to the Airport card in the G5, but nothing to the modem with Safari or Firefox.
I need some detailed instructions on setting up the iMac to access the DSL normally AND pass through a wireless connection for the iBook.
Future plans are to buy an Airport Express for stereo and printer purposes.
If using the Express will greatly simplify what I'm trying to do here, please advise so, (and how), and I'll get one now.

Thanks sig, but I am already set up that way. Also in sharing>internet>
Airport options: channel-automatic, firewall-off, services-on (file sharing,Etc.)
Network Status shows: Built -in -Ethernet, active and a IP address. Airport, sharing is on and using Airport and an ID #
I also tried setting Airport to channel 11 (what the USB "Dongle" is connected to).
Still no joy.
I think I may need to manually configure both Airport TCP/IP in the iMac, and the USB Adapter in the iBook but I don't know what values to enter for IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Router.
In way over my head, here. Any additional help is greatly appreciated.

How to format imac without cd and system password?

I don't have the installation cds and i dont know the admin password of imac.

You are basically out of luck without a set of OS X install discs to boot from to either change the iMac's password or using Disk Utility to reformat the disk.
If you can't login to your iMac, you can't do anything.
You do not mention the year and CPU speed or your iMac.
There are two thing you can do. Called Apple at 1-800-MYAPPLE ask for software sales and ask about purchasing a replacement set of installation disks of the ones that originally came with your iMac. You will need to supply your iMac's serial number to receive the proper discs.
They are not free and the cost will vary depending on where these discs are shipped. I paid $18 U.S. Dollars for my replacement set of OEM install discs, shipping was included.
Second thing is I noticed you are on OS X 10.5 Leopard. If your Mac is an Intel model, you could, also, upgrade the OS X version to OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard by ordering a set of OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard discs from Apple's retail store site. These discs are $19.99 U.S. and you would be running a more recent OS as OS X Leopard is over six years, almost seven years old.

Yesterday I uploaded Yosemite 10.10.2 thinking it was fixed by now. In Mail, my POP account gets this error message: Mail cannot send your password securely to the server. You can remove this restriction in the Accounts preferences by setting “Allow insecure authentication”, which could put your password at risk.
My provider says it's an Apple issue. The gmail accounts are logging in fine. Any help? Something simple?

Thanks Csound1. That did work and Mail was able to connect to the internet. Green light status. Is it because of my provider that I may never have had secure connections? Is that an Apple thing or do PCs have the same issues? Appreciate your help. I'll research insecure connections as I am ignorant of the consequences.

Does Premiere Pro CS5 mercury engine work with my imac 27 inch?

I have a 27 inch imac that I bought 4 months ago. Yesterday I upgraded my Creative Suite Production Premium CS4 to CS5. It costs a lot more do to that when you live in Japan (about $300 more). I installed it all and to my disappoinment I can't access PPro's new mercury engine on 64 bit. I read the specs and I thought my computer is capable. Can somebody please tell me if my specs are good? imac is a total disappoinment in that they will not replace any parts!!! I have two very expensive items (imac 27 inch and Adobe CS5). Can I not utilize the mercury engine in P PRo? I will be so sad if that is the case. I've called apple and they say they won't change the graphic card or CPU if those are my problems. Which means I'll have two great things, my new imac and new Adobe soft and I can't use them together.
Anyways, here are my specs. I hope someone can shed some light on this matter for me. I'm hoping I just don't have my PP settings right. Thanks in advance!

Thank you kindly for your reply. I figured I was only able to use software only MPE as that is why it is all greyed out in my preferences. I was hoping I had not done something simple that would fix the issue.
So after reading a lot on here about MPE my question is this:
Is soft only MPE 64 bit? Is it still significantly better than my CS4 P.Pro that I had or did I just waste a crap of money on the upgrade? What does soft only MPE have to offer? so far my editing doesn't really seem to be much faster but I haven't put it to test yet. And of course, the render line is always red and not yellow like all those fantastic videos show when they're bragging about how cool Hardware accelerated MPE is.
If feel like I got robbed.

Oh, one more thing. In the near future, "could" a driver update for my ATI Radeon HD 4850 possibly fix this issue? imacs will NOT replace CPU or GPU. For that, I am really, really annoyed. The main reason I bought this computer with the specs was to use Adobe at its best.

ASUS PB278Q with iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010) using DisplayPort

Hi,
I bought a new display ASUS PB278Q (27-inch). So I can use my PC with a bigger screen and also extend my iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010) with it.
I'm using OSX 10.9.5
- Idea was to connect my PC to monitor using DualLink-DVI cable - which worked fine. %
- My iMac to monitor using Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable - after that display says -- DisplayPort - No signal --
Could it be that the cable is wrong? Or what can it be

Solved.
I bought better Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort -cable and then the resolution from iMac to ASUS PB278Q got the wanted 2560*1440.
Now I'm happy.
Resolution out from
- PC is 2560*1440 via DualLink DVI-cable
- iMac is 2560*1440 via Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort -cable and for both screens, iMac 27-inch and ASUS 27-inch
- Playstation 3 is 1920*1080 via HDMI-cable

Does the new iMac (27 inche) have thunderbolt in-put?

Im planning to buy the new iMac 27 inche, and I'm wondering if you can use it to play ps3, Xbox 2013, bluray player ext... With thunderbolt to hdmi cable!

I believe the source of the video needs to also have a Thunderbolt port, so it goes from a Thunderbolt port to the iMac's Thunderbolt port.

In addition your screen shots cannot be seen, in order to take a screen shot Shift - Command - F4 and capture the portion of the screen you want. Then use the camera icon in the reply box to this post to attach the file and place it where you want.

Sold to Party and Ship to party field are in grey out mode in VA01.

I am facing a very critical situation, Please help me on this.
While creating the sales order by VA01, the Sold to Party and Ship to Party field are in grey out, so we cannot enter sold to party and ship to party. This is happening for all Order types.
And while checking the existing sales order by VA02, so I found that at Header level and Item level the Partner tab are disable
( mena partner tab are in grey mode,).
But when we click on sold to party field in VA02 it directly moves to partner but all Partner shown in Sales tab.
I have check all the partner function and partner determination configuration.
So can any one help me out in this, how in VA01 sold to party and ship to party field are in grey out mode.
How in VA02 the partner tab are disable.?

Now for sales order type you need to assign the partner determination process
SPRO
Sales and Distribution
Basic Functions
Partner Determination
Set Up Partner Determination
Execute
Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header
Select TA - standard order from the right side list
and select Partner Determination Procedure Assignment (from left)
Now assign your sales type to Partner determination TA.
Create a SALES order you can find the sold to and ship to are editable.
