How to buy the official release?

I installed on my Mac mini GM just for try. Now I want to buy an official release for use. But I have statement "installed" at the Lion 10.7
I tried to buy from my all 3 different MBP with SL 10.6.8 installed. The same situation at the app store. Wrong statement "installed". So my questions is how to buy an official release in my situation.
Thank you!

Did you get the GM legally? I.e. you were part of the developer release or beta testing.
If not, then reinstall Snow Leopard and then purchase Lion through the Mac App Store.

  • How to get the Last releaser of PR ?

    Dear Expert,
I am working on PR release Workflow. As it is Overall relase so I am using BUS2105. Depending different value and document type differen person is responsible for relasing the PR.I got the requirement that when  the last releasing authority will release the PR only then the Procurement manger should get the information to raise PO.
I can send the information after any release but I am not able to find any way to send him after the final release.
I found the the Field FRGKZ the release indicator of Table EBAN is gettin the Value 02, Blocked for PO.
I tried to use this one in WF container but it is not getting the Value.
Can Anyone help me , How I can achieve the Requirement.
    Regards
    Sony

Hope you are using the Standard workfow WS20000077 for PR. As per the design, notification is sent to the WF Initiator after each and every release.
Inorder to avoid this and to send notification only one time, copy the standard workflow and customize it as follows:
    1) Customize the Buiness Object BUS2105 and add a new method. use the sample code for reference.
    DATA: z_ind_task type FRGKZ.
    DATA: z_rel type FRGKZ.
    DATA: zpr like eban-banfn.
    swc_get_element container 'z_prnum' zpr.
    if sy-subrc EQ 0.
    endif.
select FRGKZ from eban into z_ind_task where banfn = zpr.
    endselect.
    swc_set_element container 'z_ind_task' z_ind_task.
    2)  Create a background task and use the above method in the task. (to find release indicator).
    3)  Insert the task created in step 2 above the "Requisition Released" step in workflow template.
    4) put a condition step which says if the release indicator is 2 only then the "Requisiton Released" Step will be processed otherwise it wont be processed before final release and hence you can avoid multiple notifications after each release.
Hope it gives you some idea....

    PR.

  • Serie U : How to buy the laptop in orange or in bronze?

    Hello,
As you already know, the IdeaPad Serie U is decline into several colors like blue, red, grey. But the URL below displays an image showing two additional colors : orange and bronze.
    http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/frweb/LenovoPortal/fr_FR/catalog.workflow:expandcate...
Do you know how to buy a Lenovo Serie U Laptop in orange or in bronze?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
    Regards,

So you have some sort browser with a scrolable view. As scrolling is preformed you add the newly revealed area to an an image. As more area is revealed, the image is made larger to paint the new area in addition to the old area. Ideally when the whole view has been looked at and scrolled through, then the image reflects the entirety of the view. The problem is, on one particular laptop when the user scrolls, the status bar keeps appearing as part of the newly added area, so you end up with an image of the view along with a bunch of status bars painted in various places of the image.
    Am I correct so far?
If so, then I guess the question is are we even dealing with Swing components? Why can't you just call
    myScrollPane.getViewport().getView();and paint that?

  • How to buy the 1TB PCIe-based Flash Storage ?

    Hi,
I own a MacBook Pro retina 2012/2013 with 256GB ssd,
I want to upgrade to the new 1TB PCIe-based Flash Storage.
I tried talking to apple support and was told they wont upgrade my macbook.
And that i should buy the SSD as a stand alone part and install it myself.
I have no problem installing it myself but I cant find it as a stand alone product.
The guy in support told me I can get it in the apple store. I went there and they dont sell it.
    Anyone have the same problem?
    Thanks

I want to upgrade to the new 1TB PCIe-based Flash Storage.
Honestly, do you NEED 1tb SSD?
You need to change the premise of your SSD use.
    see here:
Your Solid State Drive and having enough space inside your Macbook Air & Pro
Solid State Drive usage premise, or the “more space / upgrade SSD” question
There have been questions posed and positions taken by many people who are trying to use their Macbook Air or Pro’s solid state drive (SSD) as a mass media storage device, for either pictures, videos, massive music collections or all three combined; but this should not be the working premise of a ‘limited’ SSD and its use.
In which, it’s the case of those users with either 128GB, 256GB, or even 512GB of internal SSD space, that have or are running “out of space”, that questions are raised. The immediate premise of some users can sometimes be “(how to / if) upgrading my SSD” when in fact in nearly all instances another approach is the logical and sensible one that needs to be looked into and exercised.
Any Macbook containing a SSD should be idealized as a ‘working platform’ notebook containing all your applications, documents, and weekly or bi-weekly necessary files. All collections of media files such as pictures, music, and videos, unless directly needed should be kept off the notebook and on an external hard drive or likewise. While the ‘working platform’ premise is also the case with larger internal conventional hard drives of 1TB+, its implementation isn't as critical except in terms of data protection.
Realistically, you should at most coordinate roughly 20 to 25% of your total SSD space to all audio-video personal use media (picture / music / video collections), leaving the remaining amount on an external HD.
Nobody should consider any notebook a data storage device at any time under any circumstance, rather a data creation, sending, and manipulation device; and in the case of a SSD, this is more important for purposes of having sufficient working space on the SSD and reducing SSD ‘bloat’ in which cases someone is wrongly attempting to use the SSD space as a large media storage nexus.
The rare exception to the collective usage and premise of SSD use in which a much larger SSD is truly needed are for those in video and photography professions that require both the extremely fast speeds of the SSD and the onboard storage for large and or many video and photography files. However this also falls under the premise of a ‘working platform’ for such peoples rather than the intent of many who are using the SSD as passive and static data storage for media files very infrequently needed or accessed.
All on-notebook data collections should be logically approached as to necessity, and evaluated as to whether it is active or passive data that likely doesn’t need to be on the notebook, allocations of space-percentages to as-needed work and use, apportioning space for your entertainment media, and questioning whether it should it be on the notebook for more than short-term consumption.
Considerations should be made in the mind of any user in differentiating the necessary system data (System hub) comprising the Mac OSX, applications, necessary documents that both must and should be on your internal SSD, and that of the users personal data (Data hub) comprising created files, pictures, music, videos, PDF files, data created or being created and otherwise, that likely unless being used soon or often should be parked on an external hard drive for consumption, or temporarily loading onto the internal SSD.
You both can and should purchase whichever SSD size you need or see fit, but even in the case of the largest of SSD, unless use-considerations are made, and SSD spaces are allocated as should be the case indicated above, one can easily and immediately run into this quandary of “needing more internal SSD space”, in which instance a different approach in usage must then be implemented.
However it is almost always the case, that such large media files are wanted to be stored internally rather than actually needed, in which case the external HD is both prudent as well as necessary. Additionally costs per MB are infinitely less on an external HD than an internal SSD in any consideration of data expansion needs.
    A Professional Example
In the case of a Macbook Air or Macbook Pro Retina with ‘limited’ storage on the SSD, this distinction becomes more important in that in an ever rapidly increasing file-size world, you keep vital large media files, pics, video, PDF collections, music off your SSD and archived on external storage, for sake of the necessary room for your system to have free space to operate, store future applications and general workspace.
You should also never be put in the position of considering “deleting things” on your Macbook SSD in order to ‘make space’. This is especially what your external HD is for.
Professionals who create and import very large amounts of data have almost no change in the available space on their notebooks internal SSD because they are constantly archiving data to arrays of external or networked HD.
Or in the case of the consumer this means you keep folders for large imported or created data and you ritually offload and archive this data for safekeeping, not only to safeguard the data in case your Macbook has a SSD crash, or gets stolen, but importantly in keeping the ‘breathing room’ open for your notebook to operate, expand, create files, add applications, for your APPS to create temp files, and for general operation.
Slim USB3 1TB external hard drive
    External Hard Drives
External hard drives are both extremely cheap and regardless of the size of your internal SSD (or even internal hard drive if the case), you need an external hard drive with your SSD equipped Macbook for several reasons:
    1. Data backup and protection.
    2. Redundancy for important data.
    3. Necessitated ideal space for large media files for collections of pictures, videos, and music etc.
While ever changing in price, typical portable 2.5” external hard drives in USB3 run roughly $65 for 1TB or $120 for 2TB small portable USB3 hard drives. Such drives range in thickness between 5mm and 15mm, with recent improvements in storage of 500GB drives in 5mm profiles.
There is almost no premise in which a small 12mm thick 1 Terabyte USB hard drive cannot be taken along with any Macbook as an external large storage extension inside any Macbook carry case or pouch. Typically such external HD profiles are not much bigger than a deck of cards.
External hard drives are a foregone necessity for purchase with any Macbook for at the very least Time Machine backups, data redundancies, and ideally for large media storage.

  • How and when the database release a row lock?

    Dear experts,
We are using the following statement to obtain a row lock in a table in the database(ORACLE of course),
SELECT * FROM {TABLE_NAME} WHERE ID = 1 for update
and if we succeed grabbing the row lock we will continue to issue a update statement every 30 seconds to preserve the lock as far as possible.
here is the update statement to preserve the lock,
    UPDATE {TABLE_NAME} SET time = ? WHERE ID = 1.
As you see more longer we keep holding the row lock , more update statements are submitted in the pending transaction.
In normal case our application can grab the exclusive row lock and works for a long time, however sometimes a connection reset exception is thrown
and our application will close the connection(I assume the pending transaction will be rolled back by the database) and exit the JVM.
Since other applications will keep trying to grab the same row lock to become the master role,
we expect one of them can succeed but they are all failed because the database has not released the row lock as expected.
Can someone explain more details about how and when the row lock can get released in our use case?
    Thanks,
    SuoNayi

Hm. Is this part of an XA transaction by any chance? I know that Oracle maintains separate bookkeeping for such transactions which can cause rows to stay 'locked' even when the regular DBA views will indicate there is no user currently locking the record at all. I have no idea about the actual details and what you need to do to clean up such a situation, that is something a DBA should know and do.
If not... well this is more of a question for people who know the DBMS, which makes it a target for the Oracle DBMS forums. Java developers don't tend to have DBA-level knowledge of the database, you should ask the question where you have more chance of people with expertise answering stuff:

  • HT202858 How to manage the officially Yosemite trusted certificates

    I've read the article:
HT202858: OS X Yosemite: List of available trusted root certificates
    and it's - probably - complete, but...
There are in total 214 entries in my System Roots list of valid Certificates. Some of them dubious, some from governments that are not even trusted by their own people, and some next to "anonymous" in content. This amount of "trust" is plain crazy. Over 200 "trusted" certificates makes a mockery of the whole CA system.
Anyone know of a software, that allows:
         1. Compare this list with the official Apple certified list? It's pure **** to do it manually.
         2. Enable bulk export and blocking of certificates based on i.e. country, region etc. I see no reason to have basic trust of more than a few handfull of CA's.
It would have been nice, if I could just activate an "ask before trusting", allowing me to decide, which certificates I need to trust, and which not. As it is, I can either "always accept" and "never accept"; neither is really a help. I see no reason for trusting some of the more obscure CA's from the list, and in Europe trust of a DoD Root certificate maybe is not advisable in general use. I've just removed my trust for the CA of the chinese reailways. I have to start somewhere. Maybe a few turkish, far east, basque and other obscure CA issuers should be treated the same way. In addition to the usual culprits representing DoD, GCHQ, NSA and other suspect agencies and organisations with three or four letter names.
Maybe I never need to trust them - who knows?
There seems to exist a list, that is maintained under this link:
         https://github.com/chengr28/RevokeChinaCerts/wiki/ReadMe
but I do not know how trustworthy and reliable the "removal" process is. Has anyone tested the shell scripts for Mac?
Would you trust more than 20, 25 or - tops - 30 CA's from a select range of countries? You'll have to, but the current and extremely inflexible system makes a mockery of the whole CA mechanism. Especially in a world where most governments - if not all - are decidedly untrustworthy.

  • How to check the Oracle Release?

    Hi,
How to check the release version in Oracle AS ?
    And
How to find what oracle AS release has happened in year (example 2005)?
    Best Regards

There are a couple of ways I use to find the version:
    1. Open the Oracle Universal Installer on the machine where the OAS is installed, click on Installed Products. That should display the product and the version number.
    2. Set the oracle environment variables, then run the command below
    +$ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre/bin/java -jar $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/oc4j.jar -version+
This should display the version of the OC4J which generally is the version of the OAS (unless you have applied any one-off patches)
Have no idea about the second part of your question. Sorry.
