How to Use the language function for assignment and validation
Hi All,
If anyone can explain me in details with example ,how to use the language function for assignments and validations?
Thanks
ArnabHi Arnab,
The expression is checked only for the current MDM session.
If u login with the ABC language it will always show the ABC language no matter how many times u execute it.
Try connecting to the DM with the XYZ language.
It should go to the if part rather than else.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,

is it working for restricted key figure and calculated key figure ??
Note Number Fisc Period Opening Days
1 1 2
2 1 3
3 1 0
because I have other restriction, so I create two restricted key figure..
RK1 with restriction : Total Number of Note,
RK2 with restriction : Total Opening Days ,
then I Created a calculated key figure, average opening days in a period
CK1 = RK2 / RK1..
in this case, I am not sure if it will work or not..
for example, during RK2 calclation, it might be this 2+3 = 5, the line with 0 will be ignored..
during RK1 calcualtion, it might be 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. ---> Not sure in this case, the line with opening days 0 will be calculated or not..
could you please confirm.. -
How to calculate the Processing time for material based on its route ?
Hello experts,
I would like to calculate the Scheduled in-house production time based on route.
Actually this is done in the prod. route in tcode CA02. (via menu Extras => scheduling => schedule).
After getting the schedule table press the 'scheduling results' button I received the Processing time, Setup and teardown time,... Scheduled in-house production time.
So I'm looking for a function or any tool to use it in report.
thanks,
Elihi,
from routing screen,extras>scheduling>schedule(give a variant name)>scheduling results>update material master.this writes the info in the temp file.use tcode CA96 to update material master.this updates lot size dependent in house production time in work scheduling view of material master and deletes the lot size independent inhouse prod, time in MRP2 view.this tool gives more accurate results for your inhouse prod. time.

How to write the dynamic code for RadioGroupByKey and Check Boxes?
Hi,
Experts,
I have created a WD ABAP application in that i have used RadioGroupByKey and CheckBox Ui elements but i want how to write the dynamic code to that i want to display male and female to RadioGroupByKey and 10 lables to check boxs.
Please pass me some idea on it and send any documents on it .
Thanks in advance ,
Shabeer ahmed.Refer this for check box:
Do check :
bind_checked property is bind to a node with cardinality of 1:1
CHECK_BOX_NODE <---node name
-CHECK_BOX_VALUE <--attribute name of type wdy_boolean
put this code under your WDDOMODIFYVIEW:
DATA:
lr_container TYPE REF TO cl_wd_uielement_container,
lr_checkbox TYPE REF TO cl_wd_checkbox.
get a pointer to the RootUIElementContainer
lr_container ?= view->get_element( 'ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER' ).
lr_checkbox = cl_wd_checkbox=>new_checkbox(
text = 'WD_Processor'
bind_checked = 'CHECK_BOX_NODE.CHECK_BOX_VALUE'
view = view ).
cl_wd_matrix_data=>new_matrix_data( element = lr_checkbox ).
lr_container->add_child( lr_checkbox ).

How to know the right value for SHMMAX and SHMALL for ia64 memory 32Gb
Dear all,
I want to install Oracle database 10g R2 on RHEL 5 ia64.
Here the server specification :
Proc : itanium64 ( montecito )
Mem : 32Gb
# getconf PAGE_SIZE = 16384
Metalink says, that SHMMAX should be half of physical memory and SHMALL = SHMMAX / PAGE_SIZE.
kernel.shmmax = 17179869184
kernel.shmall = 1048576
My Question is this is right value for SHMMAX and SHMALL on my server..??
Thank youif shmmax is half the ram then what should be sga
sga size should anyhow should be less then shmmax ,means we cannot increase sga size more than half the ram
then how ROT for SGA that should be 70% of RAM hold good -
How to use the Smart Cover for FaceTime and Videos?
Hi,
I bought a new iPad recently with a Smart Cover. I find the Smart Cover very good for typing, at the low angle. The angle is very nice, it feels very comfortable and it allows fast typing. But then what is called the FaceTime/Video angle seems way too steep for me, like 80 degrees. I need to be like 3 meters away, at least, to watch a movie correctly or to be captured by the FaceTime camera. I'm rather tall but still, I don't really get it. I thought for the first couple of days that I was folding the cover in a wrong way but it seems not.
Am I the only one to experience this issue? Or is there another way of folding the cover to get a correct angle? I haven't tried another Smart Cover but I would doubt that mine is faulty. But if it is how the Smart Cover is designed, I'm surprised that Apple went with that, I mean, I can't see the use of this angle, if you need to be so far away from the iPad. I actually bought one (and the Smart Cover) to use it as a support for books/tutorials when I'm coding on my Mac, and I'm finding that I can't find a place for the iPad with the cover on my desk because it ends up to be too steep anywhere I place it...godbout wrote: ... Am I the only one to experience this issue? Or is there another way of folding the cover to get a correct angle?
My experience is the same as yours (and everyone else's, I suppose.)
Other than the various ways you can fold it, Smart Cover is not adjustable.
This link shows what Smart Cover can do.
You have already found the best workaround for Smart Cover: reposition yourself, the iPad, or both so the camera view shows what you want in the picture.
You decide the best location for your iPad while you capture video. Because iPad connects wirelessly, you need not worry about dangling cables.

How to Calculate the total orders for Items with supplier
How do I write a function or SQL query that will give me the total quantity of an item that an organization has on order with other suppliers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
It would help if you provided the description of the tables.
To do totals by say item_id
select item_id, sum(quantity)
from supply_table A
where org_id = 1
and exists (select 1 from supplier B
where a.org_id = b.org_id )
group by item_id
How do I write a function or SQL query that will give me the total quantity of an item that an organization has on order with other suppliers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. -
I found that every time when I want to update the iphotos and imovies and the native apps in the mac book it is needed to use the first apple id that used for the first time you turn on the mac book.
Since that id is not used now and i want to change it, any body knows how to change it?
And although my current admin id has changed, but still when updating iphotos the very first id is needed...abelard.xu wrote:

Correct. Apps are Tied to the Apple ID that Purchased them...
From Here http://support.apple.com/kb/HE37
I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs. -

I`m getting error message like "None of the apps in your project can be activated in the target. The manifest file of one or more apps contain API sets or Office applications that are not supported by
the target Office client. To debug those apps, update manifest files to exclude any unsupported API sets or Office applications, and then start the project again. Alternatively, you can debug your apps by using Office 365 as a target." when when
updating the JavaScript API for Office and manifest schema files in your Visual Studio project from version 1.0 to 1.1 in manifest file though i have added host elements.
any help in this regard is highly appreciated
Thanks,
Santosh SutarHi Satosh Sutar,
Based on the description, you got the error message when you update the apps from version 1.0 to 1.1.
From the error message, it seems the menifest include some settings no allowed in the new version. Would you mind sharing more detail about how you update the project?
And here is an article about updating apps for Office and menifest schema files in the project for your reference:
