How to call a actionMethod from EL?

Hi all,
I have the following code
<af:outputText value="#{bindings.getYCWarningMsg.execute}" id="ot35" partialTriggers="t1"/>
getYCWarningMsg() is a method provided by AM, and will return a String which I want to display in the screen.
How to invoke the getYCWarningMsg() from the EL, I try "#{bindings.getYCWarningMsg.execute}" and "#{bindings.getYCWarningMsg.result}", none of them execute the method...

Hi, I try it. It does not work properly.
The page def file generates 3 related parts after I darg the return value of this method to the page as output text:

However, there is a yellow underscore on <Item Value="getYCWarningMsg_return"/> saying that Reference getYCWarningMsg_return not found. And I can see that the method in the back end is not executed
