How to call a view from Interface view

Folks,
How to call a view from interface view (onPlugDefault method) . I was trying to set context of controller but it is not working . What is the work around.

Hi Manish,
An interface view is created for each window that you have, which in-turn has views embedded, one of which is default. If you want to pass data which you have in your interface view, do the following
- Add your component controller in your interface view properties
- In the onPlugDefault method(I assume this is where you have the data available through URL parameters),set the component controller context variables like
wdThis.wdGetComContr.wdGetContext().currentContextElement().setName("John");
-Access these context variables in your view as well by adding the component controller as the required controller
Your default view will appear automatically when you call the application.

Hi Kausic,
Its not possible to call a method from view to View.
Since view is private entity we can not pass the data directly.
I suggest you to declare the method in Component/Custom controller and call.
the code is,
wdThis.wdGet<Component/Custom Name>Controller().<methodName>();

i am trying to pass data from one component to other component via exposing the interface view controller of second component to 1st component via Used Webdynpro Component concept.
I am able to navigate from one component view to 2nd component view with the action of fireplug from 1st to 2nd. but i am not able to do
vise versa.
What i got, after embedding the 2nd view in the 1st component window, inbound plug is created automatically. If in the same view(embedded interface view) i try to place out bound plug i m not able to do. how to get this navigation from 2nd view to 1st view.
Please help me out.

now to do vis versa you have to do all this things for other component. I mean expose 2nd component via Used WD component concept. now embed 1st view in 2nd component window. just reverse of what you did till now.
and take a view set where in first view area show the first navigation, and in the second view area of view set show the second navigation.

I have 2 views in my Adobe Flash Builder mobile app. I need to refer the first view in my second view.
How to refer one view from another view? Or how to create a reference to a view wherever needed?

I don't need any data from my first view. In a certain flow, I need to make my first view to be invisible.
for eg., My First view is in portrait mode. I change the device to Landscape. In the landscape mode, I want to show a completely different view (second view).
In this case, what happens is, I see my first view in Landscape mode for a second. Then the second view appears. When I change to Landscape mode, only the second view should be seen. I need to make my first view to be completely invisible in the OnOrientationChanging event of

As stage object and StageOrientationEvent works at application level, I need to know how to refer my first view object in the application level.

If you want to look at XML form like the are designed in your form builder you need to work with a navigation iview to the folder that contains you XML forms. You need to set the layout of the navigation iview to Newsbrowser or NewsExplorer or a derived layout.
From here the form is renderer as a form.
If you only want to show this one form I would suggest to open it in this last view in the described navigation iview and use the url in for example an url iview. This will be the quickest.

I am getting error "Bad query:ORA-00904: invalid identifier" while calling function in the mapping of an interface.

You have 2 types of calls. SQL and PL/SQL.

This depends on the version of your Netweaver Java AS. If you are running 7.0, you will have to use the Jco framework. The Jco framework is deprecated since 7.1 though. If you want to build a RFC server in 7.1 or higher, it is adviced that you set it up through JRA.

We want to call RFC in R/3 from webdynpro ABAP.
How can we do that?
We are developing the web report using webdynpro abap.
So we need some of R/3 data such like PR(EBAN)and PO(EKKO,EKPO).
When user choose the search parameter, report diplay the Shopping cart, PR and PO data on webdynpro. So we call the R/3 RFC to display the PR, PO data.
But I tired to call the RFC in R/3, We could not call it.
How to call the RFC from R/3 to SRM, when we use webdynpro abap?
