If you bought it on a device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) and it's still on there then you should be able to copyit over via File > Transfer Purchases. Otherwise if you are in the US then you might be able to re-download via the Purchased section under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer - but not all film studios are currently allowing their films to be re-downloaded and it's only possible with US iTunes accounts.

As long as it's been fully downloaded then you shouldn't need to be online in order to watch it.
As to how long you have to watch it, from here :
You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.

You cannot import contacts from your Nano to your PC via iTunes. The syncing process is only one way. However, if you enable disk mode on your iPod, open it up in a Windows Explorer window, you should see a Contacts folder. From there you can copy them back over to your PC.
Even though this article is talking about adding contacts to the PC, it should walk you through some of the steps mentioned above.
