How to capture a mouse click.

I have two blocks A and B. I enter some data in form A, then enter some data in block B.
Before I hit save button, I want to take the focus from key commit trigger to take the focus to block A ( taking the foucus will populate item x in B block with item x in block A) and look through all the rows in block a and mimic a mouse click on each row.
How can that be done.
Thanks

If you have a commit button on your canvas, in its when-button-pressed trigger, there should be only one line:
EXECUTE_TRIGGER('KEY-COMMIT');
You should create a key-commit trigger only at the form-level, and in it, you can write a pl/sql loop:go_block('A');
first_record;
loop
  exit when :system.record_status='NEW';
  -- do here whatever it is that you need to do if
  -- a mouse-click occurs in the record.
  exit when :system.last_record='TRUE';
  next_record;
end loop;
first_record;
commit_form;

    How can i call mouse click event from keypress event???
    I want same GUI changes to be occured at key press.....i.e . button going down & comming up.....

    Put all the code that happens on those events into a method. Then call that method from both events.

  • How to remap Ctrl + Mouse click

    Hi, I searched but couldn't find an answer.
    My kid tore a handful of keys out of my PowerBook keyboard. I fixed most of them (to my surprise), apart from the Ctrl key which was torn out 'with meat', so to speak — it now wobbles and falls off every time I press it.
    How do I remap 'Ctrl + mouse click' to 'option + mouse click', for example? The list of keyboard shortcuts doesn't have this choice.
    I'll bring it to repairs later on... but I need my machine for a whole week of high profile presentations starting tomorrow. Couldn't be the worst time for this.
    Appreciate your help.

    Ah, thanks goodness — I took my keyboard apart and fixed the button. It's now just a bit raised over the rest of the keys but it's operation is back to normal.
    Sheesh — I was almost 'forced' to switch to MBP ahead of my plans!

  • Capture right mouse click in image

    I would like to capture a right mouse click while pointing into am image window.
    So far I've come only to the possibilty to capture events that originate somehow with the left mouse click.
    Or
    Are specific to the front panel of the currently active VI
    Or
    Detect whether at the time of calling a subVI the button is down or up, with all the usual hazzel of detecting the transition (plus the necessity of depending on MS Driect X).
    What I would like to have is a signal that describes the right click in an image window.
    Thanks for any ideas

    Hi,
    If you use LV7, you can use the event structure. Add an event or filter
    event "Mouse down" for the picture. The "button" value indicates 2 for the
    right button, 1 for the left.
    Regards,
    Wiebe.
    the picture control has a property "Mouse". This is a cluster, that includes

  • How to turn off mouse click noise

    I am listening to my Itunes on my computer and doing work at the same time. Each time I do my work and click my mouse I hear the click sound at the same time as my song. Is they any way to turn off mouse click sound so it does not disturb my music?

    1. Go to control panel
    2. Click mouse
    Now that being said, I don't have the kind that makes a noise, so I don't have an option, but if you're able to turn the sound off, it should be there.
    If it's not there, check Sounds and Audio Device properties to see if there's an option there. If there's not, you may need to contact your computer manufacturer.
    Good luck!

  • How to prevent middle mouse click to move the cursor but still poaste the clipboard ?

    This is a linux only issue.
    When i'm typing a text editing box, i use the select text/middle click gesture to copy/paste text.
    But the middle click not only paste the selected text but move the cursor at the actual mouse position before.
    I don't want this behavior, because :
    1. I work a lot with vim, where you don't mouve the cursor using the mouse, so i must change my habit when i'm using firefox.
    2. When i middle click, event if i put the mouse in the right place, i might mouve it a bit and the text will be pasted on the wrong place
    I've been looking in the about:config and the only related option is
    middlemouse.paste;
    If i put it to false, the middle click button does not mouve the cursor, nor does it paste.
    Any idea how to achieve that ?

    I do not find the cursor moving on me if I use middle-click to paste text or url that is in that I highlighted into clipboard. Whether I used my Logitech MX510 or the T-CH!!/T-CL13 trackballs that I use now.
    The right-click and copy selection then right-click and paste to paste contents where Caret is method can be more precise though.
    '''FredMcD''', if you have not used Linux then maybe you should not be replying to questions that are Linux specific. Same with Mac OSX.

  • How to capture check box click in ALV

    Hi,
    I have requirement in which after displaying the ALV out put, immediately when the check box is checked i need to capture it and proceed with further coding with that input.
    Check box click is not getting captured in "USER COMMAND or LINE SELECTION"
    Could you please suggest a way.
    Regards
    venkatesh.

    Venkatesh,
    If you are using cl_gui_alv_grid you need to register "change" event to catch the checkbox change.
    you do so with this method of cl_gui_alv_grid class :
    register_edit_event( i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modified ).
    event handler class
    class lcl_event_receiver definition.
      public section.
        methods:
        user_command for event user_command of cl_gui_alv_grid
        importing e_ucomm,                                      "#EC NEEDED
        data_changed for event data_changed of cl_gui_alv_grid
        importing er_data_changed e_onf4 e_onf4_before e_onf4_after e_ucomm,"#EC NEEDED
    endclass.
    global data
    data: o_event_receiver      type ref to lcl_event_receiver.
    data: goo_grid type ref to cl_gui_alv_grid.
    At the displaying of your grid / register the change event and set handlers
    goo_grid->register_edit_event( i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modified ).
        set handler:
          o_event_receiver->user_command for goo_grid,
          o_event_receiver->data_changed for goo_grid.
    hope this helps...

  • Awesome - How to "trap" a mouse click

    I use the following code to use my mouse's side buttons for switching tags.
    However the press events are forwarded to to the client underneath which is undesirable.
    How do I "trap" the press events, if possible for specific tags only
    root.buttons(awful.util.table.join(
    awful.button({ }, 3, function () mymainmenu:toggle() end),
    awful.button({ }, 8, awful.tag.viewnext),
    awful.button({ }, 9, awful.tag.viewprev)
    Thanks.

    EDIT: I may have misunderstood - do you mean the binding works as you intended, but it also has additional undesired behavior in the client under the mouse?
    --- original, perhaps irrelevant post ---
    You want this mouse button to have that behavior when the mouse pointer is over a client window?
    I have very little experience with awesomewm, but I know my way around X, and I suspect there is no way to do this within awesome.  Suspect may be too weak a word - unless awesome specifically includes button remapping code, this is not possible like that.
    You can however remap mouse buttons through X, here is one guide that looks pretty good.  Once you remap the button in question to a "key", then you can just make a keybinding for that key.

  • Mouse Click Event

    Hi, can any one tell me how to capture the mouse click event in the report ? For example suppose the user is double clicking in a perticular coulmn in a report output, I want to show him/her a message.
    Thanks
    Feroz

    Feroze,
    I think it is not possible to capture mouse click at report runtime. But you can use buttons in report. It will work.

  • How can I capture mouse click events on BSP or Web Dynpro ABAP Screen

    hi Guys,
    Currently we have a user inactivity problem,
    the requirement is: if user is clicking on BSP/Web Dynpro ABAP screen, he/she is considered active. so we need an mechanism to capture the mouse click event.
    Using Firebug, we found that this js is in the iframe which contains BSP/web dynpro scrren: /sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/js/languages/urMessageBundle_en.js
    we want to find this js file & put in some javascript code to track user's mouse click, but i cannot find it on server.
    while in ie if we type http://host:port/sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/js/languages/urMessageBundle_en.js
    this file can be downloaded, means this file is there.
    Any one can help on this issue? find the js file or another way to capture the mouse click event.
    Thanks a lot with points!

    Hi  Feng Guo,
                        We can not capture mouse click events on Web Dynpro ABAP Screen . I am not sure about BSP. But as for as I know the portal keep active the iViews until unless mouse clicks happens.
    But for your problem I think you can get solution by setting iView Expiration to some more time period.

    Siva

  • Capturing Mouse Click Event Outside a Canvas/Component

    Hello Guys
    I have a canvas based component and i want to capture a mouse click event outside that component.
    How is it possible?
    Thanks a lot

    Thanks a lot Morphic
    I solved it using focusout method from my component;s textinput but your method is also good and will help me in later stages.

  • Newly installed Cap 8 not capturing mouse clicks

    Newly installed Captivate 8 is not capturing my mouse clicks.  Captivate is set to Training & I have my regular settings selected.  I have also worked with the application I am trying to capture before and did not experience any issues.  Thoughts?

    Hi there,
    Please tell which Operating system is it?
    If it is Windows, then have you installed the 32 bit version or 64 bit of Captivate?
    Again, if it is Windows please try to run it as admin, by right clicking the Captivate launch icon.
    Thanks.

  • Firefox missing mouse clicks

    I have updated both my desktop (Win7) and my laptop (WinXP) to Firefox 9.0.1 (from 8.0) and both are suffering from this issue.
    about 99% of my left mouse clicks seem to get ignored, but middle and right are both perfectly find. Left button operates correctly in all other programs.
    The mouse works correctly in the taskbar/menus/tab bar/scroll bar, but stops as soon as I am inside the page display area.
    Sometimes if I click continuously for 10 seconds I get an ok click, or sometimes I have to use a different program for a minute and then come back, then I can get 1 or 2 clicks before it stops working.
    Currently navigating using tab, and shift+tab.
    This is very very annoying, has anyone else noticed this after update? or have any ideas?

    My current issue is that if the simulator is frozen (system time is cycling within a 100ms window) mouse clicks on buttons are getting lost.OK that's an entirely different kettle of fish. Firing an action does require that the mouseReleased be later than the mousePressed, and that both be over the button.
    Consider ths scenarion in any normal application that doesn't interfere with the system time. The user presses the mouse over some other component, drags over to the button and releases it. Next, the user presses the mouse over the button, drags off the button and then releases it. This isn't supposed to trigger the button's ActionListener#actionPerformed.
    With the system time looping, how does the runtime know that this isn't the case?
    I can see the button border change when I move the mouse over the button,that's rollover, triggered from mouseEntered. timing is not an issue.
    but the mouse click is lost (button does not get depressed).See above.
    Sometimes it works fine for a few mouse clicks and other times several mouse clicks will be lost in a row.See above.
    It seems random.In a way, it is.
    This seems to be more prevalent with buttons than capturing a mouse click on a panel where I do 2D drawing. Not sure why.Could be just human susceptibility to guesswork, or may actually have something to do with the occasional additional processor cycles involved in the custom painting. Since you haven't described the frequency of repainting nor its complexity, that guess is my susceptibility to guesswork ;)
    When I put the simulator into Run mode, it works perfectly, never missing a click.Of course it will.
    Anyone out there have any insights into what might be going on under the hood inside Java/Swing with mouse events and the system clock?See above.
