How to capture the status of a transaction to trigger the workflow

Hi,
I want to trigger the workflow whenever the user changes the status.How can i capture the status.I gone through some forms,there it has mentioned that with the help of SWEL transaction we can find the status,but we can trace the events with that,I want to trace the status.How can i acheive that.

Hi,
im using the SAP R/3 4.6C and trying to launch automatic trigger upon BO FIPP post method. I have configured Instance and Type Linkages but nothing ever happens. Whereas i tried this in SAP IDES and it was working fine.
What is or could be the problem?

I have v. 3.6.8. It will display blank white pages at some site and not at others. I use safe mode and the access is reversed... what used to open doesn't and what didn't does. . .
Is anyone trying to fix this problem - or are users just left to chasing their tails on this issue?

How to update task status from custom task in state machine workflow

i m using custom task for state machine workflow
i am using

if above is true moving forward its working fine but i want to update the status field of task as i can update the title and due date for the task but how can i change the status once approved it
should show the status as approved it's only showing in progress

If your task shows In Progress state then I think you need to look at your workflow and make sure you are using Complete Task activity and if you are already using Complete Task Activity then verify the Correlation ID. Ideally you are not required to set
this value in workflow. You simply use the Complete Task Activity.
If you are running into issue where your workflow is staying in In Progress state even after the task is complete then you can look at the following blog post.

I fixed it. Go to settings> cellular> turn off toggle data and 3G off and on!!! Fixed

How to capture system status & date in project?

I'm using transaction CJ20N for managing all R & D projects.
I want to make a report where I need to capture status REL & CNF of every stage with respective dates.
Can you help me to provide a procedure how to find it through tables?
For example I find process order status in table JCDS & JEST by adding letters OR followed by 4 zeros as a prefix to process order & enter in to field object number.

Follow the same procedure by using the object number of the WBS. It starts with "PR". You can get the object number of the WBS from PRPS table. To get the object number of the activities you can refer the table AFVC. Pass on the WBS in the AFVC table and execute it. This will list all the activitiies that fall under the WBS you entered.
As an alternative you can use the report CN41N to fetch objects with the REL and CNF status. Change the layout to include the column "Status" in the report. You need to define a status selection profile to fetch only the objects having the REL and CNF status. Refer SAP Help to understand more about this.

Here are the steps:
1. First, you have a signature capture tool. Most of the phones come with their own signature capture tools. For example, for Pocket PC - you can go to the MSDN site and then download the capture program.
2. The captured signature should then be stored as an JGP/ PDF/ or any version.
3. In your mobile application, you have to convert this file into binary format. This must be uploaded to the mobile middleware
In the mobile middleware, you must ensure that attachments are enabled. You can refer to this [link |https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?ath=/display/mobile/createapplicationsusingBinaryMemoandTextMemoinNetweaverMobile+7.1] for actions that you must do in the middleware and in the back-end.

How to find out the status of "Mark As Approved" in the workflow

   How can i change the field values for any workflow record once its set as "Mark As Approved".i.e, once the workflow record is set to "Mark As Approved" the value "abc" should be assigned automatically to the field "category".
Can anybody please suggest me on this...

     Let me explain my requirement clearly.
    I want to assign a value automatically to a particular field say "Category" to "Training" whenever approver approves the workflow record by right-clicking on the selected workflow record and choose Workflow-> Mark As Approved.ie., the value should be assigned automatically when you choose "Mark As Approved".
My doubt is how can i assign a value automatically when its approved ?
As u said how can i trigger a workflow when its approved through Workflows->Mark As Approved.
Please advice me on this..

How to determine the status of Maintenance Order while working in workflow

Hello Experts,
I am working on a workflow to release production related maintenance order.In this workflow I need to determine the status of the Maintenance Order (BOR object BUS2007) whether it has been released or not.I am trying to do this by condition step type.I can't understand which field of BUS2007 object I need to check to know the status of the maintenance order.

Hi,
Have you not getting any value in Status Profile attribute.
For new attribute u need to write coding, getting the value of that released field.
First, u need to implement by going to Edit->Change Release Status ->To implemented.
Then check your BO and generate it. If any error occurs in Menu bar Goto->Error List and see what is the error.
After generation of your BO, test your BO.
If test works fine, then Delegate with the standard BO.
To delegate, u need to be in initial screen of SWO1 and goto Settings->Delegate. Give Super type as Std BO and delegate type as your custom BO and use the Std BO in your workflow.

How do I remove the status bar from iPhone apps on the iPad?

Whenever I go onto an iPhone app on my ipad I have recently had the status bar covering up some of my game. Here is an example: http://i.imgur.com/Q9xnYhT.jpg
As you can see the score is hidden, I have gone through the settings and can't find anything,please help! It only started doing it when I reset my settings and updated to 7.1.

Same problem...seems that this is for apps that are for iPhone and/or for both...but not for ones made just for iPad!

I would like to delete an icon from the status menu bar, and then delete the remnants of an already deleted programme. Any help would be gladly appreciated.

I have attempted to delate Comodo AV, from my iMac. I have achieved this to a degree, as when i search for "Comodo" on finder, nothing appears. However the icon still appears in the status menu bar at the top right of my screen. Comodo worked fine, until the upgrade to Mavericks. I contacted Comodo and they said there should be no problem with Comodo AV working in Mavericks. Clearley this wasn't the case. I deleted as much of the software as i could, but have been left with hidden traces of Comodo's presence.
I there fore have two questions,
How can i take the icon out of the status menu bar? I have tried app removers without any luck as according to finder there isnt any comoso on the mac. I have also tried to use the "cmd and drag" technique, but again nothing happens.
How can i find the residue of Comodo on my hard drive if it is not showing up on any search?
I would really like to resolve these issues and any support would be greatly received.

Many thanks, Phil. I purchased the app you recomended, and following a bit of messing about, achieved both of my desired outcomes.
For your information yes there was a quit option, but this only worked as long as i was logged in. Whenever i logged out and back in again it returned.

I have added a from step as the participent step but it is saving data with random ids . I am not able to figure out how to read the data for corresponding process step in the workflow ?

Can we read the status of a particular pin in the Parallel port(LPT1)?

I have a Camera.I'm trying to read the status of the camera by connecting it to the parallel port.The camera has a DB26 ,high-density I/O connector .A high level on pin 19 indicates that the camera power is switched on(+5v =on ,0v=off).I want to read the status of this pin by connecting it to the parallel port.Can i read the status of a particular pin in parallel port thru LABVIEW? if so how ? Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Checking the status of task records tied to the custom object 3

We are using custom object 3
There has been lot of configuration work done on this object.
There is a checkbox on the UI. When a user will checks off the check box, a task record(s) is created depending on the condition.
Is there a way for me to check the status on the task records and then set a field on the parent record i.e. custom object 3.

Problem w Plug-in Check page: the "Update" button for my outdated version of the WMP plugin does not do anything, and no link is indicated in the status bar when I mouse over the button.

In Firefox, I select Tools > Add-ons > Find Updates. The Plugin Check page comes up in the browser. The entry for the WMP Plugin indicates it is out of date. I click on the "Update" button and nothing happens. When I mouse over the button, no link is indicated in the status bar (it continues to read "Done").
The entries for the other plugins indicate they are current. When I mouse over the "Up to date" button for each of those entries, a link is indicated in the status bar.
I am running Windows XP SP2 on a 2005 Dell Inspiron 6000 (1.6 GHz Pentium M processor, 590 MHz bus, 504 MB RAM). I have Norton Internet Security 2010 installed and running.
