How to catch the dynamic data on the other webside to BIEE?

i want to achieve the update data everytime in BIEE dashboard, sunh as Dow Jones Indexes i want to catch it in other website and to display it in my BIEE's dashboard? how to realize it ? may be should use the oracle database.i hope can get a step by step about this? thank you!

1. I have one doubt on WDJ. Click on either Submit Buttion or LinkToURL UI we can download the file that file having ppt formate(Text.PPT).
I am using NWDS Version: 7.0.09 and Java Version: JDK 1.6
2. is it possible to download the business Graphics in to the PPT by using Java DynPro

How do you save dynamic data type, from the DAQ assistant, for use in Excel or matlab?

Currently, I have the following basic VI setup to save Data from my PCI6221 Data Aquisition Card. The problem I'm having is I keep getting the last iteration of the while loop in the measurement file and that's pretty much it. When I try to index the data leaving the loop it gives me a 2D array of Data which cannot be input into the "Write to Measurement File" VI. How would I save this to a useful Data/time step format? I was wondering of a way to continuously collect the Data and then save it in a large measurement file that I would manipulate in Matlab/excel? Am I using the wrong type of loop for this application? I also noticed my Dynamic Data array consists of data, time, timestep and then a vector of the data taken. Is it possible to just get a vector of the time change per sample alongside the data? Sorry for the barrage of questions but any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!

There is a VI in the Express > Signal Manipulation palette called "From DDT" that lets you convert from the Dynamic Data Type to other data types that are more compatible with operations like File I/O....for instance, you could convert your DDT into a 2D array and use the Write To Spreadsheet File.vi. Just a thought...

Dynamic date in the selection according to fiscal year variant

Is it possible to set dynamic date input parameter from the fiscal year variant sap table (OB29 transaction).
For example when I run valuation (F.05) I want the value date input field to be the last day of the previous period.

Hi,
The dynamic dates on the selection parameters may come from the variant.
You need to create the variants accordingly to your requirements and specify how the date on the selection screen has to be calculated.
You have different options for this purpose.

How to get the End date of the dynamic period in Financial Reports

I have a issue with the Financial Report, I want to show the text under the Heading in the Balance Sheet like 31 DEC 2008 but in this date should be the end date of the dynamic period what user select in the POV.

There are 2 options:
1. Use the POVAlias text function:
e.g. <<POVAlias ("Grid1", DimName)>>
(you could also use POVMember if the items you want is the member and not the alias).
2. Have a hidden column on the report referencing the POV selection, then reference this in the header.

How do I get routing data from the Map App (powered by TomTom) so I can display the point-to-point annotations (turn-by-turn navigation) without leaving my own application.

I have a tableView displaying a list of contacts from a Cloud Database. After selecting a contact, I push to a programmatically created MKMapView. Then I display the initial region (the view) that includes the users current location (starting point) and their selected destination (end point).
Now I want to display annotations (as described in the Location Awareness Programming Guide) that displays polylines which will represent the turn-by-turn navigation IN MY OWN APPLICATION, and not in the Map App currently used in IOS6.
Due to licensing and its becoming depricated in IOS 6, I do not want to get routing data from the Google Maps API. How do I get routing data from the IOS 6 Map App (powered by TomTom) so I can display the point-to-point annotations (turn-by-turn navigation) without leaving my own application?
I checked out Stack Overflow and other forums which basically left me with the impression that this is not possible. I also checked out the TomTom iPhone Mobile SDK User Guide from the TomTom Developer Portal and am still confused. It must be possible to retrieve routes, since the Map App can display turn-by-turn directions. How can I retrieve turn-by-turn data that I may display as a route within my own application?

Thanks Michael. Apologies for the slow reply I was away for a bit (holiday blitz at work and visiting family madness etc.etc.) back now, I set both options you requested to "never " and retried the CMS software with no change.
I do have progress of a sort though, as a test I took a separate test PC and put a clean install of Win7 on and loaded up the CMS software (it worked perfectly) and then took the version of ole32.dll off that machine and put it onto the computer I had built
for her (using Linux) and...
got a new error code. Darn I was so sure I had found a clever solution this time lol.
Anyway now when the CMS fails it gives me a similar error but the offending module is "ntdll.dll" sooo... I tried taking the "working" version of ntdll.dll from the test box and moving it over (making sure to back up the existing ones
first so I could put them back if needed) to her new PC and the PC would not boot.
It seems to want the original versions of a few Dynamic Link Libraries and if I could somehow give it those while not breaking Win7 it should theoretically work seeing as it no longer errors with ole32.dll.
ntdll.dll however seems necessary for Win7 to boot.
So what I am wondering now is:
Is there some way to have both versions of the DLL file in the system32 folder (bypassing the "cannot have two files with the exact same name in the same folder" thing) or rename the original DLL's something else and somehow make the CMS look for
the new named versions so the system has the updated DLL's it needs to boot/run and the CMS has the old ones it wants to run or is there someway to have a self contained install of the CMS, say on a USB flash drive and give it it's own E:/windows/system32/needed
dll's path to the files it needs?
Willing to try any other options or settings you may have come up with as well.

As I use large data files (500MB) and need to be able to view them in graphs, I was reading this arcticle about Managing Large Data Sets, and found the GLV_GigaLabVIEWMemoryStoreAndBrowse.vi example in the "Fast Data Display with Decimation" section of it. It is exactly what I need, but, of course, with my data... So, how could I rearrange this file to be able to see not it's own data, but the data I acquired with the TDMS Writer (1D array of waveform data)?

There are several options, but I would recommend using the already existing file as your data buffer. This will replace the internal data structures (queue or functional global) for the main data, not the decimated preview. I would do it as follows:
Replace the number of points front panel control with a path control called Filename. This will allow you to specify your file.
Modify the command enum so Change NPoints is Change Filename (only needed for us humans).
In the Value Change event (top loop) for Filename (create one if it is not already there, delete the nPoints one if it is still there), stuff the command queue with Change Filename.
Create a local shift register in the bottom task handler loop (similar to the one in the traditional memory store and browse) to hold your file reference.
In the Change Filename frame of the task handler, close the file reference (if it is valid) and open a new file reference using the TDMS functions (use the file name terminal to read the file name).
Replace all instances of reading or generating the main data with the corresponding TDMS function using the new file reference. For example, in the Change Filename case, replace the Sine Wave.vi with a TDMS Read.vi which reads the corresponding subset. Make your chunk size 65,000 points for best speed.
I have never done this with TDMS (only because I stopped working with file I/O before TDMS was invented), but have done it with raw binary, NI-HWS, and HDF5. All worked well, so you should have no problems.

I use a translation stage for the experiment.For each user in the lab the stage position (to start an experiment) is different.I defined one end of the stage as zero. I want to save the position , date and time of the stage with respect to zero.I want all these in one file, nd everytime I run it it should save to the same file, like this:

So I will track the position from day to day.If naybody helps, I appreciate it.Thanks.

I know the function "write to spreadsheet file.vi"
can append the data
to file. You can use the "concatenate strings" to display the date,
time as well as data... Hope this help.

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. Keep in mind if the old phone is not a smartphone and you currently have unlimited data that feature will fall off. If you have a tier data plan no changes will be made. i am using cont acq to spreadsheet file.vi to acquire data from a number of channels. this vi also plots the acquired data on the waveform chart. i want to take the print out of the entire data. how can i do it ?
also how can i take print out of the data between given interval??

There are a number of different ways of achieving your goal. Depending on which version of LabVIEW you have and which development environment, the Report Generation Toolkit is a very powerful tool. Attached is an example that prints the acquired data without the use of additional toolkits.

I don't think there will be a solution to this. Exchange 2003 just isn't supported.

How to load the existing data from the databse in the CMP entity bean?

my problem is as follows--
i am creating a CMP entity bean.in these beans client create the data instances using create() function.
now a entity bean will be created for the newly created data and it's EJBObject will also be formed.
now we will be able to perform finder methods over them.
remember these data has been newly created in the database.
but now if i want to perform the finder methods on the
existing data in the database( i don't need to use create() fn as i am not "creating" the data.). how will i perform the query over the existing data.
basically i have to make a CMP bean to extract the data corresponding to a particular condition , from the database table. i don't want to create the data in the database but just find out what data satisfies my condition.

you have to use findByXXX methods. depending on your appserver you may have to declare them (and eventually the query you want to be used) in the vendor specific deploiement descriptor.
(e.g. using jboss i don't remember having explicitly declare the findBySomeField method - where someField is a persistent field - in the dd, whereas with bas all finder methods have to be explicitly declared)
[note that obviously these methods have to be present in your home interface]

I have a need, can i know how to assign a dynamic value to the value property of a button. Scenario is like follows...
This is a struts based web application
1. I have a file which consists of login user details (user name and his previlages) for a web application.
2. I got those user details, into a List.
3. When a user logged into the web app, in the home page there are few buttons. The type and number of buttons shown depends on the type of user/ user. (Buttons have different combination and the number of buttons available are not constant, they will vary from user to user).
4. for each button, there will be a different action. I can pass the value of a button to an action class, but here button must have a dynamic value.
Here is my test code:

Can we set the dynamic data source when using getReportParameters() ?

Hello!
I have a report where one of its parameters refers to a list of values (LOVs). This list of values is an SQL Query type. When the data source used in the report is defined in the BI Publisher server, I'm able to get the report parameters using the getReportParameters() function in my application. However, if the data source is not defined the function throws an exception, which is understandable.
I decided to dynamically set the data source so that even if the data source used by the report is not defined in the BI Publisher server, it still will be able to get the LOVs for the parameter. I tried setting the JDBCDataSource of the dynamicDataSource for the ReportRequest object that I passed to the getReportParameters() function. Please see the sample code below:

reportRequest.dynamicDataSource.JDBCDataSource = new BIP10.JDBCDataSource();

I was expecting this to work as this is what I did to dynamically set the data source before calling the runReport function. So, my question is -- can we set the dynamic data source when using getReportParameters() ? I tried this both in versions 10g and 11g. It does not seem to work on both versions.

report_id column of apex_application_page_ir_rpt can help us uniquely identify each saved report.
We can assign this report_id value to a page item and this page item can be put in the Report ID Item text box of the Advanced section of the Report Attributes page of the IR.
This should load the saved report identified by report_id and you can get rid of javascript
