How to chance default link style?

I´m wondering how to chance different link states color and decoration? Now default is blue and underline. Ok. this can be done with embedded html / css, but there must be simple solution in Muse?

You can edit the link styles , click on Hyperlinks > Edit link styles or edit from site properties :

  • Help editing default link style in Muse.

    I thought I was going to figure this out, but it's making me crazy. In Adobe Muse can you change the 'default link style'?
    I've tried making a new style and applying it, but no matter what I do it won't stick. Any ideas would be helpful.

  • How about setting default layer styles to 90 degrees by default?

    Who ever really uses 120 degrees for anything? If I could count the number of times I've had to change my layer styles to 90 or 180 from the junky 120, I'd reach a number which doesn't exist because it's so damn big.
    Fix this, or give users an option to set a default and designers will LOVE YOU.

    There's also the "Make Default" button at the bottom of the Layer Styles dialogue box if you tend to use certain settings often.

  • Multiple link styles

    I have multiple link styles defined for a site, the links in the left column should underline on hover - I defined the style sheet a couple of months ago and it works. Here's the problem, I created a new page and added the link - it won't underline on hover. I have tried removing the style, adding the link, adding back the style, applying the style to just that one link, for some reason no matter what I try that one link won't take the style. Makes no sense to me. I have the same problem on another site - any help would be greatly appreciated!
    this is the page: www.yhpark.com/gallery.html
    and how I defined the link style:
    .LeftColNav a:link {
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: #3F3F3F;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-align: LEFT;
    .LeftColNav a:visited {
    color: #3f3f3f;
    text-decoration: none;
    .LeftColNav a:active {
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: #3f3f3f;
    text-decoration: none;
    .LeftColNav a:hover {
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: #3f3f3f;
    text-decoration: underline;

  • Edit link styles

    What is going on here? When I edit the default link style in the hyperlinks drop down box at the top of the muse design page i cannot get the new style to apply to a link?
    The new link style is listed, but when I try to apply it to a link on the site, it does not work
    Yes I can use the states panel, but the link styles is supposed to be a shortcut
    What is the trick? What am I missing?

    The style is saved in the same boz under hyperlinks as the default link style
    But when I create a link, I cannot get the new style to be applied
    I found this last night
    First create the link style, and then create the textbox with the text in it. Once done, select the text (not the textbox), and then make it a link (this will pick up the default link style). Now if you apply the link style to the textbox it will pick up the new style. The catch here is to make the text a hyperlink by selecting the text. Check this short video here: http://screencast.com/t/JWGGXlNsl
    Is there another solution?
    Thanks

  • How to change the default text style?

    The MacOS system seems to maintain a collection of text 'styles' available in applications such as TextEdit, Bean, MacJournal, Notebook and DevonThink. This collection contains a default style, used by some (but not all) of these applications as the default text style for new documents.
    At my computers this default style is characterized in the 'favorite styles' panel as 'left aligned, spacing 0.0x' and it has strange tab stops (0.99, 1.98, 2.96, 3.95, 4.94, 5.93, 6.91, 7.90, 8.89, 9.89, 10.86, 11.85 cm).
    I prefer tab stops at 1.00, 2.00, 3.00 etc., and 1.2x line spacing.
    I guess I have changed the default style by accident, as I cannot imagine Apple putting such strange tab stops in a default style (0.0x spacing sounds a bit strange too). If so, it must somehow be possible to change the default style.
    I have tried to change the default style via TextEdit (which does not use the default style as default, but spacing 1.0x and tab stop at each centimeter) and several other applications (Bean, MacJournal, Notebook) in the following way: select a piece of text with the intended format, open the document styles panel, click 'Add to Favorites', enter 'Default' as the name for the style and click 'Replace'. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. Although I do not get an error message, the Default style hasn't changed. I can save my preferred style as, for example, 'Preferred' but that does not prevent MacJournal and other applications from using Default for every new document.
    Any idea how to change this default style, or, if that is not possible, reset it to its original state?

    I suggest you have a look at [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/stationery/?src=api Stationery].
    It won't help you in defining styles, as such, but will give you templates wherein you can set up styles.

  • How do I change the default paragraph style from Body Text?

    The default paragraph style in my email setup is Body Text. This does not wrap properly for some recipients, but Paragraph does. How do I change the default so that Paragraph is automatically used when I start a new email?

    There are two types of defaults: defaults for all new documents and defaults for the current document. To change the default for any open document make sure no text frame is active and change the formatting as desired in either the Control panel or the Character and Paragraph panels. To change default formatting for new document (those not yet created) do this while no file is open. You can’t change the defaults for several documents at once without a script.

  • How can you have multiple, different css link styles?

    Every time I want to create a different looking link just for some copy, it always reverts to the A:link style, even if I create a new style that looks just the way I want. How can I create multiple link styles and then be able to select the one I want at any time???
    I would greatly appreciate any help.
    Allan

    How are you applying the different styles to your links? In most cases, it's easiest to wrap the link(s) in an element, like a < div > that has a class or ID assigned, for instance class="altLinks". Then, set up the CSS style names like:
    .altLinks a:link
    ...and so on. Then, the styles would just apply to links within the element(s) with class "altLinks". Here's a tutorial that might also help:
    http://www.golivecentral.com/pages/tutorials.shtml#basicCSSlinks2
    Otherwise, if you're still having trouble, post back with a link to your page so we can see what's going on.

  • How do I set a 2nd Links Style using CSS

    This might be a very simple question to everyone else, but I
    am a very simple novice!
    I have set up the link style for my webpage (see below), but
    I want to add some different links in a different style on the
    page.
    a:link {
    color: #3CCCFF;
    text-decoration: none;
    a:visited {
    color: #3CCCFF;

    color: #FF339A;
    text-decoration: underline;
    a:active {
    color: #0099FF;
    text-decoration: none;
    I have set up a different text style (below) and would like
    to create link styles off of this (ie. same size and weight) but
    with different Link, Hover, Active, Visited styles.
    h3 {
    font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-weight: lighter;
    font-size: 9px;
    color: #ACACAC;
    line-height: 18px;
    margin: 0px 0px 0px 5px;
    Can this be done? If so, how do I add it to the CSS and the

  • How can you have two link styles on one page?

    I have one style (formatted link style) for internal links in
    my footer but I want a different style for the external links in my

  • Link Styles not appearing

    I've created a Link Style that worked just fine on one block of text, but when assigned to another block, has no effect. I've deleted the offending block and started over, but the assigned Link Style still won't activate when viewing in the browser.

    Thanks, Sachin. Quitting and restarting Muse allowed me to continue, but I haven't had a chance to try and duplicate the problem. Right now, I have a more serious issue-I don't want to have to create separate versions of my site for tablets and phones since I haven't needed them before, and I can't figure out how to generate the Desktop code without the device sensing feature that points tablets to www.lightroom.com/tablet/index.html. Any advice?

  • How to change default fonts in Indesign

    I've tried the usual recommended steps - open InDesign, select a font, then close the program, etc. -- but nothing seems to work. Every style reverts to MetaPlus. Help!

    Respectfully, I've tried this, and I'm not looking for suggested working solutions as I have a pretty clear understanding of how to set defaults and how to utilize paragraph styles.  I'm simply pointing out that contrary to what you're saying, setting the font in the character palette does NOT change the true default font in my experience (CS4, OS10.4.11). I do understand that the default is set with no documents open by then selecting the font in the character palette.
    I'm attaching 2 screen shots to show you that I'm not making this up.  In the first you can hopefully see I've clearly set the "default" to Arial now.
    In the second I've created a new document and a new paragraph style. You can see it already considers "Arial" as deviating from the base "No Paragraph Style" and if you click on "Reset to Base" you will see that sure enough, the true default font is still Geneva (Geneva in my case as outlined in my previous post).
    Generally, this isn't much of a problem. As you've all pointed out we can accept that these additions are the new default for a new paragraph style, but it really isn't changing the true default font. Depending on your working environment and the experience of the designers this may be good enough. For my environment I'm looking for the ability to change the true default font and the only solution I've come across is the one from my previous post (deleting preferences).

  • How do I create linked LOVs in a JSP

    We are attempting to create a list of values (LOV) for a group of categories on a jsp page. We would like the LOV to be populated with the category names. Next to the category LOV we would like to have a link “get subcategories” that when clicked would return to the same jsp page, set the value of the LOV to the category selected, and populate a second LOV with sub-category names for the selected category.
    We have created an sql-only View Object (VO) for the categories and linked it to an sql-only VO for the subcategories (in a master-detail relationship) and added the VOs to an app module. We have tested the link between the two VOs with successful results.
    We would like to know how to create a linked pair of LOVs on a jsp page. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Les,
    If I understand correctly, you can do this fairly simply.
    First create datasources:
    <jbo:DataSource name="dsCategories" ...
    <jbo:DataSource name="dsSubCategories" ...
    <% // add a where clause to SubCategories based on the parameter "CategoryNumber"
    String categoryNumber = params.getParameter("CategoryNumber");
    // Make sure to default to something if the parameter is null or you'll get an error
    if (categoryNumber == null)
    categoryNumber = "1";
    dsSubCategories.getRowSet().setWhereClauseParam(0, categoryNumber);
    // execute the query on dsSubCategories to ensure that the where clause reflects on this page
    dsSubCategories.getRowSet().executeQuery();
    Create a form with your drop down lists.
    1. I would create a <form> that posts to the same page.
    2. Add a <jbo:FormEvent> tag with a custom event name like "getSubcategories".
    3. Create a LOV that isn't connected to the database:
    <jbo:InputSelect multiple="false" displaydatasource="dsCategories" displaydataitem="CategoryName" displayvaluedataitem="CategoryNumber" ></jbo:InputSelect>
    4. Create a second LOV that also isn't connected to a datasource. It would look like this:
    <jbo:InputSelect multiple="false" displaydatasource="dsSubCategories" displaydataitem="SubCategoryName" displayvaluedataitem="SubCategoryNumber" ></jbo:InputSelect>
    5. Add a submit button
    That should work. Some things to note:
    1. This probably won't track your previously selected options. I don't know if you can do that with this interface.
    2. I'd add some javascript to postback when a new list item is selected.
    Based on these points I would code the select list by hand like this:
    <select name="CategoryNumber" size="1" onchange="this.form.submit()">
    <% String curCatNumber="";
    String CatNumber = params.getParameter("CategoryNumber");
    if (CatNumber == null)
    CatNumber = "1";
    <jbo:RowsetIterate datasource="dsCategories" >
    <jbo:Row id="rowCategory" datasource="dsCategories" action="active" >
    <% curCatNumber = ((oracle.jbo.domain.Number)rowCategory.getAttribute("Category")).toString();%>
    <option value="<%=curParlimentId%>"
    <% if (CatNumber.equals(curCatNumber)) { %>selected<% } %>>
    <jbo:ShowValue datasource="dsCategories" dataitem="CategoryName" ></jbo:ShowValue>
    </option>
    </jbo:Row>
    </jbo:RowsetIterate>
    </select>
    The second would be similar.
    Hope this answered your question!
