How to change amount in Bar chart in XML Publisher

Hi all,
I want to change a amount in chart in INR.
I have created one bar chart for report in which on x-axis i have displayed a Month-Year and on Y-axis i have displayed a Amount.
But when i insert a chart it will automatically takes amount in Million, but i want to change that amount in INR.
also i want to display that INR amount above each bar.
How should i do this ??
can anyone help me regarding this?

Hi Krish,
I have followed the steps which you suggested, but I am unable to see the changes when I execute the web report.
I could able to see the colour changes to the bars in the chart in the preview (i.e when I select the series 1 and change the colour for series 1 under Area properties). Like that I have done for all the 5 series, then I have clicked on Complete button, saved the web template and executed it, and I could able to see the changes in the preview but not in the report after execution.
I have two charts in my case, one is <b>Job function</b> chart and the other is <b>Job type</b> chart. The Job function chart is displaying with different colours from the begining, but the job type chart is displays all the columns in RED colour.
Is there any setting I need to do after selecting the colour at the series level.
Please correctt me if I am worng in doing the procedure.
Please update me how to do it...It is usefull if you can come back to me ASAP .

right click on the chart - select properties - then click on any one of the lines and right click - you can see the colors - otherwise the same should be available in the properties of the chart web item.

Do you mean that you will have the product on the x-axis of the chart and you want to display a different colour for each product bar on the same chart, or will you have a product selector that displays a single chart only for that product against a specific dimension so that all bars are the same colour determined by the colour attribute of the product?
I am assuming your requirement is the former, in which case rather than jumping through scripting and CSS hoops, I would encourage you to reconsider the business need for this requirement in the context of Stephen Few's Rule #4 in the article Practical Rules for Using Color in Charts, an excerpt of which is shown below:

Are you using BI query? If yes then follow the steps -
1. Take Sales org in rows of BI query. & take invoice type & Key figure in Columns.
2. In VC use this query & drag chart from the output of this query.
3. Right click on chart & go to 'Configure Element'. There select Chart Type as 'Bar chart'
4. Below that you will get default option as clustered, there you select 'Stacked'
5. Create Data series as per your requirement.
6. Arrange proper layout of the model & then deploy.
You will get required output in stacked format.

How to create "time sheet" bar chart?

Hi Experts,
I am using Crystal Reports 2008 and I would like to ask the steps to create a time sheet liked bar chart with following information:
Imagine I collected the CPU usage of a computer every 30 seconds.
In the report layout, X-axis should be the time of date. Such as 00:00, 06:00, 12:00 and 18:00. Y-axis should be the exact date. Such as 2009/05/01 to 2009/05/31. Highlight color should be applied to identify the usage. Such as <30% is gray, 30~70% is blue and >70% is red.

I tried to use bar chart template but crystal report sum up the total duration, not the exact time. When using Gantt chart, it almost fulfilled my requirement. But the bars of same date is not aligned horizontal, just like stairs.

How to plot line and bar chart in one graph

i have one graph, but in this graph i want to plot line or bar chart using radio button selection.
can i do that...

You must have 2 data arrays or plots to get this. Make sure your plot legend is visible. Drag the plot legend vertical borders to view both plots. Select one of the plot to be bar plot (See the attachment)

How to combine a stacked bar chart and a line graph together in one report

I have a report in excel that has stacked bar chart and a line graph together in one report. I am trying to recreate the same in Webi, Is this possible? Did any one have similar requirement, could you please share the thoughts?

May be I don't understand correctly...
But if its really to separate chart area's;
just copy the datablock and format one as line and the other as barchart...

Cluster bar chart throwing XML exception

I am new to oracle Application express,
I want to create a cluster bar chart in a page.
I tried creating chart in region with chart as (SVG) and cluster bar. When I created the 1 series worked fine.
After I created the page I edited the chart attributes to add one more series.
After adding the second series I could not view and
I get below error in firefox

Bar codes in XML Publisher

I have a requirement to show Barchodes corresponding to Item Number in my XML publisher template.
Steps Followed:
I have created a form field corresponding to that Item Number and assigned a bar code font to that field. And previewed the same via Oracle template Builder. Bar code section is not populated.
Please clarify why the form field is not getting populated in Case of Bar code fonts.
If there is an alternative, Please suggest ASAP.

Is the data your want to show as a barcode coming out onto the published document now?
If so this is simple "font-change" in the RTF template. You also have to wrap the field with a leading and trailing * (assigned to the barcode front to) so the scanner knows when to start and stop its reading (so to speak)
You will also need to create a custom property that maps where the font file can be found on the server in the RTF templage.
I have some documentation i wrote up i can send you if you provide your email address... i should just put in on a web page...
