How to change archive destination folder

Hi,
Im using oracle 11g,
when i run this cmnd, im seeing the following
sql> archive log list
archive log list
Database log mode Archive Mode
Automatic archival Enabled
Archive destination /home/oracle/archivelog
Oldest online log sequence 2277
Next log sequence to archive 2279
Current log sequence 2279
the disk space is low on this destination folder
So I need to change the archive destination new folder /u03/arch
Please let me know how to change the destination

Hi Frustrated ;-) --
All I want to do is store my data files on a portable drive, like I do with my music library and my overdrive media audio books checked out from the library. I have 3 computers that I use regularly. The software (iTunes/Overdrive Media Console) is installed on all three of them, and when I connect my portable drive I simply point the software to that location to work with my own files.
I get that the software itself has to be installed on the actual computer rather than on a portable drive -- though certainly there's no reason it MUST be the C drive -- but the idea that you can't tell the software where you want it to maintain your data files is absurd.
When I got my Sony Reader I tried out their software, found it couldn't specify a library location, and decided to try ADE, figuring Adobe surely wouldn't make that mistake. Alas. After discovering that Adobe did in fact make the same mistake and apparently has no plans to fix it, I uninstalled ADE & went back to the Sony software. I figure if I'm going to have my software dictating where I can & can't keep my files, I might as well use the product that came with my device. It's no worse than ADE.
Since people have been complaining about this situation for 4 years and getting the same answer, I have to presume that Adobe is listening but doesn't care. I would like to at least hear the rationalization for their decision.

You might want to ask that question over in the iTunes for Windows forum. They should know if it's possible to change the location to and external drive.

BI 7.0 infospoke - how to change standard destination path on appl. server

I have the following problem:
I need to extract large amounts of data from infocubes to flatfiles. I have created an infospoke to do this. However, in this infospoke, the destination path, when I choose application server, is fixed.
In BW 3.x, there is a document "BW 3.1 Open Hub Extraction Enhancement Using Literal Filename and Path.pdf" that describes how to change the destination path for the application server.
This solution does not work for BI 7.0, I get short dumps, probably due to ABAP OO.
I need to extract the data to flat files on the application server, not on my local machine, nor into a table in SAP itself, so I need to change the destination path, because the amount of free storage is limited in the standard destination path.
Has anyone encountered this problem in BI 7.0 and solved it?

I never had a simmilar problem but, if you go to your InfoSpoke, right click --> "Change" you can see (and change... ) the following values:
Destination Type: FILE (the one you have choosen)
Application Server: Check Box (I think this is your setting)
Server name: (BW server)
Type of File Name: (Here you can choose Between "File Name" or "Logical File Name")
Appl.Server File N: "MY_FILE.CSV" (for example)
Directory: (The directory you want - take a look at the end of this post )
Separator: (The field separator)
Note : If you are working with Linux or Unix you have to look if the BW system user has the corresponding rigths to write in the FileSystem.
. In the beginning I advice you to use something like this /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<XX>/work

about Project 2007? We have Project 2007 SP3, and (a) it doesn't have an Office Button like the core Office 2007 products, and (b) the SharePoint Local Drafts folder isn't listed in the Save options. Please advise!

How to Change Outlook Default Folder for Insert-Attachment and Save Email/Attachemnt while Outlook is open (VBA)

Is it possible to programmatically do the above while Outlook is running? If so, I'm hoping to make that change from a Word macro.
I tried tinkering with the reg key and that doesn't work because it appears Outlook only respects it at startup time. Similary changing Word File-options-location of documents is respected only when Outlook starts.
I'm looking to seamlessly keep Outlook's default folder in sync with Word's default folder as the users change working folders in Word, which they do many times per day (and they chose the folder among a couple of thousand possibilities).
I'm hoping there is a difficult-to-find Outlook object I can manipuate to get to the end result. IF there is such an Object I have been unable to find it.

Hi Julie,
Based on my research, I think outlook object model doesn’t provide the way to change the default folder for insert attachment and save email/attachment.
The way to change it is that we need to modify the registry setting and the outlook app should be restart.

How to change iTunes Media Folder location after Hard Drive Died

I have been trying to figure this out from other posts but can't seem to find what I am looking for. I store all my music files on an external hard drive. Recently, the external drive died on me. Fortunately, I had the external backed up on another drive using Time Machine. I bought a new drive for the music and transferred the files onto the new drive. My question is what do I do next? Currently iTunes still searches for the files on the dead drive and I get the exclamation marks next to each song which is obviously not a surprise. I want to change the Media Folder preferences to the new drive but will I then lose all my playlists? Basically what I want to do is direct iTunes to the new drive and keep everything else intact. Is that possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All examples that I saw till now here, suggestes to change something in the page in Controller but based on something entered in the page. In my case is IN to OUT, I will render some item table with a specific value parameter based what is in the database. Being more specific, I have a html table and one column Col1 has a value and it will have a DESTINATION URL if another column Col2 is Null. I believe I would have to check somewhere if the Col2 is null or not and change the DESTINATION URL property.

How to change space between folder icon and text on personal toolbar?

I have a few folders on the personal toolbar with just a letter to indicate what they are, but on the theme I'm using, the letter is too far away from the folder it belongs to and partially falls under the next folder icon. I don't want to increase the spacing between all icons to show the full letter, as this decreases the amount of icons you can have on the toolbar. Instead I want to decrease the space between the folder and text belonging to it, so it's right next to it instead of 5 pixels away.

Did you check the value of the margin-left of the text?
You can set negative margin values if necessary.

From what I can work out you have two options - well three if
you include amending the links individually. My favoured method
would be to have two links and use build tags for each one and
assign these to your layouts. The other method would be use a find
and replace tool (e.g.
FAR. You can go into the
truecode to see the syntax required to be found and replaced. But
before you do anything with a find and replace tool, take a backup
of your project.
