How to change Artist/Creator EXIF field in JPEG file?

I need to change EXIF Artist field in original files from JPEG camera.
With LR I can change Creator metadata field. Then I can "Save Metadata to File" or "Export" the files.
"Save Metadata to File" changes IPTC and XMP fields, but EXIF field still empty.
"Export" fills EXIF Artist field with Creator - it is good, but re-compresses JPEG images - it is bad.
Is there a way to manage Artist EXIF field without re-compression?

I have the following scenario:
We have a central fileserver with a lot of marketing pictures. Our marketing people are looking for a solution to search pictures by data stored in the EXIF-metadata of the jpeg-files.
So I like to integrate this fileserver as a repository in KM, set up an index and let TREX do the search (as of note 663630 TREX can search the EXIF-Data of JPEG-Files).
As goodie I want to give the marketing people the possibility to browse through the pictures in an image gallery. This gallery should be consisting of a query-based taxonomy where all the pictures are sorted by special EXIF-data (e.g. name of the photographer).
Until now I have integrated the fileserver (as a FS-Repository) and create an index.
Before index creation I added the mime-type image/jpeg to the TREXValidMimeTypes.ini and restarted TREX.
After indexing the pictures could be found by its name, but the EXIF-data is not indexed.
Now my question:
Why TREX doesnt index the EXIF-metadata?
And how can I use the EXIF-data in an taxonomy?
System:
EP6.0 on WebAS 6.40 SPS16
TREX SPS16 Patch 2
KMC SPS16 Patch 2

Greetings to Berlin,
when triggered by KM, TREX will only index metadata that is known to KM as KM propertis.
I do not know in detail and am not at all sure, but you could try to create custom properties in KM that are called exactly like your EXIF-metadata, set them to "indexable", <b>not</b> fill them with values on KM side and then try again.
You may want to try this for just one of the EXIF-metadata as a test.
Even if that works somehow, the maximum result is:
- Property <b>name</b> existent in KM
- Property thus searchable an classifiable
- BUT property <b>values</b> will not show up in KM, as they will remain known only to TREX

Normally if you open a graphic in Acrobat, it automatically adjusts the PDF to the size of the graphic. It sounds as though you are doing something else to create a PDF. It would help to know how you created the PDF, you seem to be suggesting you did it with an online tool and not Acrobat. In that case you should go to the appropriate product forum.

How to change crystal report data field at runtime ?

I have a Crystal Report file ,which i am using to generate report for my windows form project .
In that report i have a filed called as Quantity which data type is set as decimal, the requirement is like that the number of value those comes after decimal point that should be set according to the value which is given by the user at the run time .
For eg: If user gives 1 at the run time then the report Qty field value set one value after decimal point. Like 12.1
if user gives 2 then Qty field the value is 12.22 like tat but user can give from zero to any number.. and if it is zero it should not show decimal
Note: The main idea hear is how to change the filed in Crystal Report decimal point value by using code(or we say writing code we need to set manually as user input it will change)
Can any body help me how to solve this issue .

I think you could probably make the field you see a formula field and take a parameter as the number of decimal places.
totext converts a number to a string.
totext({decimalField}, 2)
That's 2 decimal places.
You could probably substitute a {parameter} for that 2.
If not then you could substitute an entire formula.
To explore formulas:
foreach (FormulaFieldDefinition f in rpt.DataDefinition.FormulaFields)
MessageBox.Show(f.Name);
// f.Text = your new formula
Where rpt is an instantiated report.
Or add another string field which you display in the column and do the calculation with the original decimal.

Once transaction data is posted, GL Account cannot be made into an open item managed account. However, you can consider the following options:
1. GL Account Balance is ZERO: If the GL Account balance is ZERO, the GL Master record can be changed to Open Item managed Account or vice versa. But this will not change the transaction data already posted. Only future transaction data will be open item managed.
2. Until SAP version 4.0B SAP has provided a program to convert a GL Account to open item managed account after transaction data is posted (or vice versa). You can execute this program by blocking the GL Account and this will make the required changes in tables and also change GL Master record.
But this program is not available for execution in higher versions. Hence, you can copy the program into a Z Program and execute it. The name of the standard program is RFSEPA02.

How to change the order of fields when exported to csv

I am using LiveCycle Designer 8 and have created a great form with the correct tab order.
However, when the form is filled in and returned to me, the fields in the CSV file are all over the place. How can I make sure the fields in the CSV file are displayed in the same order as the tab order?

The actual requirment is to re-arrange the elements of the queryoutput node, to look more organised

How to change default response encoding for not jsp files

Question about Weblogic Portal&Serwer 10.
For standard web applications from war archiwes, html etc. files are send with default server response
"Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1".
The question is how to disable this default header
or how to change this header to correct encoding.
PS.
I found solution only for ear' applications ...
with file META-INF/weblogic-application.xml and webapp.encoding.default parameter. This works well for ear's.

What I was looking for, in a perfect world, was to set a preference to permanently sert a default folder on an external drive to store the .dvdproj files once they are made.......but your suggestion is close enough to my original intention.

You cannot change the value of variable in .bpel file using config plan. If you want to change value at runtime , you can use Preference variable. Below is the blog to help you understand more.

IN OBIEE How to change Writeback input text field into textarea?

I've got writeback working, OBIEE 10.1.3.3, but I want a 255 character in that writeback text field with word wrapping. because we Can't see to get input
type text to wrap, is it possible to change input type="text" to input type="textarea" for a writeback column?
I tried to included Html with javascript code in Writeback column properties under CSS custom option.it's also not working

1) i have cheked you link there is no word Wrapping output, I want to view my writeback filed morethan one line ,is there any way to set instead Horizondal and vertical bar in that writeback filed. like Auto extending TestArea (it have Scrolling bar).
2) Onemore thing also required,once i gave maximum length of WriteBack field 255 characters. but is not controlling it's allowing morethan 255 characters.kindly tell me how to control the lenth of the writeback field .
Note: I am using SQL server DB,in DB and BI Answres writeback column properties i given 255 characters only but it's allowing morethan 255 characters.

For your scenario, you need to have two cellVariant as TableStandardCell (say successTSC & failTSC). Add tableCellEditors to these 2 TableStandardCell as you like. Mark there variantKey property as var1 & var2 respectively.
Do change the cellDesign as you like the color for the TableStandardCell.
Bind an attribute selectedVariant to your column selectedCellVariant property.
Now in wdDoModify you can write:

I created a query and infoset using sq01,sq02 transaction i have Cost Center field in the query that is pointing to P0001-KOSTL.
when i execute the query by giving the cost center criteria ,query is getting executed on the Local Cost Center .But i want that to be executed on Global Cost Center.
Does Cost Center point to Local Cost Center only.How will I change it to point to Global Cost Center

Bala,
Your question is not clear. Cost center is maintained on employee infotype 0001 (home cost center) or in infotype 0027. If the selection criteria is on costcenter field on IT 0001 then query will filter based on that.

Exporting podcast how to change "Artist"

I'm exporting a podcast using GB3. I've changed the user name to "Anne" but the artist keeps coming up as "Chris" (the former user of the computer), I've also changed the 'composer name' in the preference to "Anne". But after exporting and loading into iTunes, the Artist name still comes up as "Chris". Does anyone know how I can make the iTunes artist "Chris"?

Transactions SMOD and CMOD are available for enhancing and preassigning fields for devices.
There is one customer exit under the SAP enhancement EMDK0001.
When creating a device using Plant Maintenance (PM), you can enter data directly onto the Other tab page. You do this by using transaction IQ01 to define enhancement ITOB0001. This is not possible via transaction IQ04. In change mode, however, you can use both transactions to access customer-specific fields.
Table EQUI contains device data. The customer include CI_EQUL is used to include customer-specific fields in the database table. You cannot preassign fields for devices. You can use the field selection to display fields for device and connection (both based on equipment) differently.
