How to change BPS multiplanning area variable selected value

Hi!
I have a variable, Drop down list, filld with an exit. Now the variable is filld with values and the value selected last time is marked as selected when application is started. I need to start with the variable unselected or take control over whitch value to have as selected.
Any sugestions how to do that?

Hi,
whenever we execute layout second time, it will always show the last saved variable value.
what can you do in this case, clear the output of the variable exit at the start in the exit itself.

How to change Order of display variables in WAD.

Hi,
I am woking in BW 3.5 WAD.
I am using a standard template in which 2 queries can be embedded.
now I have different variables in both the queries hence the order of dispaly variables
in not as per my desire.
In query properties we can change the order of varialbes but,
I want to change that order, how do I achieve it in WAD?

If you create a regular playlist in iTunes, you have to update it manually. Remove old podcast episodes and add new ones, put them in any desired playlist order.
If you want to automate the process, you can probably get what you need using a Smart Playlist. To create a new Smart Playlist, click the plus sign below the iTunes sidebar, and select New Smart Playlist.
Check the box for Match ALL of the following rules. Then add the rules needed to get what you want on the list.
The first rule you need is to put podcasts on the playlist.
Media Kind - is - Podcast
To exclude podcasts that have been played
Plays - is - 0 ("zero")
Those two rules should give you a playlist with unplayed podcast episodes. To include only specific podcasts, not all podcasts, use the checkbox for Match only checked items (and you'll need to uncheck the podcasts you don't want on the iPod).
Also check the box for Live updating.
Click OK. See if that Smart Playlist creates a playlist with the podcast episodes you want. If you need to change the rules, right-click on the Smart Playlist and Edit Smart Playlist. You can post back if you have some other ideas that you want "translated" into rules.
To put the podcast episodes in order by Date Added, select the Smart Playlist in iTunes so that you see the list of items. If Date Added is not one of the columns shown on the list, right click in the list's header area and select Date Added. To sort by Date Added, click on Date Added in the header. Click on it again, if you need to reverse the order.
Sync that Smart Playlist to the shuffle. It should play in the order shown in iTunes.
An iPod shuffle is meant to be a simple device. It doesn't have a screen (where you can change a bunch of preference settings), so it is designed to operate in a certain way. If you need the iPod to work more flexibily, you may want to get an iPod nano instead.

How to include text lable in Variable selection screen (Web Reporting)

I have created one query and in Web Report-->variable selection screen I have one Date field for that field I have to display a label stating that user to input date in the format YYYY.MM(like a text label).Actually I have created 10 to 12 report . I need u r suggestion such that a single change will reflect my requirement in all the reports and I have created all the reports for same multiprovider.

Prompts can originate from one of two places: either via Designer and using the @prompt functionality or while creating the report building a prompt in the Query Filters panel. If the prompt was built using the @prompt method, and all 10-12 reports are using that particular @prompt, then one change via Designer will cause all reports to reflect the new verbiage. If you built the 10-12 reports using the prompt in the second scenario, then each individual report needs to be opened, modified and then saved. If you must use the latter method, then you can open the first report, modify the prompt verbiage, then highlight the new verbiage with your mouse and hit Control-C (which copies that text to the Clipboard of your Windows system). Then go to the second report, locate the verbiage that needs to be changed, delete it, then Control-V (which pastes), and voila, some keyboarding strokes are saved....

You please try the following steps:
1. Say the InfoObject is 0EMPLOYEE against which you have created the variable, which user is trying to select value against, when they execute the report.
2. Goto RSA1-> InfoObject tab-> Select InfoObject 0EMPLOYEE.
3. Selcet the following options:
Query Execution Filter Val. Selectn - 'Only Posted Value for Navigation'
Filter Value Repr. At Query Exec. - 'Selector Box Without Values'
Please let me know if there is any more issue. Feel free to raise further concern

KdeGraphics-Okular - How to change the color of Text Selection tool

I'm trying to know how to change/fix the color of the Text Selection Tool (Ctrl + 4). Because when I highlight the text, it's only one color (Dark Blue) that make me could not read clear.

The highlight color is determined by the system-wide color scheme that you're using. There's no way to change it only for okular.

How to change picture message priority for selecting pictures?

I recently was making a picture message for a friend, and when I selected the add attachment icon it brings up the screen for you to select from your "gallery" or your "files"
Then you select which one and hit always select this option or only once.
I accidentally hit the files section and hit always select that option and honestly I don't want to have to go through all of my files every time to find my picture and would rather have it be gallery every time.
Does anyone know how to change this?

How to change unicode of a variable in PowerShell

I am trying to store a value of a git command into a variable. The command results in a name that contains a Danish Alphabet character. When I give that git command only, on the prompt I get the correct result. As shown below:
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> git config user.nameJohn Møller
but when I store the result of this command into a variable and then display that variable I get different result. what wrong am i doing? Is it something to do with unicode utf8? can I use get-content -encoding utf8 to change the unicode setting of a variable.
I know get-content work with files.
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $nameingit = git config user.name
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $nameingit

This is my code which I am trying to run i PowerShell. I am simply comparing two values. One is coming from a command "$nameingit = git config user.name" and other from $name which full user name of the current user on the machine. next, i first
check if there is any special character in the $name or $nameingit. if it is there then i try to use get-content command to change the unicode to utf8. But it does not work for me. All the links talk about sending out put to file in utf8 but I want to change

How to change Bright White areas to a color?

In Elements 6, every time we try to change bright white areas to another color, it doesn't work.
No matter what color is picked, the result is always an area of dark, charcoal gray.
Evidently, the program does not recognize Bright White as a color.
Is there a way to make these changes using this program?

Well, ... it was worth trying.
Evidently, we can't get there from here.
After sharpening and adjusting the shadow & highlight levels on the the color image, we opened the Hue / Saturation box.
All the levels were zero, and the preview box was checked.
Moving the cursor over the three eyedropper icons produced a circle icon with a diagonal slash in it.
Moving the cursor over the image produced the eyedropper icon.
There were no controls on the color band at the bottom.
Clicking the mouse with the icon on the image did nothing.
When the "colorize" box was checked, in addition to "preview" the image changed a lot.
The sliders showed 180 on hue, 25 saturation, and zero on lightness.
Moving the sliders altered the image, but did nothing to the White.
The eyedropper icons were still blocked, and clicking the eyedropper on the image didn't seem to have any effect.
Ever the word "colorize" is missing from the glossary!
( This is not putting color into a B & W image. )
There are no instructions we could find in the "help" section that even mention that box.
Some of the instructions concerning retouching might apply, and be useful, but that's not "colorize".
Any idea what's happening here?

I solved this by using an other approach.
Created a report and filtered the first resolts by certain value. Added a label.
Used combine with similar request and filtered again.
Created so many combines for the number of results I need to filters
In result columns renamed the label with a description which is a common denominator for all the labels
In pivot table, moved the main label to Rows and appled the sum

Iam passing Material Numner Vlaues through select-options.
My requirement is i need to prefix and postfix star to the Material.
For that i have written logic like below.
LOOP AT S_MATNR.
S_MATNR-SIGN = 'I'.
S_MATNR-OPTION = 'EQ'.
CONCATINATE '' S_MATNR-LOW '' INTO S_OBJKY-LOW.
APPEND S_OBJKY.
ENDLOOP.
What my problem is if user enters high low and high values how we can write the logic.

I suppose you want to prefix & postfix a '*' to allow for selecting data using patterns.
Unfortunately you cannot use CP (read: patterns) if the HIGH value is not initial. read SAP documentation on SELECT-OPTIONS.

How to change a customer exit variable in columns

Hallo Experts,
i have a query with two columns. In the first column is a customer exit variable, who get filled with the actual calyear. In the second column is the same variable with an offset -1.
When i execute the query, in the first column i can see the year 2007 and in the second column i can see 2006. That´s ok.
Now i want to change the year (dynamically) in a filter 2007 in 2005. The result should be in the first column 2005 and in the second column 2004.
What can i do?

As I understand the scenario, you have two RKF or selections in column 1 and 2, one is restricted with variable ZYear, the other with the same variable, offset - 1 and variable ZYear provides current year.
I think there is no way to change years dynamically in a filter, but you could solve the issue by refreshing the query and overwrite default value provided by customer exit.
To achieve this, please change variable and check 'Ready for input' in change dialog..
If this shouldn't work, please let me know details a variable definition and customer exit.

Transport of BPS planning area (variables) without transp. all pl. levels

Hi!
Can anybody advice me, how to transport new variables which I have created to a planning area, without transporting all planning levels which belong to it?
I transported a few planning levels that include the new variables I created to the planning area. As a result, the planning levels are transported but the new variables are missing. I don´t want to transport the whole planning area, since it contains a development which is not ready yet. Can I transport the missing variables with SE15 (how?) or is there some other way to do it?

Please execute program UPC_TRANSPORT_BPS_ALL and transport your variables without transporting any level or area.
