How to change computer iPhone syncs to without losing info

I bought a new iMac and am trying to set it up so I can use it to sync my iPhone (original not 3g) instead of the old PC we were using and are trying to phase out.
When I plug the phone into the iMac and try to sync, or even manually manage music, I get the message that "the iPhone is synced with another iTunes library, do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?"
I don't care about losing the music/pictures that are on the iPhone, as I can easily re-add them to the iPhone. However, I DO NOT want to lose the contacts, text messages, notes, and other data that is on the phone.
I have found hacks online to be able to sync an iPhone with multiple computers continuously, however I am simply looking to CHANGE the computer my phone syncs to, not use multiple computers all the time.
When I moved our music to the iMac, I created a new music library because it was much easier than doing the "consolidate library" process that I have had a ton of problems with in the past. Is this now creating the problem with the phone?
We're slowly trying to move all of our products to Apple...but Apple is not making this process very easy!

Thanks very much! That message "iphone is synced with another itunes library...erase this iphone" is an awful message. It should just read "music" and not "erase this iphone". I didn't care about erasing all my music on my iphone, as I have it all on my computer stored safely. I did not want to lose my contacts, applications, txt msgs, call history, etc. I thought Apple was supposed to be user friendly.... changing computers that my itunes library uses was very stressful because I couldn't find out how to properly do it without "erasing my iphone". There needs to be an article on this at apple.com! If there is one, please point me to it so I can bookmark it for the next time I switch computers

You need to copy your iTunes folder from your old computer to your new one. In addition, any pictures and contacts that you want saved should be transferred as well.
Remember, the iPhone CANNOT by design be used to shuttle data from one computer to another.

I never changed the apple id on her machine and she now has over a thousand pics that she doesn't want to lose and this friday I'm picking up the new iPad. What are my options in regards to the pics? Also there is no iTunes via computer as an option. Thanks

Are you talking of permissions in Roles etc or its somewhere additional we might have references?
Not it will not be in permissions or roles. Off the top of my head you would be looking for references to "Measure Group1" in child objects of the measure group, so partitions and aggregations and maybe calculated measures. They would most likely look something
like the following:

What can happen is that you might have emptied your iTunes library for any reason such as a system restore
If this is the case, you first need to Import iPhone library to iTunes and then, you'll be able to sync your iPhone with iTunes with no problem

SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......

Installing Maverick on my Mac lost almost all of the calendar entries. They are still on my iPhone and new entries move freely to both devices via iCloud. How do I get the entries from my iPhone to iCloud without losing them from iPhone?

Like many others after I installed Maverick I found that all the calendar history has been lost and most of the forward info has also been lost. Also in order to get calendar, contacts and notes to sync with the iPhone I have had to move to iCloud. Contacts and notes sync fine. new calendar entries sync ok. My iPhone has all the calendar entries that were on the Mac before I installed Maverick. So far iCloud has not overwritten them nor have they synced onto iCloud.
How can I get all the entries from my iPhone onto iCloud, without losing the only copy of my calendar from my iPhone?
Thanks Apple for deciding to take over my privacy. I do not want this data stored on a US based server. Fortunately Mail still syncs via my own email provider. I guess Apple will find a way to stop that soon too!

It seems you are experiencing an issue with contact syncing and management. It seems you've removed an email account which contained a number of contacts that are not associated with your iCloud account. The contacts from the vCard are added to the All Contacts group in Contacts. You can add the contacts to any other group by dragging them to the desired group.

The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

you'd need to change the base wsdl, the generated one (_Name.wsdl) and the bpel.file .. and remove the generated classes .. (all in domains/you_domain/tmp/your_process dir)
the wsdl needs to get the output msg to the input msg instead of a callback porttype, the same needs to be in the generated wsdl (don't forget to remove the callback role in plnk session).. and the bpel process needs to have a reply instead of the invoke ..
this is what you would need to do .. BUT, maybe we can find a better solution for you, if you elaborate on the usecase..
during design time this is easier :-)
