How to change Default number of rows displayed in a Briefing Book

Hi,
We have a requirement to deliver a dashboard containing 7 dashboard pages to the business users.
To achieve this, I have created a briefing book by adding all the required dahboard pages and scheduled an agent to deliver the briefing book in PDF format. However, the briefing book delivered by the agent shows only 25 rows for all the analysis (reports) included in the dashboard pages.
I have already made the following settings:
1. At the report level, edited the table view property to show 150 Rows Per page.
2. At the dashboard page level, edited the PDF and Print properties to Print All Rows.
3. Edited the instanceconfig.xml file to include the following tag under <Table> tag: <DefaultRowsDisplayedInDelivery>15000</DefaultRowsDisplayedInDelivery>
Please advise if there is any setting which can help in increasing the default number of rows in a Briefing Book (OBIEE 11.1.1.3).
Thanks & Regards,
Sumit

Hi,
This is a bug in 11.1.1.3
Bug 12671370 - BRIEFING BOOKS DO NOT SHOW ALL ROWS
As a workaround, you may want to click on the "Display Maximum(500) rows per page" button on the dashboard page before you download to Briefing books. This will work for reports with less than 500 rows.

  • Changing the default number of rows displayed in a interactive report

    Hi,
I have a sql query based interactive report but i cant change the default number of pages i.e 15.
is there any way to change the number of rows displayed.
    Thank you,
    rakesh

    Hi,
That was very useful document that you shared, yes that is correct we can so it this way but there is another way doing it where in if you go to the report attribute section and in that there is Layout and Pagination and under
that you can fix the number of rows, and over there we can also accept values from page item such as if the page item value changes the number of rows displayed in the report changes dynamically.
In my report i get only pagination but not a option for layout.
    Any help will be appreciated.
And also where i can get the links to the similar document that you have shared ?
    TY

I have two accounts on my iTouch..I know how to change the number of mails displayed for the exchanged account (being the second-added email account)...But I don't know how to change it on my account email... I only want the recent like 20 messages to be displayed... But after I was reading through my email (meaning that pretty much all my emails were downloaded).. I couldn't decrease the number of emails displayed on my account email anymore....

Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars>Mail>Show Recent Messages. The least amount that you can set it for is 50 messages.

  • How to set the number of rows displayed in a classical report at runtime?

    Hi,
Our customer has several standard client hardware configuration and would like to enable end users to choose their 'display profile' at login time. This 'display profile' would contain predefined values for these hardware configurations and supposed to set various paramters that should define the number of rows displayed in a classical report region.
I tried to provide parameters on the report region but it refused to accept anything but numerical values. Is it possible to do this?
    Regards, Tamas

The link is to the closest linkable point in the documentation to the description of the Number of Rows (Item) attribute.
It sounds like you have been trying to enter&mdash;unsuccessfully&mdash;an item name or substitution string into the Number of Rows attribute. The Number of Rows (Item) attribute is the one that actually allows you to do this. Click on the flashlight icon beside it to get a list of items from the application.

  • How to change the number of items displayed on the screen based on user input

I need to place a number of input clusters on the user's screen based on the number of input types he will have.  Is there an easy way to do this?  (Say I have 3 different electrodes, I want to be able to add information for each then take this information and add it to a database, this case adding three new record sets to the database.  If I only have one electrode though, I only want one cluster on the screen and only one recordset will be added to the database)

Place your clusters in a 1D array and create a property node for the array. You can use the Number of Rows property to control how many elements are shown. Wire the array into a for loop to index it.

  • How to change default number format for saved data in signalexpress

I cannot find an option for determining format and precision of saved data. By default it is scientific with i think 3 siginificant numbers. How and where to do it?

Stjepan, it sounds like you're right where I was 2 months ago! Glad to see I'm not the only one struggling w/ SE.
Here's what I've had to do to control the precision of the data in my ascii file.
Insert an Amplitudes and Levels step from Analysis>Time Domain Measurements.
In the A&L settings, deselect Export RMA Value (keep Export DC Value selected).
Now drag that DC signal from the A&L step into your data view (literally drag and drop this signal  onto the graph). From here you can configure the data view's properties to your likings, I.E, significant digits or digits of precision, floating point, etc.
I've found that Floating Point,  2 Significant Digits, and uncheck Hide Trailing Zeros to work well (visually speaking).
Insert your Save to ASCII step after the A&L step, and be sure to save your A&L's DC signal.
The data will export exactly as it's shown in the display.
TIP: you can rename your signals from any of the steps. This is handy because it's the renamed channel names that show up in your data headers (much more descriptive when you have multiple channels).
My apologies if this is all information you already know...

  • How to increase the number of row displayed in the result set.

    Hi All,
I have a seeded oracle page OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/pa/structure/webui/FPStructVersionPG from projects module.
On the above page, when we click on the financial tab to see the tasks, it shows only 180 tasks out of 298. I dont find any link on the page which would give me the rest of the tasks, overall it shows only 180 tasks.
I checked the VO query it picks up all the 298 records.

  • How to change default number tags shown in drop down

I have more than 10 tag categories, and would like to see them all when i go to recent tags or is there a way to add a tags in the bookmark drop down?

You will only see a maximum of 10 items in such a smart query list.
    * "Most Visited" and "Recently Bookmarked" and "Recent Tags" are examples of so called [[Smart Bookmarks folders|Smart Bookmarks folders]] and are not real existing folders.
    * Smart folders show a list created by a query of the places.sqlite database that stores bookmarks and history in Firefox.
    * Smart folder lists show a maximum of 10 entries by default.
You can possibly create a new place query bookmark and adjust the maxResults parameter.

  • 0ANALYZER Web Template - increase number of Rows displayed

    Hello All,
Is there a context menu command / popup value  that will allow an end-user to increase the *default* number of Rows displayed at a time (25)  when we are using the 0ANALYZER Web template?
We have about 100 characteristics anyway, so setting the displayed "chunks" of Rows to say 50 at a time would be quite reasonable.
We do not want to customise 0ANALYZER web template (and therefore any solution to add any extra buttons/JScript won't be acceptable)
    Any ideas 0ANALYZER experts?
    Thanks
    Ian

    Hi Ian,
My suggestion is that you make a copy of 0ANALYZER_PATTERN web template say ZANALYZER_PATTERN and make this your default web template. Now in the properties of your analysis grid of ZANALYZER_PATTERN, you can change the number of displayed columns and rows. But again this will be appplied to all web queries using this template.
If you want to change number of rows and columns dynamically, why not ask SAP netweaver team.
    Thanks.

  • The number of rows displayed in a JTable

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me how I choose the number of rows displayed in a JTable? My table displays 25 rows, and thats a bit too many.
    Thanks.

You dont need to do much.. I think you just have to initialze the table with ..
    JTablt t = new JTable(rows,cols);
and make sure to make the 'rows' parameter to whatever u want. :-)
    Cheers

  • Is it possible to change the number of rows while printing a contact sheet in Iphoto? Please help

Hi guys, I am struggling to find out how to change the number of rows on a contact sheet on Iphoto , i have selected my photos and i want it to print 6 photos on each page however I am not able to do it.      Please help me out, im a Art student and i need to submit my contact sheets for an assignment  Thanks in advance guys !!!!!

I don't think you can do that with the Contact Sheet layout.  If you have Pages or a 3rd party image editor that supports layers you can do what you want.  Or try the demo version of OmniGraffle for Mac It will run fully operational for 14 days.

I am viewing reports using BEx Web analyzer option. It is displaying only 24 rows  of data at a time. How to increase the number of rows? do i need to any kind of settings?
    pls reply.

    Hi,
I think the standard template in 2004s is named 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN. You can find it in Web Application Designer, open, and search for the technical name. If you want to change the number of rows or columns, you can find this setting near the bottom of the XHTML view of the template:
    <bi:BLOCK_COLUMNS_SIZE value="4" />
    <bi:BLOCK_ROWS_SIZE value="17" />
Then just save, and ignore the error messages.
