  • How to change directories once set

    I mistakenly entered public_ftp instead of public_html in the settings upload box. I want to delete the first directory.
    Is there any way to delete this file? If not, would a duplcation of my site allow me to change the first directory.
    Thanks. this is my first DW page....
    Dreamweaver cc
    os 10.9.1

    No sure where exactly you want to delete/Edit the root folder but if you are talking about changing in DW Site definition dialog box then you can edit it by going to:
    Site >> Manage Site
    1) Select your site from the list
    2) Click the second icon as shown in this picture
    3) Click on Servers
    4) Now make the changes for root folder as shown in this picture
    Is this what you want to do?

  • Socket ftp and changing directories.

    I am have trouble changing diretories when using the ftp command CWD when connected to an ftp through a Socket. Sometimes it changes forward and sometimes it doesnt, and it never goes back one directory.
    I use "CWD /webStuff", then I try to go back using "CWD ftp.host.com/rootFolder and it gives an error. Any suggestions on the proper format using CWD to change up and down directories?
    Do i need to type the full path (ex. ftp://ftp.host.com/)? I have no idea how this changing directories work, online they only talk about CD and the ftp I am using doesn't recognize CD. Only CWD. Can't find much about using CWD. Please help.

    well, I tried testing the ftp from the DOS prompt in
    windows XP. I can connect, but CWD is not a command
    in the windows command prompt. Sorry but that doesn't make any sense.
    Either you are or are not running a ftp client. An ftp client would have a console window. That console window is not the same as the windows command prompt.
    So i don' t know how
    I would test it. If you are in fact running a ftp client and the CWD command does not work then it means the ftp server does not support that command. That command is optional in the FTP protocol. In that case you can't 'move' within the directory tree - you have to connect directly to each directory.
    Also, I can connect to the ftp
    using a Socket object. Then I can log in using USER
    and PASS. The problem I have is changing
    directories. CWD is really confusing. I found
    something that using "CWD .." or "CWD ../" might
    work. You can try 'CDUP' as well. (And I have no idea why that is the name but it does go up the tree.)
    I have to try those. But what I'm really
    looking for is the ability to go lets say I log into
    ftp.host.com/Folder. And then I want to change to
    ftp.host.com/Folder/NextFolder/FinalFolder. And
    finally I want to change from that point to
    ftp.host.com/Folder/AnotherFolder/YetAnotherFolder.
    The command 'LIST' should return a list of directories. You would have to parse that list. Keep in mind that the result of this will vary by FTP server version. You can use the parsed list to
    'NLST' returns files names.
    Of course test both of the above to verify that not only that they work but what they actually return.
    windows command prompt you can use "cd \anyfolder"
    and it wil take you there. But am I limited to only
    going "CWD nextFolder" and "CWD ../" or can i jump
    to any Folder on the ftp somehow like I can in
    windows?Again, this depends on the FTP server. Like I said you need to actually test it. And test each version that you need to connect to.

  • How to change the default color of the selected row

    hi all,
    I need to know how to change the default color(yellow) of the selected row in a table component.whether i need to change anything in the stylesheet.If so, where should i make the changes in the stylesheet.
    thanks and regards,
    rpk

    The chart colors are being referred to *'palette.cxml'* file in these directories
    BI_HOME\web\app\res\s_oracle10\chartsupport
    BI_HOME\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home\applications\analytics\analytics\res\s_oracle10\chartsupport
    you can change to your custom colors.
    Restart OC4J and PS to make the new ones work..

  • JFileChooser incredibly slow both to initialize and to change directories

    I have searched the forums for this and haven't found anything useful. I have the following code running in jre1.6.0_07:
    JFileChooser objFileChooser = new JFileChooser();
    objFileChooser.setAcceptAllFileFilterUsed(true);
    objFileChooser.addChoosableFileFilter(new CookbookFileFilter());
    objFileChooser.setMultiSelectionEnabled(false);
    if(objFileChooser.showOpenDialog(this) == JFileChooser.APPROVE_OPTION)
         getModel().load(objFileChooser.getSelectedFile().getAbsolutePath());the first line takes upwards of 20-30 seconds or more to get past when debugging - I don't know how long it takes when running without the debugger however the application does sit for a while after pressing the hotkey to activate the actionlistener. That's a problem, but if that was the only thing, I would do as another post suggested and initialize the jFileChooser from a separate thread during the initialization of the window or application...however, I also run into an issue whenever I change directories where it takes a subset of the initialization time(maybe 10-15 seconds instead of 20-30) to change the directory. This happens in both System and Cross-Platform Look and Feel-s.
    I've looked into the issue with zip files and there are no (0) zip files(or archives of any kind) in the initial directory(My Documents folder). There is a small delay going to My Computer through Windows normally but it may be 1-2 seconds at most, and only sometimes. Notepad opens the Load / Save Dialogs within milliseconds and while I do understand Java is not Notepad, I'm willing to accept a few seconds (like maybe 5 or so), but not 20-30. I also looked into potentially using JDK 7 however I can't seem to get Eclipse to work with it and it consistently uses the JDK 6.
    If a solution can not be found to this, then is there a way to hook into the dialog/control in order to change the mouse cursor to the 'wait' cursor and change it back when the directory is ready? I'd like to provide some communication to the user. Thanks!

    camickr,
    I did include a "Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable Example Program (SSCCE)" in my initial posting; and I also included Code Formatting as everyone can see. I've been a programmer for over 10 years, closer to 15 and have almost 8 years experience with Java so I'm not about to ask a question without investigating the solution on my own first(to avoid wasting people's time. Admittedly all I posted was the snippet but that entire snippet could be put within Main like this below and it would be exactly the same without the waste of space. The machine I have running / developing this on is: Athlon 64 3000, 1 GB RAM, about 13 or 14 total hard drive partitions and removable media drives, running under Windows XP SP2. I can even eliminate the Choosable Filter in the example as I do below and the JFileChooser takes (31 seconds on average over 5 iterations, I timed it after I originally posted this) to fully display the dialog and all files and deliver control back to the user. That is unacceptable and one can not deny that it's the class itself when FileDialog runs significantly faster and programs outside of Java executing the standard XP File Dialog run even faster still. If this code is not good enough, I don't know how much shorter or self contained I can make this code example without removing the configuration lines between the initialization and that would defeat my cause as I need the Look and feel customization and prefer not writing my own File Chooser Dialog. Here's the code w/ the main function and all.
    import javax.swing.JFileChooser;
    public class Example
         public static void main(String[] args)
              JFileChooser objFileChooser = new JFileChooser();
              objFileChooser.setAcceptAllFileFilterUsed(true);
              objFileChooser.setMultiSelectionEnabled(false);
              if(objFileChooser.showOpenDialog(null) == JFileChooser.APPROVE_OPTION)
                   System.out.println("Approved");
    }Thanks,
    Seth

  • How to change SID on a SAP System with Maxdb ?

    Hello,
    I've tryed to migrate /clone a productive system from physical to virtual for testing, and it went OK.
    Now, i've done the same to another physical machine and SAP 4.6C r3 goes up,as well as the database MaxDB 7.5 on the new machine.
    but now i have two problems:
    First, the license key: i have to request a new one. i believe that i can do it using https://websmp110.sap-ag.de/licensekey
    Second: the SID is the same, as i have clone the system from one side to another. Same OS, same kernel, etc etc etc.
    In order to achieve the possibility to transform the new cloned system in a DEV system for my SAP landscape, i must rename the <sid> of my SAP.
    I've changed already the SAPSYSTEMNAME = PRD to SAPSYSTEMNAME = DEV, created a new user like "devadm" renamed the directories where i could find "prd" to "dev" and even in the /home/<sid>adm files i've changed everything from PRD to DEV.
    However, this have not worked for me. As that did not worked out, made the "cloning" again. And now i' again with the problem of entering the new license key ( i believe i can request it via that webpage mention above) and changing the <sid> of the system.
    Is there any sap not where i can see how to change the <sid> / SAPSYSTEMNAME ?
    Thank you
    my system is a RHEL5 with MaxDB 7.5 64 bits
    Filipe

    Hi Filipe,
    afaik the SID of a SAP instance cannot be changed later on.
    But this is not a db-topic - so you're basically asking the wrong people here in the forum.
    Perhabs is more suited for this question.
    Concerning the licensekey : yes, you will need a new one if you change the hardware or db platform.

  • How to change default alerts in iCal?

    Hello.
    Every time you add a new event in iCal, the Info panel of the event contains a series of default alerts that you may want to add to it. However, all of them are useless to me (e.g.: "Send email to <my address> 4 days after), so I need to manually edit them event by event. Anybody knows how to change them? I have already inspected all the plist files related to ical, and looked inside the ical package content, but I found no indication of where to change these values. Using iCal version 5.0.2
    Thanks,
    l

    John: Thank you, this is exactly what I wanted. I was indeed inspecting the plist with bbedit, but what I did not realize is that the file has some parts which are binary, so I could not see the PersistentMenu-lastUsedAlarms part by using a text editor. I opened it with Xcode and I did find what you were saying, and erased all the junk that was in there. In fact, the issue I had was also described here:
    http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Uk/uk.comp.sys.mac/2010-06/msg02349.html
    For some reason, it looks like after some upgrade the program adds were some positive values in the plist and I was stuck with default alarms that were set *after* the events I wanted to set an alarm for.
    I did what you suggested, then added by hand new values to the PersistentMenu part of the plist, and I am now happy.
    For everybody's information, to know what I did, it is enough to know to add Dictionary items to the  PersistentMenu-lastUsedAlarms, with 3 fields:
    -- AlarmTypeKey (this determines if you want a sound, or else an email, or else the other default alarm type keys. For example, sending an email is a Number, value 4; having a message with sound is a Number, value 3)
    -- AlarmDurationKey: This is a Number, in seconds, that determines when you want your alarm to trigger. E.g: -172800 will be two days before. Must be negative for "before", of course)
    -- AlarmParameterKey: This is a String, where you store the value that you want the alarm to have. For example, if you want an email to be sent, the AlarmTypeKey will be 4, as explained above, and this field will contain your email address. Instead, if you want the alarm to be a sound, the AlarmTypeKey will be 3 and this field will have the name of the sound you want (e.g., Basso).
    That's it. Thanks a lot for the solution!

  • How to change the OraSSO login link in webcache/load balance

    Hi
    we have 10gAsR1 installed as a Portal instance. We have 6-server
    load balancer => webcache as loadbalancer (listening port 80)
    Wb ch1 and wb ch2 => webcache (listening port 7777)
    portal1 and portal2 => Portal listening 7778
    infra =>Infrastruture with repository Portal/Oracle SSO (listening 7777)
    This set up is working fine for our intranet setup, now we need to open this for couple of external clients. Well initially we need to open on the load balancer server on port 80 for external team to access, it works fine when we make it publc access.
    Now when we need to make it SSO (siteminder) enables, when users click on login link it first goes oracle sso then it internally redirects the page to site minder sso.
    Well, I have noted that the sso server details are mentioned in global setting sso/oid details. Since we need to open this for external client we have to add a DNS entry for this so that we can allow its access over firewall..
    Now I have made DNS name change at my infrserver level, now I need to update the change at the load balancer server (where wheb chache is running).
    Any one know how to chang the URL at load balancer.
    I am struck at this point please suggest how should i proceed..
    Thanks,

  • How to change CUE ip address?

    Hi,
    We moved to a new location and using comcast as ISP. I was setting up the phone system today and met a few problems.
    1. First of all, all the phones are connected and working(total of 4), but I can only see 3 of them showing up in the CCA. Whats happening here?
    2. I wanted to change the user name which appears on the phone using the CCA, CCA told me that the settings were successfully sent to UC520, I restarted the phone and uc520, but the names on the phones remain unchanged?
    3. I forgot the password of the voicemail for one of the phone, and wanted to changed in the CUE. so I went to 10.1.10.1,but some comcast login page showed up instead of CUE. so I want to know how to change the IP address of CUE? I don`t know the CLI commands so please teach me if it can only be done with CLI. I have only used CCA in the past. Could this be the reason why for problem 1 and 2? I`m feeling wierd because all the phones can be used to call in/out.
    my data vlan is 192.168.0.0 and voice vlan is 192.168.2.0 let me know if you need any other info.

    how to change local ip address?Via an operating system command.
    It's not the sort of thing an application should be doing at all. IP addresses these days are assigned via DHCP. Why would you want to change it from within an application? It would probably disconnect all sockets for all running applications, invalidate the login, all kinds of bad effects.
    What is the actual requirement?

  • How to change keyboard map fmrweb.res for different forms

    I'm using Oracle Forms 10g with Oracle Forms and Reports Application server 10g.
    I know how to change fmrweb.res to change how keys function on web forms. The problem I'm having is I only know how to assign the fmrweb.res file when connecting to the application server, which means all forms running on that session have to use the same keyboard mapping.
    I know you can change the defualt fmrweb.res for all the forms executed on the application server
    and you can change the fmrweb.res file in the URL like
    server/forms/frmservlet?Form=login.fmx&config=dataentry
    (where dataentry is defined in the formsweb.cfg file)
    and in the config section I have
    [dataentry]
    term=fullpath/fmrweb_new.res
    My question is, is there a way to pick a different fmrweb.res file based on the form?
    Can you specify multiple forms in the basexxx.htm file(basejini.htm) in the PARAM section like
    <PARAM NAME="serverArgs"
    VALUE="module=form1.fmx term=fillpath/filename1.res"
    VALUE="module=form2.fmx term=fillpath/filename2.res"
    VALUE="module=form3.fmx term=fillpath/filename3.res"
    VALUE="module=form4.fmx term=fillpath/filename4.res">
    Is there a way to pass term=fullpath\filename.res to the Oracle Forms Web Runtime process for each form using call_form, open_form, or new_form?

    Posiible approach (i now it sounds strange):
    Configure your enter-key to fire the KEX-EXEQRY-Trigger.
    In the dataentry-form-module: Overwrite the KEY-EXEQRY-Trigger so thtat is just does a NEXT_ITEM; .
    I know there may be other implications depending of the compelixity of your dataentry-form, but maybe this helps.
