How to change "Edit In" behavior

I have Photoshop CC installed in the Applications folder of my startup drive, as normal. I also have a backup drive online which backs up the startup drive each evening. LR 5.5 insists on using PS from the backup drive for editing, instead of the copy in the Applications folder. If I turn off the backup drive, it still refuses to start the other copy. How can I change this? Thanks...

That is a pain..
I am sure that I had to delete the Lightroom Preference File and maybe even the PS one to solve this.

How to change edits in multiclips

I have been working with multiclips for some weeks now. But I have not found out how to make changes in the cuts (switching between the angles on the timeline).
I have learned (the hard way ;-)that I should not render a multiclip, because then I cannot change the clip the way I want to.
But I think FCP should allow me to correct the exact spots of my cuts in an unrendered timeline. Until now, I only use the 'make undo' command. Can't I change cuts I made yesterday or last week? Do I have to work through the whole multiclip again?

So you've edited your multiclip into a sequence and you want to change the angles that you've selected?
If that is the case, the easiest way to do that is to control-click on the video and/or audio angle in the (un-collapsed) multiclip in your timeline and select a new angle for the Active Angle property. Also, in case it's not clear from your experiences, you can most certainly Add Edit (Control-V) in the timeline and then alter the angle (by control-clicking) for only a portion of your previous cut. And, as stated already, if you select the edit point, you can roll your edits as needed.
Or, if you want to do this while previewing/playing:
Load the Multiclip keyboard layout (Tools > Keyboard Layout > Multi-Camera Editing)
If you'd like to watch the Multiclip view in the Viewer, make sure the Playhead sync is set to Open (Control-Shift-O)
Now, when playing press the = key on your numeric keypad will it will place a marker which tells FCP to switch to the Next Angle for that cut in your multiclip once you stop playback (Pressing the Clear key - also doubling as the Num Lock key - on the numeric keypad places a marker to switch to the Previous Angle)
If you've got an Angle in mind, you can simply press 1-0 on the numeric keypad to place a marker to switch to that angle (the 0 key is for angle 10, by the way)
Finally, if you simply want to do this while paused, the keyboard shortcuts (from steps 3 & 4) work to instantly change the angle for your cut.
Or is all this not working for you?

I have a simple problem. I have a table of several columns, and I want it to be editable without using a mouse. I want user to enter value in the first column, press enter key on keyboard, enter value in second column, press enter key,
and so on. I want data grid view to open another row only when all columns in the working row are populated. However, pressing the enter key causes opening new row whenever user presses the enter key.
I tried to set current cell of data grid view in CellValueChanged event , but it didn’t work. Actually, it really moves current cell where I want, but after that it moves it one row down.
I traced the execution of code, and counted CurrentCellChanged events to see what happens.
Does anyone know if there’s any way to suppress this behavior?

It perhaps be better using Tab key which is exactly used for switch focus to the next cell instead of dealing with enter key.

Config. Portlet Template/Object Categories - How to change "Edit inline?"?

Hello!

by your help i looked at chapter 8,9 of ADFBC tutorial at http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/ADFBC_tutorial_1013/index.htm
and also chapter 10 of ADF Developers Guide , but still i did not figure it out .
what i found is that we can create View Objects that are filtered (we can use custom sql statement to initiate the view object data) but this feature is just supported for Oracle database and can not be used with Mysql.
do i look at the correct place for learning what you point out ?
does feature that you said just works with Oracle database ?

How to change edit button

I am adding a new page to my sample test apps AnyCo Corp. the new page has edit button (a pencil and paper icon).
But when I run the page, I saw that its not the same edit icon as the other pages. i tried to edit the pages
again and click on BUTTONS region, but i cannot see any edit icons there.
Where do I search this edit icon please.

Go to the button definition and use the following settings:
Button Style: Image
Button Image: #IMAGE_PREFIX#xxxxx.xxx
Where xxxxx.xxx is the image name. These images are stored in the /i/ folder on the server. For a list of the ones that were available to me on my OTN workspace, see: [http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=45958:21].

You can't change sequence settings. But you can create a new sequence and cut/paste the clips into it.

How to change ADF default session time out behavior to count down

the ADF default session time out will show a message before some time set in the web.xml , after this time anther alert will show the time out message.
But our recruitment what use one message dialog first show the session will be out then count down the time at last show the session time out message.
Dose ADF provide interface to change this ?

If using pure JS and Html I can write thousand way to implement session time out function , but we use ADF :
ADF limit user to do a lot of thing but only use itself way , it is very hard to change its component's behavior and also hard to get doc introducing how to change its behavior though it can be change.
So what I want to know if there any interface ADF left to change itself session time out behavior , I think your answer is no.

For the life of me, I can't find out what size a photo is in terms of inches or how to change the size of the photo[s] so I can print them. I think I read somewhere to click edit, then click adjust. Nothing there about sizing.

With respect to digital images, there really is no size in inches. The size is given as number of pixels horizontally and vertically. In iPhoto '09 you click the little "i" inthe lower right side of the window and it will display information related to the selected photo, including the pixel dimensions. I do not have iPhoto '11 installed so I don't know if it is the same there.
In some applications, such as preview, it has something additional called Dots per Inch (DPI) which you would think would allow you to convert the pixel dimensions to inches. It is not a real thing, though. The DPI is determined by how large or small you have chosen to print your photo and the capabilities of your printer.
There is also something called Aspect Ratio, which is usually expressed in inches x inches such as 6x9 but that doesn't mean the size on the screen or when printed is 6x9. It is the ratio of the pixel dimensions. When cropping your photos, you will have several standard aspect ratios to choose from plus any custom ones you create.
In iPhoto '09, after you choose Print, in the Print Setting window are the settings for the size you want the photo printed. You want to shoose a setting with the same aspect ratio of your photo. Otherwise, iPhoto will resize and/or crop your photo to fit the size you have chosen.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to modify the width of the New Form and Edit Form of a list in SharePoint 2010 .
1.Go to your SharePoint site -> your list.
2.In top ribbon click List tab(List Tools).
3.Towards right you will see option as Form Web Parts, click on it, the three forms will be listed there [New Form, Display Form, Edit Form].
4.Select the one on which you want to increase the width/height.
5.It will open in edit mode, click on Add a Web Part.
6. Click on Forms [Categories] => HTML Form Web Part.
7.After adding the HTML Form Web Part, click on Edit WebPart.
8.Click on Source Editor, Remove all code from it and put an empty HTML table with width and height as per your requirement ex. to increase width

</TABLE>
9.Save the form and check out your respective modal by clicking on the same in your list view.

I had tried what you sad.I open shared service in that foundation project i had export shared service.after that in import-export file.In that role.csv,user.csv,group.csv.Like this file have.When i open user file added some users after i trying save in excel it shown messgse

If the mouse clicks something on its own then it looks like you have a hardware problem with the trackpad or possibly the battery that is right underneath the trackpad.
I have read that the battery can swell and that would put pressure on the trackpad.
