ive started projects in premiere cs6 mixing formats with dslr and gopro hero3 clips... ive seem to be stuck in arri mode?.. even when i drag clips tp the creat sqeuince function?...maybe i need some tutorials or info ?...

You can't change sequence settings. But you can create a new sequence and cut/paste the clips into it.

How to customize 'Edit Mode' screen buttons

Does anyone know how to customize the buttons on the screen in 'Edit Mode' of Java portlets?
I would like to change the text of the buttons intead of the standard 'Apply, OK and Cancel'.

You could actually change these Labels on the buttons by modifying the DefaultContainerRenderer for the required PortletDefinition. By default every mode renders data using the DefaultContainerRenderer class, this class is capable of painting the Headers and Footers.
You need to write a new class MyDefaultContainerRenderer extending from DefaultContainerRenderer and override the method renderDesignFormBodyBegin(..).
You should be very careful in overriding this method as not to effect the base fucntionality. Also these Labels are actually NLS compliant so you also need to make sure to be NLS compliant for the new labels.
Finally, you need to specify the PortletDefinition to make use of new MyDefaultContainerRenderer excluding the default one by adding the following tag under portlet definition tag:

How to change Layer Mode in Flash CS3?

Hello,
I would like to know how to change the layer mode to
"multiply" with flash.
I usually use photoshop CS2 to color my lineart. I set the
top layer (the lines) to "multiply" to make the white transparent,
and then apply color on layers underneath.
I want to learn how to color my art on Flash, but I'm still a
noob. I imported my bitmap lineart (inked by hand) and turned it
into vectors (modify>bitmap>trace bitmap). Then I created a
second layer underneath for the color, just like I would do in
photoshop.
But, the first layer's white areas are not transparent, so
the color is not visible.
So basically I just need to know how to change the top
layer's mode to "multiply" so I can see through the white areas .
Any help will be very appreciated.

Convert the top layer's artwork (raster or vector, doesn't
matter) into
a movie clip symbol -- select the artwork and go to Modify
> Convert to
Symbol -- and you'll be set. Once the symbol exists, you'll
see mode
choices in the Property inspector.

I'm using the function "REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY", in the classic method. I want to switch from display to edit mode when the user press the edit mode button. But I don't get it to work.
So far as I know building up the ALV is correct so I don't put all the source code here.

This is what I'm already doing in the program by setting the edit mode for the column '3_ATWRT'. But I want to switch from edit to display mode and back again. This is not working. Only when I buildup the fieldcatalog this is working?

How to change connection mode on WEBDB

I would like to ask if anyone know how to change the connection mode on WEBDB from socket to HTTP, aside from configuring the formsweb.cfg is there any parameter I need to modify? Would be advisible to change my connection mode to HTTP? I have 2 remote site that I need to give access to our application (forms/reports) and we are connected using VPN, but unfortunately, our remote site could not display the forms. But in our local network I don't have any problem, everyone can display our forms. Currently my forms server is configure to use socket as my connection mode. Do I have to change my connection mode in order for my 2 remote site to access our forms?

I'm editing some NTSC footage and half way through it I realized that I am editining in PAL mode. How can I switch my project editing mode to NTSC without loosing all my editing work? When I go to menu Project-Project Settings-General, the Editing Mode drop down for PAL, NTSC is grayed out.

Elements 3.0 - Change editing mode and timebase?

Hey all,
I'm using Premiere Elements 3.0 and I'm trying to create a custom preset for my new project. My source files for this project are all at 23.976 frames per second, so I wanted the project to match that. But in the "Custom Presets" window, the drop-downs for Editing Mode and Timebase are greyed out - I cannot change the settings to anything other than 29.97 fps. Plus, the only Display Format options have 30 fps.
Is there any way I can set these to 23.976 or 24 fps?

How to exit edit mode (editable comboBox)?

I have an editable comboBox. When a user clicks on the text
area, he can rename the text and the idea is to click outside the
comboBox to commit the new value.
The problem now is when the user clicks outside the comboBox,
the comboBox remains in edit mode(with the blinking prompt). How do
I make it get out of that mode?

setting comBox.editable=false in the function where you
commit the vaules will solve this purpose.
Also remember to set it in edit mode when click event on the
combobox happens

How to change blending mode on multiple layers at the same time

I'm using CS5. I have a document with about 70 layers. I would like to change the blending mode to "lighten" for each layer. Is there an easy way to do this?

Photoshop doesn't allow multiple layer editing. That's why the styles are grayed out. Only 1 layer at a time.
What version are you talking about?
CS5 definitely let’s one apply a Style to multiple Layers.
rfcommagere, I don’t know how to make it much clearer:
• set the Blending Mode on one Layer
• with that Layer selected create a Style with »Include Layer Blending Options« checked
• select all other Layers that should have that Blending Mode
• click the Style in the Styles Panel

How to change edits in multiclips

I have been working with multiclips for some weeks now. But I have not found out how to make changes in the cuts (switching between the angles on the timeline).
I have learned (the hard way ;-)that I should not render a multiclip, because then I cannot change the clip the way I want to.
But I think FCP should allow me to correct the exact spots of my cuts in an unrendered timeline. Until now, I only use the 'make undo' command. Can't I change cuts I made yesterday or last week? Do I have to work through the whole multiclip again?

But I have not found out how to make changes in the cuts (switching between the angles on the timeline).
So you've edited your multiclip into a sequence and you want to change the angles that you've selected?
If that is the case, the easiest way to do that is to control-click on the video and/or audio angle in the (un-collapsed) multiclip in your timeline and select a new angle for the Active Angle property. Also, in case it's not clear from your experiences, you can most certainly Add Edit (Control-V) in the timeline and then alter the angle (by control-clicking) for only a portion of your previous cut. And, as stated already, if you select the edit point, you can roll your edits as needed.
Or, if you want to do this while previewing/playing:
Load the Multiclip keyboard layout (Tools > Keyboard Layout > Multi-Camera Editing)
If you'd like to watch the Multiclip view in the Viewer, make sure the Playhead sync is set to Open (Control-Shift-O)
Now, when playing press the = key on your numeric keypad will it will place a marker which tells FCP to switch to the Next Angle for that cut in your multiclip once you stop playback (Pressing the Clear key - also doubling as the Num Lock key - on the numeric keypad places a marker to switch to the Previous Angle)
If you've got an Angle in mind, you can simply press 1-0 on the numeric keypad to place a marker to switch to that angle (the 0 key is for angle 10, by the way)
Finally, if you simply want to do this while paused, the keyboard shortcuts (from steps 3 & 4) work to instantly change the angle for your cut.
Or is all this not working for you?

I have Photoshop CC installed in the Applications folder of my startup drive, as normal. I also have a backup drive online which backs up the startup drive each evening. LR 5.5 insists on using PS from the backup drive for editing, instead of the copy in the Applications folder. If I turn off the backup drive, it still refuses to start the other copy. How can I change this? Thanks...

That is a pain..
I am sure that I had to delete the Lightroom Preference File and maybe even the PS one to solve this.

How to change Access Mode of HANA Stored procedure

Hi,
When you are creating a stored procedure as design time object, one of the option is access mode (either read only or read/write).
I understand read only is default setting in HANA DB, and unless you explicitly change the setting you cannot read/write using stored procedure.
My question is, is there way to change this setting, so I have option to choose either read or read/write when I create a stored proc?

You have to enable sqlscript_mode to UNSECURE as mentioned by lars.
Then depending on whether you are specifiying "READS SQL DATA" it will act as a READ procedure else as a WRITE procedure.
