How to change heap size in control panel
i've already searches previous post about this problem but still i couldnt get it to work or maybe i'm doing it wrong. i did it a lot of times but still i couldnt get it. can anybody show me how exactly to change the java heap sizes.
and is it possible to display the current java heap size of my jvm?
tnx in advance
nashstanley
You can change the heap by using an option to to the java command, when Java starts up. If you're starting an applet or a Web Start app(applies only to applets or Web Start) then use the Java Control Panel's Java tab to set a value.
The syntax (in all cases) is defined in the documetation for the java command.
There are a number of ways to see the heap size, none of which is "standard" Java, and they vary depending on the specifics of which Java you're running and what you're doing. See:

How to change the size of control´s prompt?
No matter the size of data to be displayed in the view suface prompt, the controls have the same size.
Does anyone here know how to change the size of control in surface prompt?HI,
In order to change the size of a radio button... one way you may consider is to Customise the Radio Button.
Place a Radio Button (RB) on the FP of a VI, Right-Click the RB > Advanced > Customise...
Click the Mode Button (most Left button) for Edit Mode
Right-click the radio button (the round image) now, you will see a list of actions i.e. Copy to clipboard, import picture ...You will see Four images under the 'Picture Item', those are the images that you will need to replace.
Prepare Four Images of the similar but larger expected size
*** Copy the 1st new image to clipboard. Back to the Picture Item and select 1st image. Then, select Import Picture (to replace the existing image)
Repeat *** for all four images.
Once done, change the mode back to original. Save the *.ctl
You are now ready to use the customised radio button!
Quick sample attached (sorry for the poor images created )

How to change hover size in Spry panel but not rest of site?
Hi guys, I need to add more tabs which means I need to reduce the font size of my H2 style and its hover state. However, when I adjust this to be 10 pt in sprytabbedpanels2.css it stays at 14 in live view until I also change the setting to 10 pt in my Arrowmark.css file, which then stuffs up the hovering behaviour of links elsewhere in my site.
Is there a way to adjust the hover only in the tabbed panels style sheet and not affect the rest of the site? Or am I doing something wrong?
My site is at www.wakatipucollection.co.nz/wholesale
Thank you in advance for assistance.
JoMost welcome m'lady +
How about bumping the font size up to12px to give us old guys with 80-year old eyes a break.
You'll also need it on line 126 here:
.TabbedPanelsTab {
cursor: pointer; font-size: 12px;
list-style: none outside none; -

The Martin Evening book on Lightroom 5 says that you can. I can’t discern exactly how.
Maybe, but you are asking in the Camera Raw forum, so I might be excused for not being telepathic. -

how to change font size in textarea?
to embed a font using actionscript requires adding the font to your library. to do that, click the upper right of your library panel, click "new font..", select the font you want and click ok. find the added font in your library, right click, click properties and tick "export for actionscript" (click the actionscript tab if you don't see that option, at first). assign a class name (eg, WhateverFont). you can then use:
var tfor:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
tfor.size=22;
var yourfont:Font=new WhateverFont();
tfor.font = yourfont.fontName;
ta.setStyle("embedFonts",true);
ta.setStyle("textFormat",tfor); -

how to change font size on screen
I'm not certain what font sizes you wish to change, when on a page you can use command and the += button to zoom in and make the fonts larger. On the finder desktop you can make what ever is on the desktop larger or smaller from the finder menu click view, custom view options, and adjust the icon size with the slider on the top, and the text using the text size box to select the size that your comfortable with.
Forgot to add these.

How to change font size, maximum column size in the result screen ?
hi All
That's great when using SQL Dev.
But I also have a trouble that how to change font size, maximum column size in the result screen ?
My users think that font in result screen is shown very small, and whenever the data in each colum is long then it's not shown full data in column, they must double click for extend the size. Have the option to default the max size for showing full data in each column ? I try but still not to do that .
Appreciate for anyone to help us.
Thanks all.
SigmasvnYou can't change the font for the results screen yet, however you will be able to select an auto-fit option for selected columns, so if some columns have slitghtly wider text you'll be able to set the column widths to handle these wider columns.
Also, there s the option of switching the layout of a record in the grid.

In most cases you can adjust the scale of your documents before you print.

For the life of me, I can't find out what size a photo is in terms of inches or how to change the size of the photo[s] so I can print them. I think I read somewhere to click edit, then click adjust. I don't see anything about re-sizing when I click the adjust tab: only saturation and tint levels. Thank you.
With respect to digital images, there really is no size in inches. The size is given as number of pixels horizontally and vertically. In iPhoto '09 you click the little "i" inthe lower right side of the window and it will display information related to the selected photo, including the pixel dimensions. I do not have iPhoto '11 installed so I don't know if it is the same there.
In some applications, such as preview, it has something additional called Dots per Inch (DPI) which you would think would allow you to convert the pixel dimensions to inches. It is not a real thing, though. The DPI is determined by how large or small you have chosen to print your photo and the capabilities of your printer.
There is also something called Aspect Ratio, which is usually expressed in inches x inches such as 6x9 but that doesn't mean the size on the screen or when printed is 6x9. It is the ratio of the pixel dimensions. When cropping your photos, you will have several standard aspect ratios to choose from plus any custom ones you create.
In iPhoto '09, after you choose Print, in the Print Setting window are the settings for the size you want the photo printed. You want to shoose a setting with the same aspect ratio of your photo. Otherwise, iPhoto will resize and/or crop your photo to fit the size you have chosen. -
