How to change in Transfer structure

Hi All,
I want change the mapping of one of my info object in transfer structure.
When I am clicking on the change-display button (pen/spec icon),it's not going into change mode & every thing remains disabled.
I tried with SAPALL authorization from BASIS.....still its the same..
Is there any other way ??
Plz suggest.
Regards,
Kironmoy Banerjee

hii,
firstly check whether the info object u want to insert is available in ur data source or not.if available then there is no need to insert that info object into the transfer structure.but if not, then u have to first insert the Info object in to the data source, then the info object will itself  comes into the transfer structure.

  • How to change the default structure when exporting data in CSV format?

    Hello,
can some one tell us how to change the default structure in CRM when exporting lists in CSV format (with Option "Always use unformatted list format (CSV) for download" ? Because we want to add a new structure for our own -is it possible ?
If it is possible where can we find these structure ? In the blueprint customizing ?
    Thank you very much,

There is a workaround to move from 1.5 version to the older 1.4 version. But this could be specific to the browser setting the JRE version.
    Excerpts from sun docs:
However, a user can still run older versions. To do so, launch the Java Plug-in Control Panel for the older version, then (re)select the browser in the Browser tab.
    Example:
Assume you are running on Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Internet Explorer, have first installed version 1.4.2, then version 5.0, and you want to run 1.4.2.
Go to the j2re1.4.2\bin directory where JRE 1.4.2 was installed. On a Windows default installation, this would be here: C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin
Double-click the jpicpl32.exe file located there. It will launch the control panel for 1.4.2.
Select the Browser tab. Microsoft Internet Explorer might still appear to be set (checked). However, when 5.0 was installed, the registration of the 1.4.2 JRE with Internet Explorer was overwritten by the 5.0 JRE.
If Microsoft Internet Explorer is shown as checked, uncheck it and click Apply. You will see a confirmation dialog stating that browser settings have changed.
Check Microsoft Internet Explorer and click Apply. You should see a confirmation dialog.
Restart the browser. It should now use the 1.4.2 JRE for conventional APPLET tags.
    Details are here
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/deployment/deployment-guide/jcp.html
My system (Windows XP) has the version 1.5_09 set as the default. However i just installed JRE 1.5_06 and would like to revert back to _06 as the default JRE..
Will update if i find more information

  • How to Change S012  Table Structure ..?

    Hi MM Experts,
How to copy and how to create new structure  and new caracterstics and MAterial type from  table S012 .
    T-code for execute MCE1 .
How to Change S012  Table Structure ..?
    Regards,
    Anthyodaya.
Edited by: anthyodaya Reddy Nagaram on Jul 7, 2010 12:44 PM

    Anthyodaya,
Values?  Your newly created infostructure will have no data until you define how to update the underlying tables, and then execute the update.
You need to be a bit more specific.  Are you saying that you attempted a 1-to-1 copy of S012 into a new structure, and you got a failure?  What failure?  What error message?  If you have saved your new infostructure, you can run the consistency utility to see what if anything is missing/misconfigured  MCSCHECK.
If you have no experience with infostructures, I suggest you enlist the services of an experienced person to assist you.  Especially if you intend to implement non-standard characteristics and values, this can be a complex task.

Do you documents contain an XML Declaration like this at the top?
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-2"?>
If not, then they need to. The XML 1.0 specification says that if an XML declaration is not present, the processor must default to assume its in UTF-8 encoding.

  • How to change the case structure to string input?

    Hi,
I have the inner case structure that it will decide to set "DC Voltage" or "DC Current" mode. The "Output Function" contained the selection of function "DC Voltage" or "DC Current". So far it only work with DC Voltage not DC Current. My question is how do I change the case structure to string selector? When the output function is selected to DC Voltage then the case structure is selected DC voltage case. Please help Thanks.

    test.vi ‏35 KB

You don't really need to convert the value to a string? The problem is that the value of the individual ring items are not 0 and 1, as you assumed. The values generated by the controls are:
    DC Voltage: 1006
    DC Current: 1007.
You can find this out by viewing the properties for the "Output Function" and going to the "Edit Items" tab.
So, all you need to do is change the 0 to 1006 and the 1 to 1007 for your case items.
By the way, your sequence frame serves no purpose.

  • How to change the Element structure of a DefaultSyledDocument

    Hello,
I'm trying to override the insertUpdate method of DefaultStyledDocument so that I could build my own Element structure by adding my own BranchElement- and LeafElement-s. If I examine the Element hierarchy everything seems OK. But when I use my document in a JTextPane. I get the error Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" javax.swing.text.StateInvariantError: GlyphView: Stale view: javax.swing.text.BadLocationException: Invalid location (I add the whole dump at the end of this message), whenever I add a new line to the document (to test this compile and run the included code and press then newline after the 'He' in 'Hello'. I suspect that the error is caused by the fact that the view hierarchy is not updated correctly but I'm not sure. To be honest I have searched for a while for some example code, explaning how you can make your own element hierarchy in a DefaultStyledDocument (without using ElementBuffer), but to no avail.
Can any of the Text gurus here shed some lights on my code and see what is wrong with it or point me to some example code.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

I am trying to add primitive syntax highlighting to my JTextPane and have serious problems which I already stated in this forum. Now I read from uncle_alice that the text package from swing is not ment for that and that I need to write my own JTextPane and my own document and view.
Can you explain what you mean by "writing my own JTextPane and View and Dcoument".
My own Document I already have in order to provide SQL-highlighting.
But what exactly do you mean by suggesting to write my own View! Whoever uses JTextPane doesnt really have much to do with its view. Can you give me a hint as I am completely stuck with an Exception : "javax.swing.text.StateInvariantError: GlyphView: Stale view: javax.swing.text.BadLocationException: Length must be positive"
can you pinpoint the standard text-package's deficiency? it lacks what? what is the best work around?
    cheers

  • Editing Chart legends: How to change the line structure within the legend?

    Hi,
I have one problem: I have several charts in Numbers and since I need to print them in black/white, colors cannot be used to differentiate between the lines. So if I have a dotted line and a solid line, the legend only shows me solid lines as line symbols, so the line structure is not reflected within the legend. Can I change that?

_This question was already asked and responded._
Put a text box with the true kind of line above the one displayed automatically.

  • How to change the inventory structure

I am now running Oracle 11.0.3, 15 users, AP,AR,GL,INV,OE and PO
on MS NT platform. The existing inventory item is using 10
segments and 20 characters which is very difficult for data
entry. Thus I would like to change it to 1 segment and 10
characters. I want to keep all transactions (all data) in AR,AP
& GL and I would give up (purge way) all data in OE, PO and INV
after restructuring as it has different structure on item master.
One way is to create a new instance/database, re-configure the
AR, AP & GL setting and convert all data from AR,AP & GL, then
configure the new item master structure and re-enter about 500
items. This will take too much time (20-30 mandays).
The other way is after the month-end closing, disable all 10
segments, purge way all transactions in INV, OE & PO. Then
create a new segment with 10 characters and re-compile it. I
would prefer this method as it has minimum effort.
My question is whether the 2nd method is feasible or not? Will
there be any problem in using this method?

You don't really need to convert the value to a string? The problem is that the value of the individual ring items are not 0 and 1, as you assumed. The values generated by the controls are:
    DC Voltage: 1006
    DC Current: 1007.
You can find this out by viewing the properties for the "Output Function" and going to the "Edit Items" tab.
So, all you need to do is change the 0 to 1006 and the 1 to 1007 for your case items.
By the way, your sequence frame serves no purpose.

  • Re: How to see transfer structure in sap r/3 system

    Hi All,
In generic extraction I have created extract structure ,in the extract structure I have 6 fields but I am trasferring only 4 fields to the BW system ,So it will creates transfer structure in BW System with the 4 fields but when the Transfer structure in sap r/3 generates and how can see the transfer structure in sap r/3 system.I will give full points if i get the correct answer.
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi ,
Data source = extract structure in r/3 system  +  transfer structure in r/3 system  + transfer structure in bw system .
for exmpale you try to extract the following fields
    1) vbeln
    2) erdat
    3) ernam
    4)netwr
5)waerk  from vbak table but you decided to trasfer only 4 fields expect the erdat in that case
extract structure contains all 5 fields and transfer structure contains 4 fields in BW system  expect erdat field,
As far as my knowledge is concern when replicate the data source in bw system and activate the infosource at that time
it will create the transfer structure in r/3 system but I dont know how to see the transfer structure in r/3 system,
please help me in this regard.

  • Transfer Structure Status - Clock Symbol

I have data in my ODS and have moved that data to the cube.  I have lost some of that data in the cube because of a delete of overlapping conditions.  I need to get that data back into the cube from the ODS.  I was going to load it from the ODS, but when I did, it only loaded a small portion of the packages from the ODS.  The reason is because after our ERP upgrade, we had to activate the InfoSource.  Now when you look at the Reconstruct tab in the ODS, the normal double green check marks have now been replaced with one check mark and a clock symbol.  It appears this data cannot be recovered.  Does anyone know if it is possible to recover this data and be able to move it to the cube.
    Thanks,  Keith J

    Hi Keith,
When ever there is change to transfer structure in re construction tab we  will get that clock symbol. In your case as you are loading data from ODS to CUBE , from your first load from ODS to recent load there is change in your ODS object structure, that is the reason u are seeing clock symbol.if u are trying to reconstruct your requests it will pop up a message stating that to ignore the request click no,I think it will upload that request again,if not do an init load from ODS again and schedule your deltas regularly

  • Change an extract-structure in an existing datasource

    Hello,
I want to change an extract-structure in an existing datasource (0COORDER_TEXT), but I don't know how to do.
(I first thought I can do it with trx RSA6.)
Can anybody give me a hint how to change the extract-structure?
    Kind regards
    Udo

    Hi,
yes, you can change an extract-structure in an existing datasource . The enhancemet of DataSource is the process of enhancing your extract structures by creating an append with your ZZ/YY fields and filling these fields using a specific user exits. Then you have to fill those fields with some ABAP custom code that can be anything from some simple calculations or table lookups to complex business logic requiring access to multiple database tables. You can do that by CMOD, creating a project and using the enhancement:RSAP0001.
You have to follow bellow steps:
    1. Go to RSA6.
    2. Select the Data Source.
    3. Select display Data Source (Ctr+F2).
    4. Double click on the Extract structure.
    5. Click on the Append Structure.
    6. Add the required field .
    7. Activate the Append Structure.
    8. Go to CMOD.Give the Project, select Display.
    9. Click on ZXRSAU01.
    10.you have the bellow exits:
        a).Transaction data: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001
        b).Master data attributes: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002
        c).Master data texts: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_003
        d).Master data hierarchies: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_004
    11. select Transaction Data EXIT,then you have to write the ABAP CODE
    12. save and activate.
    13. check the data in RSA3.
    These steps will help you.

    HI Venkat,
As said jayasudha, No need to map the infoobject in the transfer structure. If u r loading the data from R3 then go Extract Structure in rsa6 select ur DS and click on change. In extract structure hide the ur keyfigure.

  • How to change target structure order

    Hi Guys,
I am having the problem for changing the target structure order,
I am dealing the fixed length files using the sender file adopter I am getting the order what ever I want. example below mention.
created the data type message type and every thing my own and also used sender file adopter with file content conversion.
    Source
      STRU1
      STRU2
      STRU3
      STRU1
Where as I got the XSD from the vendor for the target and used external definition. When I am doing the message mapping I am getting different order.
I want the target as below mention
    Target
      STRU1
      STRU2
      STRU3
      STRU1
But I am getting as :
      Target
         STRU1
         STRU1
         STRU2
         STRU3.
Can you guys please help to get order what ever I want....
    Thank
    Babu

    Sarvesh,
Those are like  STRU1, STRU2 STRU3 structures not fields, every structure has n number fileds.
When I configure my sender file adopter I got the order what ever i need, but when I am doing message mapping structure level mapping like
       STRU1 -
    > STRU1
       STRU2 -
    > STRU2
       STRU3 -
    > STRU3
Since STRU1 has 2 occurrences  in source first and last.
when I did above mapping the STRU1 is comming 2 times as a first, Which I do not want.
    I hope you understand ..
can you please help me how to get order in target..
    Thanks
