How to change line item column order in FV50
Hi,
I need to change the line item column order in GL document entry screen. I tried drag and drop but it didn't work for all the columns. Is there a setting I can change for all the users?

It does not work for all the column, but those columns that you can change can be fixed. First change the column to the desired sequence, then click on small icon at the right end of the column. When you take the cursor over that corner icon, it displays "configuration".
There, give a zname and enable set as default. and save.

You can give any number manually as the line item when you are creating the sales order.
While creating the order give the item number also manually, then the system will accept. Once you given the line item number , it will not allow you to change it.
Then you need to delete the line item and re-insert with the line item number you want.

Change line item status at table level & also in transaction.
Hello,
I want to change the status of line item in CRM service order at table level. This change should reflect in transaction too.
Ex. Order X is in release state. When i run my program for line item 10 with enabling a check box in the selection screen, then the line item status shd be changed to "complete".
Table to change status is CRM_JCDS. Kindly send sample code on how to change the status in order through pgm.

Open item management tick checked in GL master as we have run the program FAGL_SWITCH_TO_OPEN_ITEM .
Also GL shows the line item dispaly as RFSEPA01 had been executed.
However FAGLL03 shows all the old line item as posted status -we are looking for option have the status of all the old
line item as open item indicatior(in red) there by we can have the option to select all the item to process open item in F-03.
Appreciate for an amicable solution on this.

with the help of T180-TRTYP field you know if that doc has been changed or created.
If it is not equal to H it is changed. H means created.
pass the TCODE of Sched Agreement and check this field.
You can use the CDHDR and CDPOS table s to get the changed values of new item.

How to transfer Line Items from One GL account to another GL account.
We, at the time of changing Non Open Item Manged account to Open Item Manged account, how can we transfer Line items to make this GL account Zero, If suppose line items are more than 200.

Points assured.If you are attempting to change the account from Non Open Item managed, you need to make the account balance zero. The change will be be effective only for future transactions. You need not transfer all line items, find the balance and make an entry to debit or credit to make it zero, to a temporary account. Later, once you have activated, you can reverse that transaction.
The OSS 606977 refered may be helpful if you are looking for reverse activation. i.e from Open to Non Open. Here is a brief:
Symptom
In the G/L account master record, you can activate/deactivate the 'Open item management' indicator if the balance of the account is zero. In this case, the system does not check whether postings exist on the account.
If postings exist, this could lead to problems, for example, if the clearing is reversed after the change to the indicator is made.
Other terms
FS00, FS02, FSS0, FS02, FH190, XOPVW
Reason and Prerequisites
The transactions for the maintenance of the G/L account master record did not check whether postings exist on the account. Now the program checks whether postings exist in the current year or previous two fiscal years.
Solution
Implement the attached correction or import the corresponding Support Package. Since it could make sense to change an account with balance zero from open item managed to non-open item managed (and vice versa) - despite postings to the account - the message is delivered as customizable (with error as a default setting).
The check is also carried out, when open-item management is activated, is postings exist on the account.
If you implement the note you must also carry out the following:
Use Transaction SE91 to create message 190 in message class FH with the following text:
Account balance = 0; however, postings exist on the account
Use Transaction SM30 to insert the following entry into view T100S:
Application area FH
MsgNo 190
Allowed EW
Standard E
Afterwards, the message can be customized in View V_T100C. To do this, you can use Transaction OBA5. -

vigneshStefan, as stated, this was not well thought through solution (but with some work would be possible to achieve).
Regarding memory leaks. We have spent quite a bit of time looking in-depth at the shop code over the years and have so far seen very little evidence of actual memory leaks.
MASSIVE memory consumption, yes, definitely, but no actual leaks
If you have a suitable OS and JVM running that will allow you to crank up your JVM memory settings then you will most likely see that the memory usage will plateau...it might just be at a much higher level than you would have reasonably expected.
To give you an example. One of our customers was running a very large catalog (900 000 items) and the shop used 22 GB of memory when running. One of the main reasons in their case, with such a big catalog, was how the web shop chooses to create web cat items and cache them. Deep in the standard shop code you can find that there are lots and lots of ArrayLists initiated and they are all given a >0 default length, which consumes memory even when empty. In this particular case this became such a big issue that we sent SAP the proof that if they would initiate the ArrayLists with 0 length the memory consumption would drop significantly for each WebCatItem instance.
We estimated at the time after some in-place replacements of the CatalogAttributeValue, class out of the pcatAPI.jar where we set it by default to null instead of size of 10 that we would have saved about 40% of memory consumption. We even prepared the test case and sent it all to SAP, but don't think we ever got it implemented in standard code.
Another suggestion was that SAP would implement a LRU cache for catalog caching for larger catalogs....again would help with memory usage challenges.
With another customer we had 1 Million+ hits per business day (8 h period) and I can't remember us ever having to chase up memory leaks in the standard shop code...they might exist, but perhaps the usage scenarios I've been involved in have just not brought most of them to daylight.
Purely out of interest...if you have found memory leaks in the shop it would be interesting to hear where you found them.

PO number in your BAPI header structure and

You can identify the debit balance by checking the amount with positive value. Or you can also select "debit/credit" indicator in the screen layout. when the layout come out, you'll see "H" representing credit and "S" representing debit.
Regarding second question, normally the line item that still need to be paid is identified as "open item" (red color", and the amount that has been paid as "cleared item" (green color).
Even the amount already paid, it will still sign negative, but you can see the "clearing document" number as the payment or clearing document.
Note that, the assumption on the above is that the payment of outstanding vendor is using clearing procedure.

My req is have to change the status of line item of order from in progress to completed .
Please tell me the function module .i am using the same funtion module but it is working, my problem is that in our system order status is maintaing on the basis of item category Z used in Z order type is having the object type as SALES ITEM and which are automatically deliver relevant. We have noticed that the Z order line item status remains at "In Process" rather that moving to "Completed" status after running billing in R/3 system. At the same time the header status of the order reverts back to completed.
SAP has given the option of modifying the ORDER_SAVE badi or modify the include LCRM_STATUS_ECF09 to change the status
completed whenever there is Z item category appears (which looks for deliver document) .
I applied the logic but when i maintain the status as completed for item category then it will not showing the billing doc number in doc flow .

Give all the defualt fields whtatever you want then use this sample account while creating GL account
One more possibility is with SHD0 screen layout change with defaults (this thing i am not sure)

Additional Data On Actual Cost Line Item for Orders. Possible?
Is it possible to show on display of Actual Cost Line Item for Orders the cost center for both settled and not yet settled? As for now we can only view the cost centers that are already settled. Please see attached file for a snap picture of the display.
